“One of my top 2 places to go to for dim sum when i drive down from nashville. Actually may have moved into the #1 spot. Just because they serve dim sum ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. I know it's traditionally more of a breakfast, brunch item. But sometimes i crave it at 7pm. Service is what you expect from a dim sum place. It's not great or bad. Usually always get water right away and hot tea if you request it. Order your food and they leave you alone until you need something. They all work together , so just ask anyone if you need something extra. It is cleaner than most other dim sum around the area. During brunch it's packed pretty tightly with all the carts rolling around. Dinner is more spaced out and less people for sure. Top items that i order: Shrimp shumai Shrimp dumpling Scallop and shrimp dumpling Spicy chicken feet Spicy pork rib Beef tripe LOTUS LEAF STICKY RICE (absolutely must try if you haven't!) Chinese broccoli Everything taste fresh! And full of flavor! Does not taste like rubber like some other restaurants.... if they had better service , it would be a 5 star review for sure! Give them a try!“
“Yall the food was amazing. I got the Peking duck 2 different ways, steam buns and in a stir fry and I knew they had a regular out of me! I went for my birthday and we are going back next month for my sisters. One of the best experiences ever.“
“Located inside Atlanta's Chinatown's food court, Nanbei Gourmet is my go-to spot to grab some delicious Chinese food. Chinatown is never short of options, but I always seem to gravitate back towards Nanbei Gourmet because of their specialties. Nanbei Gourmet's identity is centered around Szechuan cuisine, which might throw some people off because off the spice. However, I can assure you that there are both spicy and non-spicy dishes that I can point to as their best options. I think their best dish is the spicy fish with soft tofu. Their fish is always cooked perfectly, and flaky. Their spicy Szechuan sauce does the cuisine justice; it truly is spicy! But, it's the good kind of spicy where your mouth feels numb and you want to eat more, because the flavor is on point. If you're not looking for something spicy, their fish and vegetables in the Peking sauce is my next pick. The vegetables always taste fresh, and the amount of gravy that dish has to put on your rice gets me giddy. Their meatballs and handmade buns never go wrong either. Their prices also are extremely reasonable, and their portion sizes never disappoint. There's seriously not much to dislike about this place!“
“On a business trip and stopped in for some seafood. To our delight a local community of people with various musical styles began to perform one at a time. The food was amazing. The music was great. We got there around 6 and ended up not leaving till they were closing the doors.Highly reccomend.“
“I’ve been coming here since it opened. Went today craving the wings only to find out they weren’t on the menu. So I ordered tater tots and mac and cheese. The tater tots were great and amazing fried food. But dear god. The Mac and cheese could not have been more of a dumpster fire. Trying to cover up the runny bland sauce by adding waaaayyy too much garlic is not the answer. Please don’t serve this ever. Like ever.“
