“Ordered take-out. Got the blackened shrimp platter with seasonal vegetables and chicken sausage jambalaya. It was delicious. The dozen shrimp were cooked perfectly! The seasonal vegetables were good with just the right amount of seasoning. The jambalaya had lots of chicken and andouille sausage. Yum, I will certainly be back before my vacation is over. Service was quick and courteous. Highly recommended!“
“March 29,2024DELICIOUS!Wonderful service and excellent food!Reservations are a must. We were a group of 12 but were split into a table for eight and one of four but we were informed of this in advance.Everything was top notch. Our server was very attentive yet we were not rushed. Our meals were beautifully presented and where applicable prepared as requested (steaks were perfect). There are many gluten free options and a few vegetarian options as well.The pianist, Scott, was the perfect touch to a relaxed atmosphere.There is a full bar and an extensive wine selection.The handicap lift was not working but there is a scissor lift in the back that was able to accommodate members of our group who could not navigate the stairs. Big plus that the owners had this available.It’s pricey but well worth the visit. I look forward to visiting again.“
“Late evening dinner after watching the sunset at Captiva. Great service, food had great flavors and presentation. We enjoyed the pizza, chicken Parm, fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccolini and a fish stew special of the night. Highly recommended for families And anyone visiting the area. “Wow! Another great experience at Traders. While the prices are a little high, it's all worth it. Many of our party of 8 got the grouper special and raved about it. The bisque and gumbo was also outstanding as was the spinach salad with chicken. The cocktail "pours" were super generous and worth the price.Peter Redpath was singing and having been there before to hear him, it did not disappoint. If you like Buffett, Croce, Simon and Garfunkle and James Taylor type songs you have to come to Traders for Peter. Obviously we will be back.“
“My wife and I went here in the first week of January 2024. We're from Fort Lauderdale and I'm working on Sanibel Island. We ordered the Shrimp White Pizza, the Chicken Wings, the Meatloaf, and the NE Clam Chowder to go. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We got chicken wings from two other places and didn't like either. The wings at Sanibel Grill were awesome.“
“this place now calls itself the BRGR restaurant as it has renewed itself after recovery from the hurricane Ian as part of the Sanibel Island Resort. They place is beautiful and a new favorite of mine. Had a Black and Bleu burger (relates to the name of the restaurant) with cole slaw and it was excellent! Very high quality, done just right, tasted wonderful and included bacon in the burger. Tried fries from one of our party and they were exceptional, great taste and crunch. Our server was friendly and took great care of our party. we parked our bikes at the rack behind the restaurant in the area where the parking lot leads back to palms and passes their pool (with bar) toward the path to the beach where they have lounge chairs that they furnish to guests on the beach that has recently had its sand replenished by the island. A great visit, we'll be back.“

Stop in after 12 noon for fat filets of black grouper, swordfish, tuna, and Chilean sea bass. Pick from 4 different preps of shrimp AND filet mignon! Ask Valco for special order status on takeout fish. Prices are better than competitors! Remember your sauces, seasonings, and fresh clams prepped for soup!“
“First time trying and my shrimp scampi was amazing! Lots of shrimp. The sourdough was great and the wait staff was knowledgeable and very attentive! We will be back! So we want back 3 days later and got a ribeye and the strip. Both cooked perfectly and seasoned very well!“
