We came here for a late night bite after a show at the Fox, and the Vortex definitely hit the spot! Burgers are $10-15 dollars, which is cheaper than anything you could get at the Five Guys near by, and has the benefit of being more delicious. The atmosphere of the Vortex is fabulously unique and hip. The food is really good bar food. Overall, burgers are very good. We were a little disappointed in the Pickle Rick. The Szechuan sauce tasted kinda like ketchup mixed with barbecue sauce. Maybe that’s what you want, but it wasn’t our jam. Service was great. We were in a bit of a hurry and had no problems.
