OMG, what can I say, for those of you who love nachos but are annoyed by the tediousness of eating them with ingredients that are not equally dispersed on a bed of chips. Please try this. The corn tortilla is so crisp it makes a lovely sound as you tear it. The steak seared to a perfect medium, as I requested. Wowwie!!!!”

The hostess told us about the nominal cover charge and that they have table service for drinks. We sat down with a couple my wife knew and waited for a server. 15 minutes in and no server in sight? My wife goes to the bar to order and was told to wait for a server. OK, 10 minutes later here she comes. Takes our simple order and again we wait, and wait. 10 minutes later we are served. I don’t understand what would take so long. Every other venue at the square is very attentive. I would have spent $75-$100 on drinks but never got the chance. I’ll go back one more time but if it’s the same experience, never again.”

Inside is very nice, but noisy, so outside was perfect. Debbie was extremely friendly and professional and made us feel right at home. Even though we could tell she was busy, she served us efficiently with a big smile. The scallops were cooked to perfection, as was the seared tuna. And I'd also recommend the eggplant small plate. The waffles have a caramelized sweetness which pairs perfectly with a savory topping. My husband had the Nashville spicy fried chicken and waffles which he loved and the sweet owner Niki went out and got brie to make my favorite brie and bacon waffle drizzled with maple syrup. Would go back but definitely order the burger with "the bun on the side". Soggy bun and fries.could have been because they sat at the kitchen window too long before being served. “Tofu Village (싸리골) has always been my go-to spot for authentic Korean cuisine. The food here is consistently delicious, capturing the true flavors of Korea. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in each dish make every visit worthwhile.
One thing that would make the experience even better is having more BBQ tables. As a true Korean BBQ restaurant owned by Koreans, it deserves to have ample space for guests to fully enjoy the grilling experience. The lemon petite tart was not made with fresh lemon. Probably frozen previously too. The ice cream bar had only vanilla and cool whip topping. The strawberry and chocolate syrups were flavored. For the price charged a couple of real signature desserts would have been great. The macaroni was great. The salmon, chicken and beef were good. The ham was not a a good choice and was not at a carving station as described when I asked about the buffet. Fruit was good. Since this is the first since Covid 19 I’ll give for credit for a nice presentation.

But when you start looking around - there do have many different items. I bought everything to try and didn’t regret a bit! Even though I make my own borsch and golubcy I liked theirs too. Shuba was amazing! Mushroom salad was something new and different, good a spread on bread or with boiled egg. Nice eggplant salad with their fresh bake bread - it was delicious! Napoleon was exactly how I make it at home. It was a good choice to get it there. Besides all of listed above they have a great selection of tea, salami, cheeses, candy and other sweets.
