“Just scoops in Spring Hill is such a fun local spot! They serve Amish ice cream, hot dogs and recently added soft pretzels, caramel apples and dirty sodas. The ice cream is incredible - super creamy with tons of flavors and topping to choose from. While they have classics like chili dogs and Chicago dogs, what really sets them apart are their rotating specialty dogs! On our visit, the lineup included the Crispy Dill, Garlic Parm Crunch, Smokehouse Bacon BBQ and Bacon Jalapeño. We couldn’t resist and tried all four - absolutely delicious! The Crispy Dill with fried pickle chips is a dream for pickle lovers, and the Bacon Jalapeño (topped with cream cheese!) was like a jalapeño popper on a hot dog 🤤! Each specialty dog was unique and flavorful, and now I can’t wait to see what they come up with next. The atmosphere adds to the experience, with table top games, a claw machine and super friendly staff. Whether you’re craving a quick lunch, a fun dinner or a sweet treat, Just Scoops is definitely worth checking out! A great local gem.”

At the table we ordered 1) the everything omelette 2) lemon blueberry pancakes 3) 6 mammoth muffins to go, and of course coffee! “My husband and I attempted to watch the sunset at Pine Island, apparently half of Spring Hill had the same idea...we missed it and decided to have dinner at Bayport Inn. Even though we were there 15min before closing, the hostess said we could still order and let us pick out a table. Our waitress, Nicole, was amazing! She went above and beyond, even though it was closing time. The food was wonderful and the price was great for the amount of food we received. We highly recommend having dinner here. They also have gift shops in the back. When it gets cooler we will be back to sit on the patio and enjoy some live music. This may be our new favorite place to go. Thank you to Nicole for making our evening memorable, even though we missed the sunset.”

“I have been going to this restaurant for a long time. I know the individuals that run the place. I also know the waitresses. The waitresses are like no others. Each waitress has her own way of dealing with people on a day-to-day basis. That base is depends on the mood and the attitude of the individual that’s approaching this with waitress. The waitresses will give back what they accept. What I mean is you harass them? They’re gonna harass you. They are loving, caring and Upstanding individuals that could work in any restaurant and draw a crowd. These waitresses and the hostess Whoever that may be are at their upmost, professional appearance, professional worth at ethics, and by far the most loving people I’ve ever associated myself with in a restaurant. As far as that goes that I have ever associated myself with in any atmosphere or location. So when I tell you that Jim’s Café. Is of the upmost respected, and the food is at its most excellent quality and quantity. There is no other restaurant in the neighborhood in my opinion that could even come close to the atmosphere, the loving care that one gets when they enter the door, the respected welcoming greeting when they get when they walk through that door and while they are there. It is my opinion that this restaurant is one of the best in Springhill Florida. When I lost my wife 10 months ago, I did not even know about this place. A gentleman from church introduced me to jam’s Café and I’ve been going there. at least once a week since I was introduced to it. I eat out more now that my wife has passed and I have no one to cook for or with. As being a one time chef I can pretty well take care of myself. But it’s no fun or exciting when you’re cooking for yourself. Therefore, I choose to associate with members of the Jim‘s Café. There is no other restaurant like it in my opinion. The food is great. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is like no other and the love and caring that you get from the people within is unexplainable. The love you get when you walk in the door is like you’re walking in and hugging the Lord.. You find no better Love from any finer people than those at Jim’s Café. The waitresses there and the hostess are one to be commended and honored of their service to the people in that area for the service they provide to these people. When talking to the waitresses or the hostess, you Feel like you’re at home talking to a sibling or your parents or your wife or your husband. It’s a one on one conversation. I want to sign off now, but there will be more reviews coming in the future from this individual because I find no fine a restaurant in the area that can match. Or hold up against jam’s café. The Tenders overcooked, just a tad less than burnt. Called Waitress, at first she was ok and said order something else because this is how we have to cook them. I ordered a turkey club to go. I asked for something to put my Coleslaw in. she then rudely told me I couldn't have it. I asked her if she wanted my Biscuit and Frys. She said no. I should have paid for the Burger and left. Why were my Tenders crusted with reminds of hash browns? Why were home frys scattered in our frys? I'm guessing Chicken is being cooked with frys, home frys and hash browns. 🤔 Waitress should have been nicer. My goodness, I didn't burn my Tenders, you're throwing Coleslaw away, would it have been so horrible to say for the inconvenience, I'll be happy to get you a container. I seriously thought I was switching the Tenders for the Sandwich.”

“My partner and I just moved to the area and we are so happy to have found this place. We get takeout from here 1-2 times a month. I’ve had several things from here now. The shrimp and vegetables is great. Prob my fave. They are plump and juicy. The beef and mushrooms is good. The dumplings are good but different than I expected….more won ton style. My favorites are the fried rice and the boneless spare ribs. The orange chicken is what my partner always gets now. The sauce is fantastic. Food is very consistent. Portions last for a few meals not just one.

There is an answering service I think for taking your order but we’ve always got what we ordered. FAST.”

“July 19th, I went through the drive thru after work for my favorite drink and was let down when I found out it was a seasonal drink no longer in season. Rayne took my order & not only did she help me find a substitute for the seasonal drink, but explained to me how to order it from now on, as well as making sure my coffee was up to my standards with a great attitude and personality. She made my entire day with just her bubbly personality and kindness. We need more people like her in the service industry. Thank you for the white chocolate macadamia nut cold brew hack!!! She is an asset to this company, her ability to brighten someone’s mood within a 2 minute interaction in itself is wonderful! Sounds corny to say but please don’t let this world change you! “Took my handycaped wife to this restaurant. They ask us to leave because we had her service dog with us. They said the dog was not allowed to sit next to her where he needed to be to do what he was trained to do. They are not ADA compliant.”

“Stayed at Timber Pines and decided to try this as a take away option. The lady taking the orders was efficient albeit a little brusque.
Ordered sweet and sour pork and Mongolian beef, neither of which were like the photos. The pork came as battered balls like the chicken photo, which was a shame as we didnt want a battered dish. The Mongolian beef looked more like beef, ginger and spring onion, certainly not in a delightful sweet sticky sauce as normal.
Whilst the portion size was good the food wasnt good enough for a return visit.
So sorry, just notk good enough for a better review.”

“I’m embarrassed to say I meant to order from a different restaurant closer to my house after realizing my mistake I headed here. I was pleasantly surprised the food was great, the couple working there were very friendly unlike the other restaurant I went to first. I highly recommend what I got general tso chicken combo pork fried rice, veg low mein, boneless ribs combo pork fried rice, and teriyaki beef all were excellent.”

“Dine in last week was great because you expect to be there a bit and sit down in the ac. I do not suggest to order online, because eventhough you order online you can wait longer than the dine in and drive thru. I ordered online for pick up and still waited 20 minutes past our pick up time while watching drive thru orders get faster service. They even forgot the sauce with the orings and forgot another order of orings and when it cane out after informing then, they still forgot that sauce as well and have tp once again ask for it. The food is great but as far as online and a time crunch, don't do it and expect 20-30 minutes for indoor ordering; they definitely put drive thru first. And no one offered a discount card or an abundant apology for the wait. Instead, you could see the cs worker getting overwhelmed and frustrated and instead of communicating the over abundance in orders and short staffing for the influx, she almost got frustrated with me because I asked for a sauce a 2nd time, and she said she gave me extra, which means she did not listen the first time when I said there wasn't any to begin with. Had to re-infoem her just so she could get me another one for my 2nd order. Staff needs to learn calming techniques in thw work place because frustration only causes mistakes and attitudes.”
