“We were given a gift card by our son-in-law at Christmas and we were finally in that part of town the other evening. We arrived early so we beat the crowd this I can say is that I had the most amazing meal of my life complemented by the best service from our server Alex. I believe the prices are fair a little high for every day dining but for the food and the ambience very much in line. I had the lamb. My wife had to see bass I was son was skeptical when the server told me that it was a marinated and cooked and its own fat. I thought maybe it would become greasy, no meat came out and fell apart with a fork for a lamb I I was. I was blown back and had a combination of little baby carrots. It had these little things that I could only compare to a tater tot but 100 times better asparagus presentation outstanding see the attached picture, I could not more highly recommend this place to anyone and you can tell from my profile how many reviews I’ve done of restaurants I would say that this is probably my all time ever favorite restaurant”

Favorite items are the birria tacos and fajitas. Super tasty and food is always sizzling hot when it arrives. Portion sizes are large! We usually end up taking some food home. Staff is always friendly.”

“I’ve stopped into The Glass Knife several times and always enjoyed their coffee and pastries; everything is top notch in terms of quality and presentation. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

That said, the service has felt a little snooty each time. Nothing outright rude, but I just don’t feel especially welcome when ordering. It’s a beautiful spot with delicious treats, but the vibe could be warmer. Still, four stars for the quality alone.”

“Today we came in and had an early dinner. We are visiting the area while my husband works disaster relief. This was my favorite dining experience here. Hands down. We had the pleasure of being served by Tyrese . I ordered half muffuletta that was so huge I couldn’t even take down half of a half! My husband ordered Blackened Chicken served over grit cakes…. Everything that came to our table was nothing short of perfect. Tyrese was very pleasant and informative on the menu. We 10 out of 10 recommend. Thank you for the great service .”

Randi was exceptional he went above and beyond to make sure we had a spot even during a very busy promotion that they had going on... He also went the extra mile to make us feel extra special with the special cocktails... Our Server Andrew continued with the special service by welcoming us in and his suggestions for dinner were so delicious 😋... Andrew even added some extra touches with special sauce suggestions to add to our dining experience... Max was also extra attentive by taking our picture by the cutest spot under the tree and checking to ensure we had enough bread and tasty butters on hand... Been to many restaurants in Chicago but I must admit not one has gone the extra mile as did the manager and staff at Winter Park.... Bravo to you all!!”

“I have been coming to Briar Patch since i was a kid when it was an ice cream store... Celebrating a friend's birthday and her first time there, especially busy as always on Saturday... Sat at the counter... We had The breakfast quiche which was amazing, and my ole favorite California Benedict. Pleasantly surprised how quickly the food came... Absolutely scrumptious as always...
I still can't get over the cherry tomatoes instead of beefsteak tomatoes, an unfortunate change...

Small downsides - very popular so difficult to get a table - wouldn’t recommend for a massive party. We also thought it was a bit cheeky that they charge $4 just to get the wine card.”

“The boba was cooked well and delicious. I got a twisted or tornado slush. Basicallt strawberry with cream cheese. It wasn't too sweet which was nice since other places I tried in orlando are too sweet. It was 8.50 for a medium which feels too pricey. When a drink is the same price as a quick service meal, it's challenging to indulge frequently.
A tall frapp is like $6.50. Nothing is priced sensibly after covid.

“First time visiting came in around 130. My child with special needs was hungry and I wasn't willing to drive further away from her upcoming appointment which was in 30 minutes. The place was clean, staff welcomed us upon entry, and greeted me quickly at the counter. The cashier was super nice l. Explained all food provided on the menu. Ordered and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. Which gave me time to get my kids to drink, pick a table grab crayons 🖍 and kids color paper sit down for maybe 2 minutes and she came with our meals. The food was hot and fresh. The manager working there was absolutely sweet and respectful and said she loves working for the company, which made me happy to know they are happy working there which means the food will come out great too. My kids dislike chic fil a so I was worried when I walked into PDQ BUT it ITS WAY BETTER than Chick-fil-A Fil a. Also I should mention staff all communicated very well when orders were being taken prepared everyone was focused and worked together great as a team.”

“This is a belated review, but back in late November of 2022 I had a somewhat last minute request for a custom cake for my husband and his twin sister Sylvia’s 60th Birthday that was on December 4th. It was to be a surprise for them and I wanted it to be extra special. I reached out to Dan and expressed to him my ideas and he accommodated them perfectly and beautifully. The cake was covered with photos of them together through the years. I will never forget how truly special the cake was and what it meant to my husband Ed and his sister Sylvia. What I didn’t express at the time was that my sister-in-law had been recently diagnosed with metastatic cancer and I realized how extra special this Birthday would be. Sadly, we lost her shortly after her 61st Birthday on December 16, 2023. I just want to thank you whole heartedly for being kind and considerate, providing incredible customer service, and of course, for making a very special cake for a very special occasion. I ordered a brownie sunday and I appreciated the brownie being warmed without requesting so, it heightened the overall experience. Prices were also fairly reasonable.
Others in the shop order the bubble waffles which seemed to be their specialty and there was nothing but positive feedback. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat.”

It was not cooked or marinated with the sauce. Our server said he would report, but we didn’t hear back. The bill was high, next time I’ll insist on return. That probably won’t be for a long time.”

There were other people with their dog and a 3rd couple next to us. We had a skateboarder running up and down trying to land a trick while his buddy was filming it next to our tables which freaked the dogs out. I have asked him if he is almost done, and he said no not until he lands his trick. We all had to move, and we decided eventually to leave since the guy would not stop running pass our table with his skateboard. I have asked the manager Maleina if that is allowed to skateboard up and down through the tables while we are supposed to eat there. Her response was 'so what it is public property' and then she said there is anyway not anyone sitting there while waving at the skateboarder to greet him with a smile. This is the behavior that make people not want to come back to this location.”

“Just called Rivers Lakeland to place a pick up order. Man answered the phone. Stated they don't take orders by phone have to do online. Told him I tried that wouldn't work. Said that's how they do take out. I've been going to 4 Rivers for years. Was ordering for six people over $100. Told him I'll find some place else to order from. Won't be back.”

“I’ve stopped into The Glass Knife several times and always enjoyed their coffee and pastries; everything is top notch in terms of quality and presentation. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

That said, the service has felt a little snooty each time. Nothing outright rude, but I just don’t feel especially welcome when ordering. It’s a beautiful spot with delicious treats, but the vibe could be warmer. Still, four stars for the quality alone.”

“My husband and I popped in for dinner after he arrived home from a family event. We wanted a date night after being away from one another for several days/nights. It was our first time. I sent him the menu as he boarded his plane and he was looking forward to a “new spot”. It did not disappoint. We were attended to from the time we sat down until after we tabbed out. We tried several dishes to get an idea of their style of cooking. The prosciutto melted in our mouths.. the ricotta was extremely creamy and bread from Breadsmith? DELISH. The Italian wedding soup was delicious, the pig n’ fig pizza was excellent (kudos on the dough and crust!), the spicy vodka rigate was on point! Not too spicy.. just that perfect amount of crushed red pepper in the sauce. The wine list was an extensive and our servers (we love to sit at the bar) was top notch! (Forgive me because I’m bad with names but I believe they were Alyssa and Jackie?) it is now on our list of must return spots. They were jamming for a Wednesday night. We initially sat at the rail bar but a couple waved in our direction to let us know they were leaving in a few minutes. If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic spot, it’s not quiet but it doesn’t echo, either. The details are beautiful, the artwork is pleasant to the eye and it was a perfect romantic date night spot for us. One of the better Italian spots in the area. Kudos and thank you for a great evening! Oh. P.S. the 12 month prosciutto with ricotta “primi” is definitely enough to share with 4 people. lol. So good!”
