“The food here is excellent, however the wait staff not so much.This was my second visit and I couldn't wait to come back here, unfortunately I sat at the bar and my bartender wasn't happy or pleasant until literally the end of the night when the bar was empty.The manager is friendly but not the hostess, maybe it was an off night.I will go back, the food's that delicious, but hopefully an Italian restaurant would have some music going and warm friendly staff.Another thing I've noticed is that everything has changed with wait staff since Covid. Nobody seems to want to be there. Just an observation.Hopefully my next visit my server is happier.“

“We’re on my vacation trip for my birthday & we decided we wanted some local pizza for lunch and this place is perfect! We are originally from Alabama & not a far drive for us so we will definitely be back to Merlin’s Destin, FL! Jacey was our server she’s very polite and friendly she didn’t bother us too much just checked on us a few times wasn’t to pushy which is a plus we don’t like when the server comes back to back ! “This place is a hidden gem. Lots (over 10) classic pinball machines - Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Classic Monsters, and many more. The staff was very helpful and had great recommendations. The food was top notch and the fresh juice and homemade hot sauces made it all that much better. The portion sizes were perfect. “This is a great place to go have a few beers and a nice dinner, we went there 3 times while in Destin. We enjoyed the steak frites, fish tacos and truffle fries and the service was good too. They are very dog friendly which was a plus for us since we had our dog with us!“

“We loved the folks at IWC! Azro, Joey, and a brand new gal were all wonderful and made us feel like locals. Azro was wonderful with telling us some cool local sightseeing spots and was so patient with us as we sat outside with our dog and waited for a few hours before we could get into our AirBnB. Yes! They are dog friendly on the patio. They even have a healthy dinner menu for dogs and brought out a fresh bowl of water for our pup!They were all so wonderful that we went back a second time to watch some of March Madness.The bartenders make stellar drinks and the happy hour food seriously cannot be beat for size and price. It opens at 8 AM on the weekdays and 9 AM on the weekends.There was a group of us vacationing in Florida looking for a healthy breakfast. We found Kwench on Google. With it being only a 10 minute drive from our condo, we decided to try it out.It was a little difficult to find at first. Just FYI, it is in the back area of a strip mall, not right off the street, and there is plenty of parking. What I noticed first was how clean and fresh it felt when I walked in the door. Very colorful and welcoming.I chose the Berry Blast Smoothie that has banana, blackberry, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and coconut water. It was really good and perfect for a quick meal before we played disc golf.I was really glad they used fresh fruit instead of frozen. It really makes a difference in the flavor.“

“I love it when a place rebounds! Went in last week and the place has been cleaned too to bottom. Before, there was a smell like the bar area wasn't being cleaned. Service was quick and attentive. Looks like the new owners are putting in the work. Food has definitely improved and you can tell they are using higher quality ingredients.“

“Good home style pizza, a little more expensive, but quality is definitely n better than big chains. I didn't actually have any problem with our service, but they were being weird about ordering take out an hour before close. They also turned people away while I was picking up a half hour before close. I don't think there's enough service workers around here during spring break, so it may just be a stress thing. Some other places I checked were closing early, too.“

“I am a frequent customer and normally everything is good. I place a nice size order tonight for Me and the grandkids. I should have checked the order before I left but they were rushing me through the drive thru and they assured me that everything was in the bags. However it was not. I paid extra for a side salad and NO SALAD. Called and talked to the manager and she said can you come back. No not with 3 little grandkids and 30 Minutes away. And of course she could not find my order even though I gave her my order number. Next time I will stay at the drive thru until I check everything in the bags“

I agree to try it even though, as a northern girl, southern seafood is not my taste (pun intended). I love onion rings and almost ordered them as an appetizer. I am so glad that I opted to pay extra and have them as a side because I was disappointed. Too much batter; hard, and crunchy and cold. The grouper sandwich with fried green tomatoes was my entrée (aka Weeks Bay Original Fish Sandwic). and The fish and bread were good, the tomatoe were like the onion rings, too much batter, hard, crunchy. I prefer tomatoes cold but, it didn't matter because I couldn't taste the tomatoes over the batter. The coleslaw was second only to the actual fish.I would return because the music, drinks and service were excellent but, I would not order anything that I mentioned above.“
