“If I could give you a six stars, I would we were staying at the Hilton Clearwater Beach and noticed your sign. Just a block away. We love to eat locally mom and Pop stuff. “The Opal sol is beautiful and clean. It is a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are gorgeous and the view from your room cannot be beat. We just got back from 5 nights here and we were sad to leave. The employees were kind and helpful. I also highly recommend room service breakfast. It comes very fast and it’s perfectly hot and delicious.“

“Walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile by Malcom who helped us choose the best options. I so wanted to try the gizzards but they were sold out-they must be good! We had the garlic snow crab platter and had them spice it up a bit, so buttery and flaky. We also tried the garlic shrimp platter which had plenty of large shrimp and both had delicious butter soaked potatoes and corn on the cob too. Then we had the fried catfish with seasoned fries. This is a take out only location and all the better for it. When we picked up our order we got to meet "Little Pompey" who was rang us up and thanked us for our business. Any platter you choose Snow Crab, Blue Crab, Shrimp will be worth it just ask for a little heat if you like it!“

“We came for a much needed beach day and of course the famous Frenchys! We decided to sit at the bar to avoid the wait on a table and especially after JT gave us a warm welcome at the take out window. Lauren was the other bartender, she was super sweet and very attentive, I don't think she ever broke a smile. JT recommended the octopus and OMG it was hands down the best we ever had. We had some drink off the specials menu called a dirty banana, for that alone we will be back. Wish there was a live band playing while we were there but Lauren and JT made up for that. We had a great time, the food never disappoints and the customer service was out of this world. It was really busy, but don’t let that scare you away. You can still get great full service and add some fantastic memories with your family or friends at the bar.“

“What a walk down memory lane this is!!! We haven’t been to Bobby’s Bistro, or its more upscale sister restaurant the Beachcomber in years. Twenty years ago, these two restaurants were the absolute “It” place, the best in Tampa. Amazingly, the decor is exactly the same as 20 years ago but somehow doesn’t look dated at all. The food was fantastic. We met George, our server, who is a bit of a celebrity, and he was super nice and gave me a supersized shot! Glad to give this notable establishment a great review!“

“The managers both Carlie and Justin were both very accommodating when I called to make a reservation for 20 to celebrate a birthday at the restaurant. Our server Devon did an outstanding job and was absolutely fine regarding our request for multiple checks. The food was simply delicious and the prices were reasonable. “Im a frequent visitor of the "left coast" beaches. This trip brought me to Clearwater for an afternoon Phils game at BayCare Ball Park....Stopped in Philly Joes before the game. Had a great initial feeling when we walked in when some local firefighters were enjoying their lunch. Always a good sign...Split a cheese steak fried onions and order Fries with the wifey. Had the steak with Joes homemade velvety smooth cheese sauce which was delicious. Also was provided with couple side cups filled with the cheese sauce to dip our fries. Steak was delicious and roll was OK. I'm spoiled living here in the Philly area as far as rolls go. Food was prepared and served by Joe himself who was behind the line. Place was incredibly clean which Joe took an incredible amount of pride in when we spoke to him for a few mins on our way out. Joe is a true NE Philly guy that's putting out a great product in the Clearwater area.“

Adela was our waitress and we were greeted and sat as soon as we entered.
We ordered the stuffed portobello appetizer before dinner and it came out very fast and was delicious!
My wife ordered the blackened mahi sandwich and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Both came with French fries that were crunchy and not greasy .
My wife also ordered a Painkiller and it came in a collectable cup that ypu can use at all their locations and get $10 refills.

It was my first time visiting since they built this one and hoped to see some familiar faces that worked at the one that was there before but many new faces.
Adela was a familiar face though (she has worked there since before the new one was built) and she was a great waitress !
I have to say , all the staff was smiling and very nice !

“I’ve driven past this place many times before when I worked out on Clearwater Beach when I lived in Dunedin 10 years ago, well earlier today my husband & I & our daughter was at the light right next to this little spot when we crossed wind with the smell of their smoker & oh my did it smell good….🤤 so I told my husband that we HAD TO GO BACK after we got done getting gas & I tell you what I’m GLAD WE WENT BACK the food DID NOT disappoint…..I will DEFINITELY go back…❣️“

Well I had issues tonight with my driver, nothing the restaurant did, DoorDash drivers just weren’t so kind or accommodating. The lady I spoke to, I believe she’s the owner but I don’t recall - she went above and beyond for me. The food here is incredible and that’s coming from someone who is very picky with how Chinese food is made. Despite all the issues I had, my food came HOT and delicious as usual. “Just got our first delivery from here. Solid take out that came in less than 45 minutes on a Friday night at 7pm. We eat our fair share of a Chinese food and this was different in good ways. General Tso's chicken be has was fresh and not overly breaded. The steamed dumplings were light & flavorful... Not that thick, doughy stuff were used to. House special soup seemed like it was just made. Fresh veggies, wonton that were light like the dumplings, not even remotely overly salty like most we've had. This will definitely be our rainy, movie night go to place!“
