“Upon entering the restaurant, we anticipated a subpar dining experience. To our delight, both the service and cuisine exceeded our expectations. Relying on the Google rating proved to be a wise choice. Our main courses included the Burger, Picanha, and Ribeye, all impeccably prepared and bursting with flavor. The sides, particularly the brussel sprouts and french fries, were exceptional, with the fries standing out as some of the best we've ever had. However, attention is needed regarding the lack of ambiance, overly bright lighting, and peculiar music selection. Improving these elements could transform the space into a cozy and inviting environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience.“
“We were the only non-Americans that evening in March and were very welcome in this very nice concept: garden at the back of the store, we order drinks at the bar and the meal is sent directly to the food truck. We were even able to choose the drink to order after a little tasting… honestly the two bartenders were super nice! The setting is really cool. There was entertainment with a quiz and the atmosphere was really cool.“
“We were blown away with Square Grouper. Not only was the food the best meal we’ve had in the Keys but our server Rob was fantastic. He was extremely accommodating and was able to answer any questions about the menu with patience. We would 10/10 go back, recommend it to anyone, and ask for Rob!“
“Midway Cafe has become our last place to stop by on our way back home in the last tree yrs .We love the food, the service, and the colorful place, plus it is pet friendly ! For families like us, they travel with our furry friends, which is a plus.“
“My friends and I LOVED THIS SPOT!Easy to park, beer selection is very local and you can only find them in Monoroe County.Super clean establishment, employees are extremely nice and helpful. They allow you to taste their beers before purchasing the one you'd like. My favorite was the Iguana Bait! They also have merchandise with such vivid colors, too cute. They have an outdoor area with Live Music.Location is absolutely beautiful, super chill vibes could spend the whole day drinking great beer but maybe when the weather is not as hot as today.Wow it felt like a sauna in their patio! They have a little cute stage with acoustic light pop music singing.Highly recommended and you can definitely bring your dog along with you!“
“Amazing! The staff was excellent, friendly, funny and attentive! Our waitress was CeCe (spelling?) and she rocked! Us and our friends were craving pizza and this place did NOT disappoint. The drinks (wine and beer) were wonderful! Selection is great! We ordered 2 pizzas--meat lovers and a split pizza: vegetarian and Hawaiian -- special orders -- no problems. The toppings are plentiful! We also ordered a side of sauce and it was HUGE! Key Lime Pie is delightful -- definitely in our top 5 of Key Lime Pies -- and we would know as we travel a lot and try Key Lime Pie at many places. Overall the food was amazing! The atmosphere was shaded and lovely. Perfect place to sit and get away from it all. Go check this place out. They are known for the pizzas and now we know why. Also prices are good too.“
“Food was excellent, and the service pretty good. The atmosphere wasn’t what we were expecting- we thought there’d be a view but for lunch, you’re on an open air porch that’s on the canal and there is not a view. It does look like they have seating with the ocean view but it wasn’t open when we came.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly- they have a kids menu.“
“This place is a little bit hidden, but I'm glad I stopped by! I got a peanut butter smoothie and the chicken teryaki! The smoothie was great. I've had better chicken teryaki elsewhere but it was still good and came out quick. The place is is tucked in the middle of a bunch of cute stores to walk around and look at. I would honestly stop by again just for the atmosphere! The staff was very friendly and attentive definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!“
“Incredible! Ended up talking to the owners for quite a while...ingredients are of the highest quality and the they definitely take tremendous pride in the food they are putting out! If you need a smoothie, bowl or some fresh pressed juice you HAVE to stop here. 10 out of 10 recommend.“
“I will say I never had mango ketchup before but this lady was right the burger was perfect and cooked to perfection, French fries where crispy and again that mango ketchup was amazing ? ? ? ? will definitely be back to try them wings!!!Parking: Get there early and you will be good just abit tight parking for bigger trucks!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access just ask!!!“
“We had dinner here and it was amazing. We sat on the balcony and had a beautiful view of the water. It wasn't too loud and a good choice for our anniversary dinner. I had grouper for the first time and it was delicious. My husband got the skirt steak.Service was prompt and polite. We were warned that this is a busy restaurant so we went early. That is probably my only word of caution.“
“Great experience when we stopped by! The woman working was on her own and killed it taking care of customers and doing all the things, and she was super sweet. We had a lobster roll and the Cuban and really enjoyed both. It was a great experience all around and a great start to our first time visiting the keys. If we ever make it back we’ll definitely stop by again :)“
“We were reviewing a lot where to go to dinner if we visited the Keys. Within the recommendations we saw this place. The truth is we liked it a lot. Ample parking. A spectacular view. Places to walk. The service was very good, the food was exquisite. The price was very affordable. And the place was very full.People still prefer it because of the prices and the flavor. When you go to the Keys without a doubt you should stop by and enjoySuper recommended.“
“Very good prices on the lobster when it is lobster season. If you are coming back from key west it is a great stop to bring back lobster instead of paying higher prices in the supermarkets or when eating out. Will recommend to bring a cooler to store as there aren’t many places nearby to buy one that will fit the lobsters while you travel home.“
“We had lunch at this restaurant and loved the food, service (excellent!) and drinks. We then were able to use the sun beds and relax by the ocean. That was a marvellous add-on!The only reason for lower mark on the atmosphere is because the place lacked class a bit (e.g. cocktail glasses were made of hard plastic rather than glass). It has so much potential with such a view and ocean front location!Vegetarian options: Matecumbe salad“
“Went to Kaiyo last night while working nearby. The Tuna Nachos were awesome!I had the Coco Loco and it was delicious. Lots of folks there and it took 20 minutes to get some more water after the bottle was taken away but overall a great place. A premium place with a Premium price.“
“We started with the Oysters, Rock Shrimp tempura, the ceviche and Chicken wings. The oysters were really good. They felt fresh. The shrimp came with a sweet sauce and the perfect mayo sauce. Someone in the table said it reminded them to the one in Nobu (I've never been there so I wouldn't know) but that's just how good it was. I hated the ceviche, it tasted weird. For entrees we ordered the Florida crunch salad, Spicy tuna roll and Yellowtail roll. We requested the cucumber removed on the spicy tuna roll and for some weird reason the server said they couldn't. Both rolls were delicious. Pretty simple, just how we enjoy it. The salad has all this crunchy items on it, that you actually enjoy eating healthy. Also the blackened shrimp that we added to the salad was $10 usd and it literally came with 3. For dessert we ordered the Banana Fried Roti and I promise you I will come back just for this. Vibes in there were amazing, they had live music. It's a nice, clean and well kept place. Our server kind of sucked. The place is on the pricey side, but just like everything else in The Keys.“
“You can't complain here, the breakfast is really rich and the location right on the jetty is also nice.Parking: There are many free parking spaces available, but these are already full from around 12 p.m., so it's better to be here by 10 a.m. at the latest.“
“What a great find. I've been visiting the Florida Keys for over 40 years and finding good new spots to eat is a treat. Marker 88 doesn't dissapoint. The food was very good. My crispy fish sandwich was spot on. My guests had casedias, a rice bowl, and some wings. They enjoyed their meals too. The service was a little slow but the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is over the top. Beautifully nestled on the water, this place is fun just to take in the sights. I recommend giving this place a shot. I know I will be back to try something different.“
“Starting off i called in a reservation for 200, they said no, so we decided to show up as a group of 50. they forced us to sit on ugly boats, rundown trucks, and even the roof. there was a checkers table but not checkers! we had to play with woodchips! we found wood chips and mosquitoes in our drinks. we began our dining experience at noon and did not leave until 11 at night due to the inexperienced addidas soccer girl waitress. we had to brew our own beer, and i even went to the ocean to catch my shrimp because the cook was too slow. all 50 of us needed to use the bathroom but we got lost and ended up in the veterinarians next door. they accidentally neutered us!! we are still recovering and will never be able to expand our families due to this tragic experience. food was great! great service! they even brought me my food while i was getting neutered!“
