“We greatly enjoyed our dinner at The Deck. However, the star of our whole trip was Tricia serving the drinks on the beach. She is so sweet and fun, and makes the absolute cocktails my wife and I have had. The convenience of being able to get drinks at your beach chair is such a treat (and them tasting so good) will definitely having us coming back. Tricia is the best and helped make our trip that much better.”

“We’ve been to a lot of breakfast places on the Island and Red Rooster tops them all with a very friendly staff, great food and portions, very clean and relaxing atmosphere. A definite must go to, we’ll be back for sure. We met the owner and his daughter. They both genuinely care about the customers and their staff.”

“If you haven’t been to this restaurant you need to go. I would describe this restaurant as an eclectic and industrial vibe with great ambiance. Our server Sam was phenomenal! He was very attentive, professional, respectful and charming. We went there on July 13th 2024. Our table had the burrata appetizer and the shrimp cocktail. They were plated beautifully and very delicious. I had the special of the day which was cobia over a bed of Parmesan risotto with a lemon beurre blanc sauce and Hericot Verts. I am not a fish fan but I wanted to try something different for a change and I was so happy I did. The fish had trout roe on top and it popped in your mouth and was fantastic. I finished everything on my plate. Sam sold me on it with his description and the chef provided a meal I will never forget. My dining partners had filet mignon, Lobster Madagascar and Schnitzel A’la Holstein. I tried them all and I loved each and everyone of those dishes. I wish I lived in Marco Island so I could go there often.”

“Had a fantastic meal at Joey’s on Marco Island with family and friends! 🌴🍝 We sat outside and the atmosphere was relaxed and beautiful—perfect for a Florida evening.
The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great, and the portions were generous for the price. One of the best touches is their signature garlic knots that come with many of the entrées and salads. They’re so good they deserve their own spotlight!
I ordered the meatball salad, which of course came with one of those amazing garlic knots. Everything was packed with flavor and really satisfying.
Funny side note—I actually took my garlic knot home with me. Later I made my own sauce and meatballs and used the garlic knot in my meatball recipe. The result? Some of the most delicious meatballs I’ve ever made! I’m officially modifying my Florida recipe to say: “Use Joey’s garlic knot.” 😄
If you’re on Marco Island and looking for great Italian food, I highly recommend Joey’s. Five-star restaurant all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Great spot on the beach entrance, the food is actually very good and prety reasonably priced. The staff are always very nice and helpful. The service is pretty fast even though it can get busy. You do need to be a member of MICA to go here which is also nice, keeps it from getting too crazy. Great option for breakfast as well.”

“I wish I took a picture of my dish. I’ve been using Mongolian beef as my judge for Chinese restaurants for decades. Easily eaten it thousands of times at hundreds of restaurants. The Mongolian Beef at KJ was in the top three I’ve ever had. That includes some very high end places in every big city. To find a gem like this in a corner on Marco Island was a wonderful discovery. I’ll be coming back every time I visit the island. The dish was spicy. I asked for as spicy as they make, nothing gets to me anymore, and this was right on the edge of the hottest food I’ve been served in any of the restaurants. The flavors were excellent and the ingredients were top notch.

We also had a few sushi rolls, all fantastic, and the krab rangoons were the best I’ve had in years. You can tell they really care, I made a mistake reading the menu and they fixed it up right away. (On that note order the big giant roll without deep fry and it’s amazing, I just don’t like hot rolls).

I think the owner was the one who took care of that for me and I meant to thank him in person and let him know how amazing that Mongolian beef was, but I didn’t get a chance. Hope you read this review! I can’t wait to be back!”

“Went with my wife last night to Joey D’s on Marco Island. Sat at the insanely busy bar. Ordered our drinks and a large pizza 1/2 plain 1/2 specialty. Turns out they made the 1st pizza all specialty then remade a pizza all specialty 1/2 no cheese. So no pizza for about an hour. Did we care? NOPE. If that’s the worst thing this week then it was a really good week. What did the owner do? Even though we said it’s totally fine, he brought us out a large specialty and a large plain and didn’t charge us a penny for our pizza or 3 drinks!!!! So bartender got a $40 tip and we will be customers for life. The craziest part is we were laughing and truly didn’t care. It’s just pizza!!! Thanks you guys!!!”

“We didn't have a great experience here. From the street this place looks nice and inviting as it does inside as well. The parking is tight and you are directed to exit on the north side of the building. We went on a cold night so the big doors were closed trapping in all the noise
There were some very loud people at the bar and next to us. We weren't able to hold a conversation. Maybe on a night where people can be outside would soften the noise. We were able to get a table at 6:30 on a Sunday night. While service was good we didn't care for the food. Lack of sauce on enchiladas. Nachos covered in lettuce and very bland tasting. Chicken quesadillas were ok. I didn't care for the black beans and rice that came with it. Nice staff.”

And for the third time, and it did not disappoint tonight fir 💗 day. the Brussels sprouts appetizer was amazing. The cocktails were very good, and we got happy hour prices. both of our entrees were so good grouper oscar and hogfish lagoon. Michael was our server, and everything was just delightful. Be sure to make a reservation!”
