“I can’t say enough great things about Haven.Nothing has been anything less than stellar. The charcuterie selection is amazing and the cheese is possibly the widest selection in Tampa. All of the dishes have been incredible. The menu rotates regularly but I’ve enjoyed oysters, blistered shishito peppers, duck tacos, the chicken thigh and pork belly wrapped asparagus. Even for the $2 taco week special, the size of the duck confit taco was amazing.. they don’t skimp!!The cocktails are delicious and the service is always amazing. I wish I had more room in my belly.. I’d be at Haven every night!“
“Our first time ever and can't wait to come back. Food is incredible, service is superb. Highly recommend! Food allergy - know that they will not only accommodate but come up with an alternative so you can enjoy their delicious meals. Our waiter, Talon, went above and beyond checking and double checking so our kids with allergies can have what she wanted.“
“Went three times while on vacation in Tampa. Of course, this place is in the HEART of little italy area Ybor. So, you EXPECT Italian food will be good here. And oh YES IT IS!!!. And as a bonus, there's a smoking lounge on the second floor! WHAT?!?!? It was perfect!“
“Although I have been in Tampa 2 years now I had never been to the International plaza food court. I recently happened upon this gem Mexican restaurant to entertain a friend that came into town to visit. The wait was short, our bartender Sam was great. We had the pork tacos and the roasted corn. Food was phenomenal but what really really made my day was the service from our waitress Emma. Patient as she waited for our food choices. GREAT very welcoming personality. She checked on us regularly, just overwhelming awesome personality. Funny, and made the whole restaurant experience that much more enjoyable. Emma girl you did your thing.Gina MillerRiverview FlParking: International mall parking lot“
“Derek was our waiter on Saturday when we came in for brunch. Derek was friendly, very familiar with the menu, brought our food out once it was cooked. He was personable, and cordial. There were 7 of us dining and he was on top of his job with his A game.Parking: We arrived about 15 minutes before Madame Fortune opened and had no problem finding parking. We parked in the lot behind the restaurant.“
“Caroline was the most amazing server. We have been to a lot of places in Tampa but have NEVER had this kind of beautiful service. Her counseling on nachos were impeccable. I highly recommend Caroline! . If she is not your server, ask for her! The best nachos Mark has ever had, and he’s from NEW YORK! He’s had his peace! Thank you Caroline you are so sweet and kind. Love, Mark, Lisa, Iz, Rach, Alyssa“
“The food was delicious! It's the perfect place for date nights and just enjoying the ambiance. David, our server was attentive, and the service was top tier. I highly recommend!!We had the creamy clam chowder and jalapeño corn spoon bread for appetizers. Then I ordered the southern fried chicken, with creamed corn and cinnamon sticky bun, and my hubby had the classic burger and french fries –aaammmaazing.“
“Most of the tables are reserved without patrons for hours as we sat on uncomfortable tall bar stools that was disappointing. Octopus was good. Parking was $15 Drinks were good but expensive $16 for a rum- pineapple/curaco.Parking: 16$ Parking is rather difficult and very expensive. Homeless people around the area when I went to pay for parking I had to open my purse and then I was asked for money on the way in and on the way out. I was very nervous because I was by myself and could not figure out the parking. Be careful if wearing heels the pavement is broken and many places and I almost twisted my ankle a few times. I don't like to valet But valet is $10 plus tip“
“Dined here as a last minute option, but it turned out to be the best option. The food was amazing, the restaurant is super chic casual. The restaurant is great for that special occasion, and a chill hangout with friends. To top it off the service was extraordinary! I want to give a super shout out to our waitress Michelle from Rhode Island, she was awesome. She was super friendly, warm and made us feel special. Thank you Michelle for a pleasant evening!Parking: Valet service is great“
“Copper Shaker Ybor is easily my favorite bar in Tampa. From the ambiance to the exceptional craft cocktails to the ever changing food selections, I’ve loved this place since I started coming. The staff is exceptional at what they do & the care for their guests is unmatched. None of my experiences have ever been like the last because every time is the best time. The camaraderie, work ethic, & overall character of Copper Shaker’s team is something that many places could take note of.Different personalities blended to truly create the perfect guest experience! You can count on Abe to make bad jokes but better cocktails (LOL), Angela to know a lot about some of everything while curating, D’Angelo to throw some smooth tricks in on his drinks, Kira to hear what you like and make you something superior, & Jesus to give gracious service with a huge smile.I LOVE IT HEREEEEE!“
“Walked right in and my wife and I got a seat at the bar. Amanda was one of the best bartenders I can remember. From specialty old fashions to top notch suggestions, she delivered. Staff was busy but attentive. We will definitely be back again!“
“Went for the first time for trivia night (on Tuesdays) and it was such a blast! My husband and I sat at the bar and TJ was so friendly and attentive. We had the spicy buffalo wings (fried) and boy were they surprisingly spicy but delicious! The Trivia host was great and the questions were challenging. Can’t wait to return.“
“Hello this is my first time here. I really and thoroughly enjoyed my time at Water and Flour. The staff Brian, Brandon, Karissa, France took great care of me while I sat at the bar uncluding the other staff. They were all so nice and personable. I had the meatballs, sourdough flatbread and cesar salad were all great! Karissa and Brandon made awesome drinks as well. I will definitely be back!!!“
“Their mango banana vodka soda is AMAZING!! First tried at Seltzerland 2023 and then just recently had again at the new Ybor taproom. So yummy! David has been so helpful assisting me in trying to find where to purchase thses yummy drinks! Stock up if you do find them!!“
“This is the best restaurant in Seminole Heights. All the food here is well prepared. The charcuterie is the best in the Tampa Bay area. The burgers ? are top three. The chicken ? and waffles are outstanding. The cheesecake here is the best I have ever had. Great music entertainment on the weekends. Friendly efficient service. Always a great experience at C House.“
“This place is super cute and the coffee is decent for being a coffee snob, however, the music was so ungodly loud that you couldn’t even carry on a conversation with the person next to you without shouting. It would be nice to come to a cute coffee shop and feel like we could work and have a conversation. The thing that impressed me most about this place was that they wouldn’t allow us to pay to get a homeless woman coffee and a baked good. They just gave it to her and for that, we will come back and try again and hope next time it’s not so loud.“
“My girls and I visited this past weekend and it was a great time! The bouncers made our experience even better, Dallas especially made us feel so welcomed and protected, there were guys in the club that were harassing us and we felt very uncomfortable but he handled it very well and for that we will be back ?“
“Incredible place, with spectacular beers. We were very well received at this brewery. Event in the city, brewery booming and even so, all the staff smiling and friendly.Out of 10 service!Beer out of 10!Easy access, private parking and several taps on site“
“Really cool place, great food. They have live music pretty routinely but the volume is at a tasteful level so you can still hold conversations. There’s usually a good mix of people who are dressed up and people who are super casual. One of my favorite spots to take people.“
“My girlfriend group plans to meet here monthly! It is a central location and the food is excellent. We tried new things last night as well as our old standbys and it was wonderful. Good friends, good food...good times. I look forward to our next dinner.“
“Such a wonderful evening, and the staff was wonderful! This was truly a unique experience with a wonderful menu and selection of rare drinks at an acceptable price point. The way the staff interacted with us and ensured we not only had a wonderful evening but had options for the entire weekend to enjoy while visiting.“
“I can’t rate the food, however the cocktails were great and different. A little high on the price but I would recommend. Music was good, although I prefer live music. If you don’t like people smoking next 2 u, this is not your place.“
“We loved it!! Fun outside bar & Nicole the bartender was awesome! very sweet and professional & knows how to make a perfect Old Fashion. And the Fish & Chips were deliciousness... We will defenitely be back!! Looking forward to another Nicole Old Fashion cocktail very soon!“
“I came here on a Sunday evening at 8pm with a group of 5. We tried the king salmon crudo, wagyu gyoza, beef ishiyaki hot rock, chutoro truffle roll, sashimi platters, uni, yakimeshi - fried rice and a whole Peking duck. All things wagyu and fatty fish anything were amazing!! Just melts in your mouth. What a treat this dinner was true fine dining sushi experience but hard to get full without spending a lot of money! Pictures aren't the best because of the ambience and lighting but it was great experience with great service!“
“There were 6 of us ladies that came here for dinner on Friday 3/8. We were celebrating my best friend getting married (it was her bachelorette weekend) & of course we had to include a nice dinner before hitting the city of Tampa/St. Pete! The experience was absolutely amazing. From the service, to the ambiance, and the food, this establishment deserves a Michelin Star. Our server was very friendly. I wanted to surprise my group with a nice bottle of wine for the table; I had asked the server to put the wine on a separate ticket and keep my plan a secret, and she delivered! Timpano has a great wine selection- I ended up selecting a bottle of 2018 Silver Oak Cabernet. Our table was a half booth/half table. The seats were very comfortable, and it felt very private where we can continue to enjoy our food/drinks, yet still have fun. The food was incredible. I highly recommend the Parm to Table experience- the server assistance comes to your table with the homemade pasta in a cheese wheel and makes the sauce right in front of you. We were able to split the entire plate of pasta amongst 6 of us ladies. It was an amazing experience and it was delicious! The prices were very reasonable, highly recommend to visit Timpano in Hyde Park! I know I will definitely be back in the future!“
“We had a great experience. The chicken sliders with siracha and Cole slaw were delicious. My family also loved the pork belly bao bun sliders and the pizza - plus the onion rings!! everything was exceptionally fresh and delicious.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu“
“Normally great drinks, but around the holidays 2024, they were watered down, not great. Espresso martini looked like low fat choc milk, not dark in the least, and the old fashion looked like pale lemonade, not a rich Carmel color. Not mixologist there. But the atmosphere is low-key, most times not very crowded. We go there once a quarter at random, not a bad place. It's a good half way mark to stop when heading north out of Tampa... get a drink, play darts, then head the rest of the way to Lutz.“
“if you're a fan of dive bars gotta check this one out. Drinks are cheap and atmosphere is great, Nikki is the best, however if you're not a fan of cigarette smoke don't come, you'll definitely go home smelling like an ash tray“
“The food and atmosphere are AMAZING! I almost didn’t go because the reviews were inconsistent but I wanted something good for my last meal before starting a fast. SO glad I went!First off, there is parking. The staff were welcoming and made awesome recommendations. The atmosphere was soooo chill. I recently stopped drinking so had a nonalcoholic mojito and it was refreshing and tasty!I ordered the Street Corn, Garden Central Oysters, and Blackened Grouper Sammich. Literally everything was perfect!I’ll definitely be back with friends!Parking: Easy, peasy!“
“We loved this place!! Found it by accident while on vacation and we’re so glad we did. Our server, Taylor, was so nice, and the food was AMAZING!!! We had a boil (2 people) with shrimp, crawfish, crab legs, and sausage and it was only $40. Next time we’re in this area we’re definitely going back.“
“Garret was amazing! great relationship advice! If he can’t solve it, you’ll get drunk and forget about it! Jeral was amazing and had a cool dragon ball tattoo! Johnny and “the guy” Alex were chill as heck! would visit again and get crazy drinks!“
“Looking for a place to impress out of town friends-or soak up the sunset by the water (both pool and river)? This! Is! It! My good friends were visiting on business-staying downtown-and wanted to meet up late on a Friday afternoon for drinks. I looked for something walkable from their hotel and this popped up. I drive right by the Aloft every day, on my way to work. Finally... I was going to get inside-but just for a minute. We walked right to the back-to the patio bar by the pool, overlooking the Hillsborough River, with a view of the gorgeous University of Tampa campus and the sunset. It was the perfect place for convo and cocktails. We got there right when it opened at 4pm and could pick our spot. I can't tell you anything about what was available to eat or drink, since my friend sent us to sit and grabbed 2 rounds of beer and wine for us. Likewise, I can't comment on the service. Forgive me-I'll return-do some research-and report back later on those. But I can tell you that's it's a delicious spot to bask in the warm glow of both sun and good company. I was so focused on my friends, I didn't think to check on whether there were stairs down to the Riverwalk, below the bar-but I'll find out on my next visit. And I can tell you it's an easy walk from the Fort Brooke parking garage. (You take your ticket with you and pay at a machine on the first floor when you return) It was clean-not too loud-not too crowded-nobody bothered us. I can't wait to go back and do some more reconnaissance and take photos.! Cheers to good times, good venues and great friends!“
“We were in town for an industry conference. We had recommendations from the hotel concierge for "high end" dining in the area. We opted for local at the Big Easy. We could not have been more impressed with our visit. We reserved a table for 6 with a direct phone call. From the appetizers, main courses, dessert, and high-end liquor selection, everything had a personal and genuine feel to it that you can only get with people who care about making sure their customers have the best experience. We would NOT have had this much fun or enjoyment at one of the hotel recommended places. We had high-level executives at the meal, and afterward they shared with us, it was the best meal and place they had been in the three days in Tampa. The only dissapoinment is that the star rating doesn't go to "11" for the Big Easy Bar. We WILL be back.“
“Mid sized walk-in humidor, full bar + significant wine selection, fat chairs, clean restroom, free parking, lots of TVs. What's not to like? Don't forget to tip generously, especially if you are sitting there enjoying all of the above.“
“This is a great place to bring a date. I enjoyed the couches which gave the place a more intimate feel. I went on a Thursday night and it wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. Service was good but as it picked up, the one bartender was struggling to keep up. Drinks are not cheap but they're not cheap anywhere other than maybe a dive bar. Parking can also be an issue if you're not looking to pay for valet. Finding the entrance was also a little difficult. I definitely recommend this place for a date night.“
“Anthony was incredibly professional as he went to tables to see how their service was. He took the time to talk to everyone and made us feel welcomed. He was very generous and I would go back just to have him as our server. Thank you Anthony!“
“Circo is fun. We'll be back the next time we're in town. Trendy but not fussy. Great fusion twists on tacos. Thai shrimp and buffalo chicken were our favorites, but the shrimp salad taco was also great. The birria taco -- I don't know what this trend is all about. Too greasy for me.Good cocktails. We had the bourbon margarita and the tequila old fashioned. (Get it?! They switch the liquors! Because they can!) Not cheap, but they're using premium spirits and mixing them well. Service was friendly and attentive on an early Saturday evening. No problem getting a table. One quibble: They charge $8 for chips and salsa, and I get that they don't want to feel bound by being a traditional Mexican restaurant, but I know of Michelin starred Mexican-inspired restaurants that give out free chips, and their purity is not sullied by doing so. The fact is, free chips would have made us thirsty enough to order another $30 worth of cocktails. And even if they're handmade, making chips is neither hard nor expensive.Oh, and the bathrooms are way cool. Be sure to check them out.“
“This was the perfect location to celebrate our anniversary. The food was absolutely amazing. The chic peas were a different texture for the traditional hummus. I didn't expect the crunchy texture. The shrimp and grits were seasoned well and the grits were fluffy. The waitress and manager were kind and engaging with us as they entertained all of our requests to make this moment special. The view was nice but I'm not a lover of the area in general so my thoughts are biased.“
“Tried this place out instead of dealing with Ybor and Ritz to see Louijayxx and it was a good time. It's a small room but wasn't overpacked or anything, decent sound system, good lights and lasers, and everyone was pretty chill. Drinks were $10 and water bottles were only $2 which is dope. Lucked out by getting a parking spot when someone was leaving but I have no idea where I would have gone to park if that didn't work out. I think the small parking lot is the only issue with this place.“
“Food was hot and fresh, portions were generous. I thought it was a restaurant but it’s a food truck in the corner. Some items weren’t available at the time so it’s best to check before going. This was my first time trying this takeout spot and will come back again. Gentleman who was the only worker was very nice. Prices weren’t bad for the amount of food you get.“
“Ponte does not disappoint! I took my husband there last night for his birthday and from start to finish, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is elegant and modern but not ostentatious or garish. The food and drinks were creative, expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. And I cannot say enough about the staff. From Samantha, the hostess; Tyler, the manager; Bill, our server; and Matt, the sous chef; to the young man serving the bread and the multiple other staff who kept our water glasses full, everyone was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging. Samantha, in particular, handled a very aggressive and arrogant disgruntled man in the most diplomatic and professional manner. And this man was so aggressive that my husband and I almost intervened on Samantha’s behalf. But her diplomacy and professionalism did not waiver. To say she impressed us is an understatement. All in all, this was by far one of the best, if not the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return.“
