“10/10! The Berkwood St Louis Sticky Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful that we found ourselves talking about them for days. The Hamachi Carpaccio was another standout, with the ponzu sauce and kefir lime oil perfectly complementing the yellowtail. We also enjoyed the Garlic Togarashi Edamame and Shrimp Tempura. I loved the Bee My Honey cocktail—it had just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. My fiancé ordered the Kabooki Old Fashioned and liked the mix of ginger syrup and cherry bark vanilla bitters.

The restaurant itself has a contemporary vibe, with low lighting and an intimate atmosphere. The service was great, and we’ll definitely be returning.”

“Husband and I were visiting Orlando for the first time and came across Maxine's on Shine. It is such an absolutely incredible charming restaurant! The food was outstanding, with generous and delicious portions, great prices, lots of options and vegan options and drinks but above all -- the hospitality was exceptional! From the greeting from the hostess, discussion with the bartender to the server, busser and owners, they all truly made us feel like a local to the city and appreciative of our business. You really can see the passion from Kirt and Maxine (owners) as it really shines through in every detail in their food, decor and ambiance of the restaurant and you can see that same passion in their staff! My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday night and had such a wonderful experience that we simply had to go back on Sunday for the brunch before leaving town. Truly an AMAZING experience and such wonderful people! 100 STARS!!!”

“My wife and were anxiously waiting for this restaurant to open. We went this Friday (May 5th) and were not disappointed. First, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The ambient music was at a perfect level with a definite South Beach feel. We interacted with several servers and each of them provided excellent service. The menu has enough diversity to satisfy anyone's tastes. To start, we had an appetizer that consisted of scallops covers in parmesan cheese that was melted at the table with a torch. For our entrees, I had a beef dish (Lomo Saltado), while my wife had a pork dish (Arroz chaufa with pork). Everything was delicious. They have quite a few specialty drinks in their cocktail menu. We each had a different drink and both were very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Piscos and look forward to going back.”

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."”

“We came rolling into Orlando after a long day of traveling! We were all very hungry for some good pizza! V Pizza did not disappoint us! Our 13 year old granddaughter kept saying it was some of the best pizza she'd ever eaten! As previous owners of a pizza restaurant, we thought our pizzas were pretty amazing! The staff was very friendly and eager to serve us. The restaurant was clean and had very modern decor. We will probably go back before returning home!”

“Great service. Well-trained and attentive staff. Brazilian food, buffet style, just like we are used to. However, there is no option to eat by weight in the restaurant, you either pay a fixed price and eat as much as you want or put it on the scale to take away.
There is an option for a la carte appetizers, the picanha is worth it for the price.”

The atmosphere was amazing and the service was superb! Katrina, our server provided detailed explanations of the menu and gave great recommendations. Even before we entered, Peter, the valet, welcomed us like we were old friends. He recommended Ana’s Cosmo, which was divine. The meal came in “waves” and each wave seemed interchangeable and complemented the previous one. We wanted for nothing the entire evening. Christopher, the general manager, was attentive and made us feel at home. Overall, it was a lovely evening and we will definitely return—only next time we will book a room at the Wave Hotel and make it a proper staycation.”

I also recommend making the reservation for the Kappo bar, they took amazing care of my spouse and I for our anniversary.

Almost 3 years of eating here and the menu is always updating with new dishes to try! The meat and fish are fresh and so delicious!! Also, the liquor selection and dri k menu is superb. There is no other restaurant like it and nowhere else will give you the same flavors, quality, and ambiance of a Japanese restaurant.

“Denny’s is Denny’s. It was after a meeting that ended at about 8pm, so a few of us went to have coffee and ended up eating.

I opted for the Cali Club (turkey, swiss, tomato, avocado) but I didn’t want the ham & bacon. They acclimated accommodated me by adding more swiss and avocado. It was good. It even had more turkey than I wanted, it comes stacked nicely enough for someone who does.

The service was actually wonderful and they were quite attentive, although there only a few people there at the time.

It’s a good stop for an impromptu quick meal.”

“I will say this. First off, Estela mas such a great and adorable waitress with a big smile on her face.
The ambiance was nice and my wife and I like the vivid atmosphere of a typical Brazilian restaurant (I'm a brazilian and my wife hispanic).
The beer was cold and they were delivered promptly (The house wasn't crowed at all).
My only disappointment was the food portion. It was awfully undersized for the price. $6.00 for each small portion of regular sides of rice, beans, salad, etc, is just outrageous and $40 for a churrasco mix with barely any red meat (there were mostly chicken and pork).
I will still come back when I am NOT hungry just looking to drink a beer and eat a simple appetizer though.”

We are absolutely devastated we won’t be able to get this food at home in the UK as we enjoyed it so so much. Could be cut with a butter knife, cook to perfection, and so tasty We also had sides of brussels sprouts , lobster macaroni and potatoes au gratin. I returned today for lunch and boy am I glad I did. The fish and gouda grits were supreme. You ever eat something and you feel guilty that other people aren’t eating the same thing. Well that’s the experience I just had. I have to get my parents here immediately. I cannot wait to try something new the next time I order. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the cornbread which is a lie. That is delicious cake, just missing frosting. ?”

The coffee is simply amazing, you can tell they use high-quality beans, and the baristas are skilled in crafting the perfect pistachio latte.

The food menu is quite impressive, with a variety of delicious options ranging from Açaí, Sandwiches to Smoothies and more!

“Quesadillas, tacos, tamales, and more! Today, I'll make my 8th visit to Taquería y Antojitos El Zarape Mexicano at 3604 Curry Ford Rd. for what I have found to be the best Mexican food in Otrlando. It's a food truck parked on the corner of a convenience store! And, it is only open on Saturday and Sunday! (12 Noon-10PM). You know it's good if I wait until the weekend to get my Mexican on! There is a bit of a language barrier as the owners speak mostly Spanish and understand some basic English. And with three quarters of college Spanish under my belt, I am barely able to utter, "Como esta Usted?". But, the menu has lots of pictures so pointing works. The best part is the food. Second best part: the prices. $2.50 tacos made fresh. By far the best quesadilla I've ever enjoyed. As a friend says, "They're legit" Great burittos! Huaraches. They have outdoor covered seating or you can get your Mexican to go.”

“I've been visiting Freddy's kitchen for 6 months once or twice a week. The food there is excellence. The Brown stew, chicken oxtails, curry chicken, the made to order, even the patties. This is one of my favorite spots, small Jamaican. Good food restaurants. I've tried many others in Orlando. This is one of the best ones I found. The service is top-notch place is always cleaned. I recommend this Jamaican restaurant to anyone originally from New York. So I know jamaican food from queens, just like home.”

“We thought how can this place have 4.8 stars? So, we found out why. We went to the Orlando Farmer’s Market and found the food items there really expensive. So we went to find a nearby restaurant and found Dada. What a find! We really liked their buffet. The dishes were really nice and fresh. They kept being refreshed and filled food to replenish. They had 2 desserts and my favorite, gulab jaman were outstanding. I added a masala chai to the meal and it too was perfect. Of course they offer a rather large menu of items for dinner as well. We have not had an Indian Buffet in a really long time and the food was really good. Give them a try and park behind the building as there are lots of spots, then walk around to the front door. YUMM!”
