My boyfriend has been to Haiti and I’ve been to Jamaica and this place had a nice blend of both.We had the legume stew with rice and beans; the Ke Bef (oxtail) and the chicken pate. Everything was amazing. Nice blend of spices.This was my first time trying oxtail and I will definitely be eating it again. It was so tender and the sauce was incredible.Jonas, the owner, was so nice and chatted with us during our visit. “We were in Tampa running an errand, so we decided to Google Maps a Caribbean food place near where we were and picked this place from the list. It's a tiny to-go only little place in little strip center. However, the food was Big on flavor and cooked perfectly. We got the lg goat and the lg ox-tail. It was enough to feed 4 people and was delicious. We will definitely eat there again. Oh and I would've taken pictures, but we were eating like pigs before I thought about it!“
“Derek was our waiter on Saturday when we came in for brunch. Derek was friendly, very familiar with the menu, brought our food out once it was cooked. He was personable, and cordial. There were 7 of us dining and he was on top of his job with his A game.Parking: We arrived about 15 minutes before Madame Fortune opened and had no problem finding parking. We parked in the lot behind the restaurant.“
“What a treasure! We stopped to this restaurant on our way to a cruise out of Tampa. The server was very friendly and suggested some great entrees for us to try. Everything was great but those oysters were definitely something to talk about forever. They were fried perfectly. I don't like my seafood to be fried too hard with a lot of batter and these were absolutely perfect.The fried calamari was delicious and the hush puppies were great also.I will absolutely stop by again the next time I am in the city.“
“The cabbage, jerk chicken and mac & cheese were delicious. My only concern is what they consider to be 3 pieces of chicken. I was given a drum stick and a thigh cut in half, which is 2 pieces of chicken. The food was good but be carefulwatch what you are paying for.“

“Ordered the twice baked turkey wings, collards, cabbage, and candied yams from Uber. Everything was top tier and seasoned to perfection. The meat fell off the bone on the turkey, the collards had bite and cabbage had crunch and the yams were fresh and actually candied. I would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to try it again. Hope I can get My order in early enough to get some of that mac & cheese when I double back.“

“Stayed at an AirBnb a block away and just happened upon this place. The food is fantastic! Ate several times during the few days we were there. Tried their cuban sandwich, several breakfast items, and their cuban coffee. Everything was just fantastic.“

Our waiter was amazing also and well educated about the menu and drinks and the amount of heat. “I’ve come here almost every Sunday after church for a beef patty. They treat you like family once you are there. I love the atmosphere and the food is delicious. Thank you Tracy for the food and love you show me and my wife every time we come in. I like the place so much I’m writing this review while they are closed.“
