“Excellent food, staff, owners, and atmosphere. The bruschetta was amazing and I probably could have just that for dinner. Food was delivered piping hot and we really loved the pasta and sauce. My son ordered a calzone and it was huge! He’ll get 3 meals out that one. We had chicken parm and veal parm and again, loved the taste and the chicken and veal were cooked perfectly - so moist. Music was lovely and in the background so you can have conversation without competing with the music. As stuffed as we were, we still tried some desserts - dipped macaroons, berry tiramisu and cannoli. We felt well attended as wait staff and management checked to make sure we were happy. Absolutely will go back again and work our way down the menu“

“My wife decided we would try a new restaurant with our kids tonight, and we are so glad that we did! The pizza was absolutely amazing! Fresh/never frozen topings, home/hand made dough, and fresh baked to order. Never tasted pizza that good before. The homemade salad dressing was delicious. After finishing my salad I had to drink the little bit of dressing left because it was so good. I'm not normally a tomato eater, but I was tonight with that dressing and the freshly chopped ingredients. While you could feel the pride and love cooked into the food, the best part was meeting Ms. Sara and her grandson Mario. From the time we walked in we were family, even though we had never been there before. By the time we were done with our meal and ready to go, Ms. Sara and our kids were hugging each other bye. This restaurant is so much more than a restaurant, it is a personal experience that makes you feel loved.“

“Really good pizza restaurant. It has a bit of a hole in the wall vibe, but the food and service are great. I had the Special Pizza without black olives. “We had a business lunch at Taverna in San Marco yesterday and I have to say I was impressed with the service, food and ambiance of the restaurant. We had reservations so we were greeted and seated right away. They have outdoor seating on a front patio and it was a beautiful day but we chose to eat inside. It was pretty crowded but it was never so loud we couldn't hear each other speak. Our waitress was right there to take our drink order as we waited for the third member in our party to arrive. Once everyone was there we all ordered lunch. I ordered a beat salad with no extra protein, my husband ordered a chicken sandwich with a side salad and our colleague ordered a pasta dish. We chatted and I was surprised how quickly our food arrived. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was pretty intuitive, she realized that we were having a little business meeting so she cleared our dishes out of the way and was around to check in and refill our drinks. I want to return and try some fresh pasta the next time we come back. It really looked delicious. I highly recommend Taverna we had a great experience and I know you will too!“

“We love Vito's! It's my daughter's absolute favorite restaurant. Franco makes every visit super special. The food is delicious (the kids love the pizza) and I highly recommend anything off of the seasonal/special menu. “Dr. Courtney Whiting is the best that I have ever had. There is no doubt in my mind she cares about my girl. She always does what’s best for her even getting down on the floor with her to make her feel at ease. Holly has always been wonderful to as a nurse. I am 100% confident in their care for Izzy. “I would rate this place: 5/5 decor 5/5 cocktails 3/5 food It has potential but it is at a very strange location: a random strip mall behind Bally's Fitness in Southside. You won't see it off the main road. You see the valet parking sign but there's no need for valet when there's an entire empty parking lot at a strip mall where most of the stores are closed. It would be better suited in Downtown Jacksonville riverfront to revamp our downtown area or San Marco/Riverside area. It is a beautiful space that you would see in Miami including the prices. Tip: dress to impress in a classy way or to a buisness meeting. Don't show up in jeans, Tshirt and sneakers.“

“We lived in the area when Toscana first opened, before FB, and it was amazing. Our first time was for our 3rd wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for better food and service. Went went at least once a month after that until we moved from the area. The owner, who waited on us on multiple occasions was always so thoughtful. We were pregnant with our first, as was his wife and, and we spent a lot of time talking about our soon to be children. We moved before our son was born, but whenever we think back on our time in Jacksonville, this restaurant and its owner, always come to mind. “First time to Zacs. We had thin a Veggie & 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese. They are FABULOUS!!!! Their service is really great. Atmosphere is homey & the food is wonderful love, Love, LOVE their pizza sauce! I have to say this is the best pizza I've had in a very long time!! If you're in the area, or even if you're not, Zac's is definitely worth the trip!!.“

“We like to come here every once in awhile to get pasta and sandwiches. We got some pasta, a pizza, and a hot sandwich and everything was awesome except for the sandwich. Normally when we get it, it is fresh meat and delicious. But this time it seemed like the meat was canned and almost lunchable quality. Kind of a bummer because everything else was awesome. Unbelievably good.The last time I was in I ordered two slices of Hawaiian pizza. I was surprised to see bits of pineapple and not chunks of sliced pineapple. The bits did not have a sweet pineapple flavor and the ham appeared to be typical Tavern ham bits and just doesn't work well for added flavor. Alex made us great drinks and provided super service to us throughout the night. There is a super nice outdoor patio where we spent the evening. The live music made it so much fun! He quickly offered several items and she settled on some plain flat bread, which were given to her immediately. It helped so much to get something in her stomach. How kind and caring.
