“I made my pick-up order here while hungry and waiting for my dentist appointment; not only did they finish and prepare the food in a timely manner but they even called me 2x before I went to pick it up (appointment ran longer). When I finally got to try to food at home, it was still pretty warm. Flavor wise, EVERYTHING WAS THERE!!! I ordered the Sopa Soy Kao and the Pollo Chi Jau Kay. The crispy skin on the chicken dish was still crispy and didn’t get soggy by the time I arrived home. The breading was perfectly seasoned and the meat wasn’t over cooked. The sopa was also relatively warm by the time I got home. The sopa had a wonderful ratio of Soy Kao to noodles and broth. The soy kao’s were pretty generous in size and were well seasoned. The broth was very light bodied but still flavorful enough to compliment the soy kao’s. As I did have it as a to-go order, I didn’t get to have too much of an experience with the attention. But I was contacted by the employee because I had been taking a while to pick up the food, he had called to advise the quality of the food may not be the same since it’s been sitting there. I thought it was a kind gesture from his part. Overall, I really liked the food and will order from here again!“

The laundry room entrance concept was great, and although the sign was not very visible, I can respect the "speakeasy" vibes it gives. Off rip, we were impressed with the tuna tataki - whatever sauce they put that in needs to be sold in stores (lol). But the main event was the escargots, this was our first time trying these and I would've ordered another plate if we hadn't already ordered half the apps menu. We were really impressed with everything. The oxtail dumplings and oxtail tamal en cazuela were honorable mentions, whoever is cooking back there got the sazon on point! The bartender was great, she actually ended up taking care of us the rest of the night since our table wasn't ready when we had arrived so we just sat at the bar. Her expresso martinis were to die for, and the 2 mocktails she made my girlfriend were also delicious. 10/10 experience and will definitely come back and recommend the place. It's not everyday you find a place with a nice ambiance, a tasty selection of food and great craft cocktails outside of Brickell, Wynwood, Beach areas - if you go here you don't have to go that far! Despite the busy crowd, the staff found us a table, which was great.The trio of ceviche was definitely the best part of our meal. It had fresh flavors that we really enjoyed. The plantains and fried corn kernels were also good. The plantains were sweet and the corn kernels were crunchy and tasty, like a corn nut but natural and much less sodium!We decided to share our meals family-style, which worked out well. The Branzino filet was cooked nicely, the rice dish was comforting (our favorite), and the gnocchi with beef medallions was rich and flavorful.The menu was a bit intense, with so many options and flavors to choose from. Also tried their Pescado a lo Macho, very tasty with the yellow pepper sauce that I can'tremember the name for. We also ordered the Tacutacu con Lomo (best thing about it is the rice). I had the Parihuela and it was the least exciting meal on our table, I love seafood, and this particular dish did taste good, but it doesn't come with any sides or vegetables is just pure seafood. So I wouldn't order it again. But, that's presonal preference. All in all, the food was good, the portions are huge, great value (just make sure to order from the menu)! And it's a nice place to eat with the family.“

The presentation was great too and the staff who appeared to be the owners were friendly and knowledgeable.I gave the atmosphere 4 instead of five stars only because the strip mall in which it is located is not very inviting. The restaurant itself is a welcoming but simple and unpretentious eatery, which are not necessarily bad things but do fall shy of the fifth star.“
