“We made reservations to sit on the patio. We were celebrating our anniversary. The patio had a beautiful ambience. We started with a pitcher of sangria, which was delicious! I had the sangria salad which had lots of fresh fruit and a raspberry vinaigrette. It was delicious too. For our meal, we had the fisherman's stew which came out in a boiling clay pot. It was the best meal we had during our visit to Amelia Island. Lots of seafood and a coconut milk broth, which was light and rich at the same time. The menu indicates it is spicy. I love things that are spicy hot, this just had a light spice to it. It was perfect. For dessert we had the tiramisu. I would come back to this restaurant and order the same thing!“

“Our meal at Burlingame was the best we have had in a very long time!! It started with the delicious house made bread and butter then the drinks. A Gin Gimlet and a Bees Knees..both fantastic. Next, we opted for the Brussel Sprout appetizer. We have had this similarly prepared at many restaurants and there was something pleasantly different about this one. Hands down, this was the best we've ever had!! Our entrees were the vegetarian Asparagus Risotto with added Scallops and the NY Strip Steak with house made fries. Both of these were amazing!!! I don't know if we will ever be in this area again, but if we are we will make a return visit to Burlingame for sure!!“

“We have eaten here on Sunday for brunch several times. Fabulous service and the food never fails to be delicious no matter what we order. My favorite, French toast, melts in your mouth. “Came here for Sunday brunch. My wife and I had Bloody Mary's. Those were great. I had the crab cake eggs benedict (pictured) and a side of cheese grits. Both were delicious. Only downside was that my wife's soup and salad were just okay. Our server (I think her name was Sierra?) was attentive and did a great job. Overall enjoyed our experience. We'll be back soon.“

“Covid addressed every business...Flacon's Nest now has a smaller menu but has added an amazing selection of beers to accompany the food. A great place to take kids and sports fans with many monitors to view games. They were closed for a while to put in a new floor but now open to enjoy.“

“We have been coming to Cantina Louie weekly (or more) and really like it. The menu has lots of different dishes, the food is good, and orders come out quickly. We always sit at the bar to eat, in large thanks to Raquel, our favorite bartender in Fernandina Beach. She's entertaining, very engaging, and always makes us feel at home. Go check her out.“

“It was outstanding! Hands down the best bbq in Northeast Florida we've had since moving here many years ago!We got ribs, 1/4 chicken, and pulled pork. Beautiful bark, very tender, and perfectly cooked. Sauce comes on the side and it was good but honestly, the rub they use is so flavorful, you don't even need sauce. I can't wait to be hungry again so I can come back!“

The Alley is a fantastic Host for our Art Classes... and a perfect location for a small party or gathering... TV, Music, own bar tender, plenty of seating... lovely atmosphere, great in-house Beer too!“

“Vegan breakfast burrito on Amelia Island, that says it all. They've been a stalwart here for years. New owner in the last year apparently but vegan options are still good. They included a to -go butter with the food, which is a no-no, but the food was tasty and fresh. Great outdoor sitting space too in addition to nice are inside.“

“Here's another restaurant added to my favorite restaurant to go back to in downtown Amelia Island. Amazing view of water topped it off with a nice lunch and friendly crews. My husband had the shrimp po boy and I had the Buffalo shrimp salad, both are exquisitely tasty. I also tried the crab hush puppies- I tasted a touch of crab in it but I was expecting more of crabs. But overall, I liked what ww ordered. The nice view and tasty food made it very easy for me to rate it 5 star. With an appetizer (crab grit au gratin) and 2 meals plus 3 drinks totalled $97 without tip.“

“The staff are friendly and courteous. The food is great; the grilled chicken for the caesar salad is nicely done and there's bacon in it! The view, is really incredible. A cold beer and a seat looking out across the intercoastal marsh is a real treat.“

“Not a fancy place, but the food says it all ! Maybe the best Eggs Florentine I've ever had. Gorgeously poached egg with the perfect balance of English muffin, spinach, tomato, egg and hollandaise. Potatoes O'Brien were so flavorful - caramelized with onion and peppers ! Coffee was even good ! Food speaks fine dining ... atmosphere is completely unpretentious. Love it !“
