Someone placed a heater on the deck and never turned it on. As it turned out they couldn't light it because they were out of propane.”

“We arrived without a reservation (recommended) and were told by a young gentleman that we could eat inside if we could be done in an hour. Not exactly what you want to hear. When we were seated we told the young lady that seated us this. Our server came over and said "Don't worry about it. You can take as long as you want." We were celebrating both of our retirements and wanted a nice dinner. The rest of the evening was nothing short of exceptional. The service was world class (no less than 5 staff waited on us), the food was spot on, and the drinks fabulous. The owner graciously visited our table and made sure everything was great. We will certainly be back next year when we visit again.”

“Experiencing exceptional service at a business, especially moments before they close, is nothing short of magical. On my very first visit, I was in pursuit of a good cup of coffee and, thanks to a quick Google Maps search, I lucked into this gem. My joy, however, was tinged with a hint of sadness upon realizing that this wonderful place was a considerable 4 and a half hours journey from my home. The level of service I received was simply unparalleled. Every sweet treat I tried was a delightful experience, leaving no room for any criticism. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that they hailed from Chicago, adding a layer of charm to their already impressive setup. Regrettably, my visit was too brief to sample their Italian beef, but if it's anything like the rest of their offerings, I'm sure it's fantastic. The coffee alone was worth noting, but what truly set this place apart was the outstanding customer service. It's evident that the combination of their culinary excellence and exceptional service is what draws people back time and again. “This was such a hidden gem. Cash only, but it was a great find with freshly caught and cleaned fish. Not a huge menu but perfect if you want fish! They were very helpful in recommending what and how to order the best option. Red snapper and peel and easy shrimp were our favorites!”

They have a nice bar as well, small but perfect if you are looking to relax, eat and drink. Veal was amazing, desert was fantastic, had a nice chat with some other folks sitting next to us as well. “Super nice casual place to eat and sit and drink. The fresh fish is excellent. The ceviche was excellent.With the fish entrees you also get the pretty decent salad bar.We ordered the snapper and the grouper entrees, grilled.Both were excellent. The snapper maybe a bit flakier.Again, not like a casino buffet but very nice. The bread was fresh and tasty.It’s very laid-back and simple. No need to get dressed up. They have a very large bar lots of tables and you can get a seat out by the windows by the peers which is very nice.The Mojitos, my girlfriend says, were the best she’s ever had. The pomegranate Mojito to be specific.There was also a fantastic reggae band.The young ladies at the front hostess station were also very friendly.A winner!”

“Great experience! We've been to Thai Thai multiple times and it's always good food! We love the katsu chicken fried rice and we add pineapple to it. So good. And their mango coconut rice dessert is delicious! And they have my fave, Thai tea. Love the robot that delivers your order too. And they have outdoor seating if you want that. Tonya the bartender was super efficient and very friendly and Joey the manager stopped by to check on my meal and thank me for coming in. “Went to Snook Inn and it was mobbed so we walked down the street and found this place. So glad Snook was busy because I doubt it would have been as good. The Boardroom is a cozy bar with live entertainment every night and food provided by Smith House Restaurant right across the alley. This may be the best value on Marco Island. Really fun, funky place serving great food all at very reasonable prices.”

“Fabulous restaurant - our third year visiting in the area and this restaurant is the best by far. The veal and chicken francaise are perfect and include a side salad, mashed potatoes, carrots and green beans - all delicious. The warm sour dough bread is a wonderful start as well. “Had Rez for Saturday and wasn’t busy. Seated on Patio. Three of us at a 6 top. Ordered Frito Misto app. Zero shrimp it was basically calamari with a few green beans. I ordered the Swordfish Picata which I’ve ordered many times. It was pretty weak. The crust on the swordfish was soggy. The pasta was loaded with large slices of almost raw garlic and one tiny morsel of crab. There was almost zero sauce. There was however a huge portion of al dente veggies which took up most of the plate. This dish has gone downhill substantially. My wife ordered it was well and hers was the same. It looks like they are cutting corners.”
