“Our server, Lauren, was friendly and fast! We ordered three appetizers as an afternoon snack for three people and it was plenty of food! The pretzel is adorable and delicious! Love the presentation - so fun for a vacation destination appetizer! The crab fries were crispy, garlicky, and covered in crab meat! The jalapeno hush puppies were so good.“

“Food is excellent. Service was not good. It took ten minutes to be acknowledged after being seated. And we were not asked if we wanted dessert when done. Is bread served with meal here?“

“Walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile by Malcom who helped us choose the best options. I so wanted to try the gizzards but they were sold out-they must be good! We had the garlic snow crab platter and had them spice it up a bit, so buttery and flaky. We also tried the garlic shrimp platter which had plenty of large shrimp and both had delicious butter soaked potatoes and corn on the cob too. Then we had the fried catfish with seasoned fries. This is a take out only location and all the better for it. When we picked up our order we got to meet "Little Pompey" who was rang us up and thanked us for our business. Any platter you choose Snow Crab, Blue Crab, Shrimp will be worth it just ask for a little heat if you like it!“

“The place is great! It has that perfect beach vibe mixed with excellent service and atmosphere! Definitely a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy their famous grouper sandwiches.

I tried the traditional fried grouper sandwich — it was good and well-prepared, but I’ll try other options next time to give a more accurate verdict. While it didn’t completely blow me away, it was still tasty and satisfying.

What really makes the place stand out is the friendly service, quick attention, and positive energy! I totally recommend visiting this awesome spot and enjoying a nice margarita while watching the sunset.

“What a walk down memory lane this is!!! We haven’t been to Bobby’s Bistro, or its more upscale sister restaurant the Beachcomber in years. Twenty years ago, these two restaurants were the absolute “It” place, the best in Tampa. Amazingly, the decor is exactly the same as 20 years ago but somehow doesn’t look dated at all. The food was fantastic. We met George, our server, who is a bit of a celebrity, and he was super nice and gave me a supersized shot! Glad to give this notable establishment a great review!“

Our server Devon did an outstanding job and was absolutely fine regarding our request for multiple checks. The food was simply delicious and the prices were reasonable. “Im a frequent visitor of the "left coast" beaches. This trip brought me to Clearwater for an afternoon Phils game at BayCare Ball Park....Stopped in Philly Joes before the game. Had a great initial feeling when we walked in when some local firefighters were enjoying their lunch. Always a good sign...Split a cheese steak fried onions and order Fries with the wifey. Had the steak with Joes homemade velvety smooth cheese sauce which was delicious. Also was provided with couple side cups filled with the cheese sauce to dip our fries. Steak was delicious and roll was OK. I'm spoiled living here in the Philly area as far as rolls go. Food was prepared and served by Joe himself who was behind the line. Place was incredibly clean which Joe took an incredible amount of pride in when we spoke to him for a few mins on our way out. Joe is a true NE Philly guy that's putting out a great product in the Clearwater area.“

“We had a great time here. Our room was perfect with beautiful views of the ocean, pools and the city. Couldn’t have asked for a better room. The pool with the glass looking over the ocean was awesome. I especially loved that the pools were on the 6th floor overlooking the ocean with great views of all the boats. A plus for having an ice water container with cups on the outside bar by the pools for very hot days! The beach was only about a 2 block walk and Shepherds beach resort is only a couple hotels down to go for their awesome outside bands every night. Very quiet at night so you can have a good night sleep. We will definitely be back soon 😊“

“We walked in for dinner before the Alison Krauss concert yesterday and had a blast. The food was on point and they were packed but still able to run everything. We sat in the middle room, on the high top, next to the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this place. Also, to the lady managing food leaving the kitchen, which made everything work, we had to resist screaming we have jazz hands every time you yelled "I need hands" LOL... Most importantly, there were four of us and we had an appetizer before our entrees. Everyone had a different dish and they were all excellent.“

“had the spaghetti and meatballs and it was absolutely phenomenal! tasted just like mom used to make . those meatballs were sooooo good i was sad when they were gone! definitely returning for more. my only criticism would be the desserts were a bit warm ( cheesecake and peanut butter pie) took them home and chilled them before i ate them. but i will definitely be back!“

“I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp w/ plain fried rice. My favorite part was how well the veggies were cooked and the sauce was flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The rice was a little dry and I was disappointed that there were only 6 shrimp they were so good I wanted more!

“We had at rehearsal dinner at the Marina Cantina and I could not be more pleased with how it turned out. Leading up to the event, we worked with Nina very often and she was extremely communicative and kind. She helped ensure our event was well prepared and it truly was! The food was absolutely delicious, our guests were raving about everything! I even heard a guest say it was the best rehearsal dinner food they have ever had! The servers, bartenders and staff were on their A game and kept the space clean, especially during the meal and dessert transitions. I am so glad we choose the Marina Cantina for our event. 10/10 recommend!!!!!!!“
