“We discovered this tiny gem when looking for a quick bite. It is a waterfront location tucked away off the main road. The owners (I think) were extremely pleasant and all the food appeared to be made from scratch. The sandwiches were absolutely enormous and were served on homemade bread, sliced thick. My husband and I shared a breakfast sandwich and took a sandwich to share while kayaking later. Both were delicious! We will definitely go back to try some of the desserts.”

“We had lunch at Blue Dog yesterday April 24 and OMG it was amazing. Having lived here 7 years in Florida we’ve been to Blue Dog many times but never ate outside on their patio. Our server Karen Bacalla was certainly in her wheelhouse. Karen was serving multiple tables and personalizing everyone on the patio made it like a party atmosphere and nobody knew each other when we sat down. We felt like VIP’s Our hats off to the chef, the peel & eat shrimp appetizer was huge and the old bay seasoning never disappointed. My coconut rum butter sauced mahi mahi with pina colada rice was absolutely the best very delicious. My husband had grouper bites to die for, Karen recommended that as well as the She crab soup and it’s a MUST have dish.Thank you Karen and Blue Dog for serving such wonderful dishes and having an amazing atmosphere ? we’ll be back for sure ? ?.”
“THE BEST frozen dessert place. We were visiting the area and called into the Frozen Flip Flop on a Monday, they were closed. But the owner was dropping something off and invited us in and served us anyway. What a lovely person, gorgeous froyo and a great array of toppings. Go here, you won't regret it.”

“Spectacular! Whole belly fried clams are difficult to find in southwest Florida. Most places want to offer clam strips that are little slivers of clam with a heavy batter coating, then fried crisp. Mainely Seafood knows clams and how to make them. The full belly Ipswich bivalves have a very light coating and fried quickly to keep them tender. The flavor is clamolishious! They can be ordered either as a meal for $24 or $22 for the 'APP'. Both have a 1/2 pound of clams. My wife ordered the meal which includes cole slaw and french fries. The 'APP' is just clams. I selected the Grouper Fingers Meal ($16) which came with 3 very nice thick filets of grouper fried with the absolute thinnest batter ever that let the fish taste come through. Wow, they were great. And their fries! I'm sure these are made using the double fry method as they were crispy on the outside, pillowy soft inside, served piping hot right out of the fryer seasoned just right. Clearly the cole slaw was just as good as we left nothing in our baskets when we were done. We did bring home a slice of Key Lime Pie ($4.00) and found it to not have that good lime kick. It was more of a cheesecake with a thick buttery crust. Good, but not great. Fountain soft drinks run $2.50, bottled beer runs $3.25 to $4.50. No beers on tap. It's a small place located in a strip mall in a quiet area and is very reminiscent of little seafood shops we've visited in New England. Right at 6:00 on a Wednesday evening most of the tables were full and take out business seemed pretty brisk. A big shout out to Jenna our server. She steered us right on our first visit there and we're looking forward to her smile and pleasantness on our return visits.”

“We love going to The Perfect Cup so much, we took our new neighbor there for brunch today. Catherine was our server today. We’ve had her as a server many times before. Catherine is a nice young woman, always smiling. She’s very good at her job. I always recommend The Perfect Cup to people looking for a new place to check out for casual lunch/brunch. Excellent food, fabulous coffee. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I was told it's a great little place to stop at the center there in pine Island and so we did before we went to go fishing I love tacos but it was a little windy that day so I had to make sure my ingredients didn't blow away at the tables LOL but it was very good!”

“Located in downtown Cape Coral area in a plaza with variety of food options. Great atmosphere and interior design is beautiful! Great for taking pictures for the media. The lemonades are delicious not too sweet or sour but the right amount of flavor and the milk tea taste great! Staff are welcoming and fast service. Definitely recommend if you want to grab a refreshing drink.”
“A phenomenal dining experience. I couldn't be more pleased. Food was excellent and presentation was perfect. Great service and absolutely stunning atmosphere. You could not ask for more!”

“Awesome little place to grab a bite. Has the seaside shack feel to it. We went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hog wings appetizer and the mango salsa topped mahi fish sandwich flaked apart and was nice and moist. We will definitely be back to try their famous smash burger!”

“I've been to many Michelin star restaurants and this is right up there with them. Granted, the ambiance is very casual and makes you a little Leary of the food quality when you walk in. That being said, there were 2 waitresses, 2 dishwashers, and a chef. They hustled and were making magic happen. We started off with the corn crab chowder, which was hands down the best corn crab chowder I've ever eaten. The chef told us he used king crab and blue crab in it. It was delicious. We also had the stone crab claws to start which were enormous and very fresh. For dinner my husband had the black grouper special and I had the twin lobster tails. Both were very very good. I loved the mashed potatoes and asparagus too. For dessert we had a slice of peanut butter pie. Again, it was great. The place doesn't serve alcohol, but is BYOB so we ran back to the house for a bottle of wine. It was funny to read some of the other reviews that had an ounce of negativity about people being disappointed with kids getting vegetables or that they didn't like their pasta dish. Get a life people! If you want your kids to be healthy or you can fathom eating seafood at a seafood restaurant, this place will be well worth it. Make sure you call/text early enough to get a reservation as spots fill up super fast.”

“I visited this location while on vacay and the owners and staff were absolutely fabulous! My acai bowl had a lot of vibrant, natural flavors that didn't leave an artificial or sugary aftertaste. Really wish I had one near me!”

“What brings us back to this place over and over again is the views! SWFL charm through and through! The food is always fantastic and very consistent. I ordered the shrimp and grits this time with the blue crab and corn chowder soup as a side. This chowder is FANTASTIC! I could hardly share with my husband it was so good, sweet and so savory. Forget the cup, go with the bowl! It’s he shrimp and grits were so good I forgot to take pictures. Just cheesy enough to not over power the shrimp flavor. High five to the chef. The food is more pricy, however you know it’s going to be good and consistent so it’s worth it. The staff is extremely professional and patient. This is a restaurant for a romantic date or a celebration. I’ve also gone here for a wedding! Yes it’s that beautiful! Totally recommend a sunset timeframe as you can see from the pictures.Parking: We were able to find a spot but have struggled in the past. However this time they had a parking lot monitor so maybe that’s the difference.”

“First glance its very cute. When you walk inside it is very small. There were about 15 options for ice cream and many more smoothie, sundae and milkshake options. The shop, along with all the other stores, closed at 6. It should be open much later especially during spring break. I say this because it was very busy and if it were open later it would have so much more business. Needless to say it was a great experience and great ice cream. Was it worth $20 for a waffle cone and sundae. No. But I believe a 4 star us fair for an honest business with hard working employees.”

“When we got there, there wasn't much parking. Which I understand for a small town local business that got hit by the hurricane ? and is trying to rebuild as well as possible. But, there were many bees, no air conditioning, and an "eh" vibe to it. ?. 3 of us got the pulled pork. It was quite dry and in clumps. But, still great tasting. The potato salad was amazing ?! The beans..... Were interesting....Tasting.....A bit spicy And thick....But good ??.....We got there and the entrance was through back which had many wasps flying around. We had to walk through the whole building through the back just to get to the register, where you order and pay at the same place/time. The whole building had a very interesting vibe......it was quite expensive as well. For 3 pulled pork sandwiches ? (each with a side), a brisket sandwich ?, a meal of brisket with a side, 2 beers, and 2 waters, it was $91.85!!!”
“So, I ran in just two minutes before closing time as the door was unlocked. As I expected, things were shut down and the staff was ready to go home. But, they were kind and gracious and scooped my single scoop of cappuccino chip. The ice cream was great and the kindness of the staff made for a good experience.”

“Sisters! Wow! Great food. Fun outdoor atmosphere. Deck dining with umbrellas for shade. Indoor atmosphere seems old school and clique-would recommend seating outside. Menu has great Italian fare offerings. Lots of apps, salads and entrees. Our server Jax was amazing!! It was a busy Saturday. Takeout was happening and all tables were full! We were a large party and he more than accommodated all of our requests, he was generous, helpful and happy. The other servers and hostesses we encountered looked miserable and acted so- we were so pleased to have Jax! Calzone, pizza, tuna salad, Cesar salad, chicken Parmesan, all tasted great! The dipping oil is very tasty to accompany the bread prior to the meal. Would definitely come back here next time we are in Boca Grande”

“Went in bar one afternoon because it looked very edgy. What a find. Very old Florida with a neat history. Tried to make a reservation but they would booked. Called the next day and had a cancellation for dinner. Best in Boca. The environment is beautiful and food and service is superior. If you are in the area and can get in don’t miss”

“I didn't visit the inn, but did visit the restaurant. The burger was delicious! My mom's rueben was a giant portion & she loved it. The food is VERY pricy ($19.95 for a burger and side of cole slaw. They charged $1.50 for pickles! Lots of upcharges) The service was okay. The server seemed less than happy to be there. Not terrible, just not great considering the pricing. Highlights were the beautiful animals (birds, tortoise, lizards). Also, the delicious icecream, which is homemade. The burger was smoky and delicious.”
