The Independent has become a great spot for weekly pool nights. The drinks and food are always great (the fried green beans are my absolute favorite). Service is always fast and friendly. Parking is free for the first two hours in the lot, but you do have to scan the code and register your vehicle.
Decided to come here for the first time and keep in mind I was on my first date with this amazing woman. The parking is paid in a supervised uncovered lot, it’s plenty of parking too. First two hours is free, just FYI. They have plenty of pool tables that are labeled, just walk up to the order here sign and get your drinks and your balls, $15/hour to play but you can’t put a price on a good time, live ya life! Had a great time. Greg the bartender was amazing and very friendly. About 8 pool table also had 2 dart boards. We had 2 beers and it came up to $17 which is sort of high but the vibes were cool. Didn’t try the food but everyone was tearing it up so I assume it was pretty good. Faint smoky smell even though I didn’t see anyone smoking inside. Very clean establishment didn’t feel sticky. Will be back.
