“since i was a kids my family, friends, even strangers used to pick on me because i "didn't clean the bone" ........ well let's just say today i learned......... it wasn't me. it was them ? so glad i found this place. best mac n cheese i ever bought from any place. turkey wings bone apple tea !!! or whatever they say in France . im trying everything they got on the menu. stay tuned lol“

“First time going on Sunday 11/12 and the food was soooo good. Brought me back to the country. My cousin had the baked spaghetti with collards and yams and I had the bbq chicken (dark) with mac, collards and yams. Everything was hot and seasoned toPerfection. Best kept secret on the southside!“

“The main food was perfect! We ordered a brisket sandwich, 1lb ribs, and smoked wings. The sides were ok at best (string beans, mac & cheese) but the catfish nuggets baked beans were delicious! We ordered a margarita and martini which were good during happy hour. Everything was reasonably priced. The restaurant only had 1 server (deb) and she worked her butt off to serve everyone in a timely matter. It wasn't her fault that service was slow.... they just need more servers before happy hour starts. The bulk of the staff comes in after happy hour.The atmosphere was ok with oldies music playing in background. The fun starts at happy hour when the 45 plus crowd comes in. This is definitely a fun spot with good food and drinks for the older, older crowd later in the night. I'll definitely come back for takeout or to dine in earlier in the day.“

“The food was so delicious… I had the dressing, baked chicken, and Mac and cheese… My daughter had the kids wings, Mac and cheese and collard greens (their kids plate are huge). It was worth the drive. They need to go and give John’s Fine Foods some pointers because baby!!!!“

“My grits were not in the bag and they gave me too many pancakes I did not order but 2 and my food were cold because I waited a long time in the parking bay.finally I went inParking: Your food should be ready when you check in on time but no one comes out to bring you your order and you having to go in and get it yourself“

“1 star for service because the cashier had an attitude with everyone. The staff, customers, and people who called in were not exempt from her attitude. Other than that, the other staff had great customer service and the food tasted better than the last time I was there and I was happy with the food then so I was really happy last night. The 2 for $35 deal was perfect for my family.“
