“We were given a gift card by our son-in-law at Christmas and we were finally in that part of town the other evening. We arrived early so we beat the crowd this I can say is that I had the most amazing meal of my life complemented by the best service from our server Alex. I believe the prices are fair a little high for every day dining but for the food and the ambience very much in line. I had the lamb. My wife had to see bass I was son was skeptical when the server told me that it was a marinated and cooked and its own fat. I thought maybe it would become greasy, no meat came out and fell apart with a fork for a lamb I I was. I was blown back and had a combination of little baby carrots. It had these little things that I could only compare to a tater tot but 100 times better asparagus presentation outstanding see the attached picture, I could not more highly recommend this place to anyone and you can tell from my profile how many reviews I’ve done of restaurants I would say that this is probably my all time ever favorite restaurant”

“It was my first time at Hangry Bison (Winter Garden). A friend and I went there to catch up on the lastest happenings after not talking for 3 weeks. I had the Doddzilla with Mac&Cheese as my side. It was all phenomenal food! Be prepared to have messy hands when you order a burger, they are big and juicy and are packed with so much flavor! And, the service is spot on, Madison was on top of all our needs, always had fresh drinks, even the guy who brought our food out as soon as it was ready was amazing, Charlie, after presenting our plates to us, asked if there were any condiments we would like and after he returned with the black pepper I request, instead of asuming he was done he asked us again if there was anything else he could do or get for us, AMAZING customer service! Charlie's job might seem menial as a busboy but, his customer servive was the absolute highlight of our visit! It is so rare these days to see someone care and take onwership in their job, it is quite refreshing! Thanks Charlie, you are impacting the world around you by just being yourself! Hangry Bison should be proud to have staff members like you and Madison. I am now a loyal client and a Hangry Bison Ambassador!”

The environment can be a hit or miss since it’s right on the side of park ave, a busy street with many cars and people walking through the tables to get to the shops, that’s if you’re sitting outside anyway. If you’re sitting inside, good luck trying to hear anyone as the inside of the establishment is very small and cramped..nonetheless, I do recommend checking this place out for their food, it’s always so good!

Parking: It’s Park Ave.. the worst place in the area to find parking, especially on the weekends.”

The sandwiches were great, but they had to remake the fries because the first order was cold. The store didn't have a lot of traffic, so it didn't surprise me that the fries in the first order were old - they should have tossed them rather than serving.”

“I finally got to Anna's Polish Restaurant in Winter Park - our Great Lakes Club had planned an outing last year but Milton Hurricane killed that outing, then it was rescheduled for this week but the day selected I had a conflict. So asked a few friends to join me for a fun new experience. We were not disappointed - the service was interesting and the food was unique and very good. I love getting very new and different dishes that I have not had before. I started with a wonderful Polish dark beer and White Borsch soup. My wife and I shared the Polish Trio Appetizer which featured pierogis, pancakes and polish sausage all had great unique flavors. I had the Pork Schnitzel with mushroom sauce with side of sweet cabbage and mash potatoes. I finished with the poppy seed cake. Everything was very good, all very different flavors I truly enjoyed. If you are looking for authentic home Polish cooking this is a place you should try.”

But other than that everything was very good. My husband had the chorizo breakfast tacos. They are messy but well worth it. They had great flavor.

“Went looking for a pizza place I’ve never been to before. I found Golden Pizza. I ordered a meat lovers pizza and a cheese lovers calzone. The pizza was good…not the best I’ve ever had, but still good. It was honestly a little overpriced. The calzone though…I wish I got two of them instead. I will definitely go back for the calzone.”

“This is a belated review, but back in late November of 2022 I had a somewhat last minute request for a custom cake for my husband and his twin sister Sylvia’s 60th Birthday that was on December 4th. It was to be a surprise for them and I wanted it to be extra special. I reached out to Dan and expressed to him my ideas and he accommodated them perfectly and beautifully. The cake was covered with photos of them together through the years. I will never forget how truly special the cake was and what it meant to my husband Ed and his sister Sylvia. What I didn’t express at the time was that my sister-in-law had been recently diagnosed with metastatic cancer and I realized how extra special this Birthday would be. Sadly, we lost her shortly after her 61st Birthday on December 16, 2023. I just want to thank you whole heartedly for being kind and considerate, providing incredible customer service, and of course, for making a very special cake for a very special occasion. Small downsides - very popular so difficult to get a table - wouldn’t recommend for a massive party. We also thought it was a bit cheeky that they charge $4 just to get the wine card.”

Everything is clearly labeled and there are many options for vegans. Sometimes they even have vegan baked goods. It’s not exactly a quick service restaurant but it’s also not a full on, sit-down restaurant either. It’s a coffee shop with stellar food that is brought out to your table and cleaned up for you. The staff is very attentive. It’s right off Park Ave, a little out of the “hustle bustle” which is nice as it’s usually busy - but not slammed - on the weekends. They have a few tables to sit at inside, but more outside. It’s not the best place for a large group because of the limited seating. A party of 6 maximum would be comfortable. The decor is pleasant, modern, clean, and minimalist. Overall, if you’re looking for a brunch place to stop at on the weekend while on Park Ave, this is it!”

“I absolutely love Justin the GM he is awesome. I did run into this guy name William who’s a manager there and I’m not sure if it was “that day” but he was an absolute jerk! He “claim” that he threw away my order that was nearly $100 because I was 10 minutes late to pick it up although they had over 20 people still enjoying dinner in the restaurant and I drove over 30 minutes to get there so I had to call corporate on him, and they took care of everything so shout out to corporate as well 🎉but besides that, the staff has always been friendly. The food is pleasant most times . The atmosphere is always Calm and easy-going. Very comfortable setting and the wait time is usually appropriate.

“I would like to start out by saying that we love the food at Cava. We went there today during rush hour and decided to sit outside with our dog. There were other people with their dog and a 3rd couple next to us. We had a skateboarder running up and down trying to land a trick while his buddy was filming it next to our tables which freaked the dogs out. I have asked him if he is almost done, and he said no not until he lands his trick. We all had to move, and we decided eventually to leave since the guy would not stop running pass our table with his skateboard. I have asked the manager Maleina if that is allowed to skateboard up and down through the tables while we are supposed to eat there. Her response was 'so what it is public property' and then she said there is anyway not anyone sitting there while waving at the skateboarder to greet him with a smile. This is the behavior that make people not want to come back to this location.”

“One of the most delicious meals ever!! I would rate this restaurant 10/5. The food was delicious, the atmosphere beautiful inside, you can see the fire in the kitchen from your seat. But ultimately the food was the best thing, if you were at your home you would lick the plate on how good it was.”

“I’ve been coming here for years and always so pleased with my dishes. My all time favorite is the Nutella Waffle and the Fried Green Tomatoes are to die for. The environment can be a hit or miss since it’s right on the side of park ave, a busy street with many cars and people walking through the tables to get to the shops, that’s if you’re sitting outside anyway. If you’re sitting inside, good luck trying to hear anyone as the inside of the establishment is very small and cramped..nonetheless, I do recommend checking this place out for their food, it’s always so good!

Parking: It’s Park Ave.. the worst place in the area to find parking, especially on the weekends.”
