The River's Edge is...as implied...on the river at the Tampa Riverwalk Hotel. It sits off to the side and feels more like a bar upon walk up than a destination restaurant. The view of the river can't be beat once you walk in, however. It just feels like an average hotel bar/restaurant with a nice view. The service was not good. We were strolling the Riverwalk and got a little peckish. There are not a lot of restaurants right off the walk, at least in this area. So we ducked in to get out of the heat and get a bite. We were the only ones in the dining room, so I was a little nervous about what we'd receive.Management was wonderful. They sat us by the window so our party of 6 could watch the river action. Sandwiches were excellent. Had the Cubano, and it was so large I took half home for dinner later....read full review

Our server named Cyrus was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to all four ladies at our table. When we couldn't decide which Chardonnay to choose, He brought 3 samplings to the table for us to pick the one we like. Our luncheon was perfect and so was the beautiful view of the river. We can't say enough nice things about our lunch at River's Edge.
