“We were craving for sushi and decided to try this well-established restaurant that has been around for 30+ years. It was a very cute place tucked behind a shopping plaza. For appetizers we got the shrimp teriyaki and the Kara-Age chicken, which was the perfect starter while we waited for our entrees. For entrees we got the salmon sashimi, spicy tuna roll, caterpillar roll and the sukiyaki dinner. The sukiyaki dinner came with salad, miso soup and a bowl of rice. The salmon sashimi was extremely fresh and melted in my mouth. The servings were very generous and we did not leave hungry. The owner/staff were very nice and treated us like family.”

“We started with the gouda fritters and the fried green tomatoes as appetizers. Needless to say, everything about these dishes were perfectly balanced. For the fritters, the red chili honey was the perfect touch with a whisper of a kick to the fritter but also not overbearingly sweet. The breading let the gouda do the work for flavor and was the perfect encapsulation for the cheese. For the green tomatoes, the breading was also the perfect crustiness for the tomato and paired beautifully with the red coulis. Aesthetically, these dishes appeared to be as thoughtfully put together as the ingredients were for the dish itself. A strong piece for me that was just as significant for the entire meal was the coffee. It has been well over 18 months, maybe 2 years since I've had coffee this robust without the bean being burnt for strength in the flavor. Lastly, for the main dishes, we tried the Egg benedict on brisket and egg white frittata. Since I didn't steal anything from my partner's plate for the benedict, I will say this is the place where you want to try your first egg benedict and no where else, based on the experience of the appetizers. The server did recommend a biscuit with it since there was no other bread on the plate and her recommendation was well placed but didn't take away from the dish flavors itself. For the frittata, the creativity for this dish was vibrant, fresh, wholesome, light, and bursting with flavor without it being over seasoned. The cheese on the dish was the perfect way to tie in with the spinach, tomato, panko sprinkling, and egg as well. Everything about this meal was to die for and securely placed me into foodie heaven as I could truly relish every bite I took and walked away the most satiated palette I've had in a very long time. 15/10 would make this an absolute must visit spot for brunch and this will be very hard to beat back home.”

“Hidden Gem - We consider Siam Square Thai Cuisine to be the best Thai restaurant in the area. We have eaten there frequently over the last 5 years and the food has been exceptional. In addition, the staff are very friendly, accommodating, attentive, and prompt. We’re vegetarians and they have many delicious vegetarian options. We have dined there with omnivore and vegan friends, and they also love Siam Square. They work hard to deliver high quality locally prepared dishes. The sauces are prepared fresh daily, and the vegetables are served fresh and crisp. It’s sad that the restaurant appears to have light business. We attribute it to the out of the way location in a small strip mall in Smyrna. But it is well worth taking the time to find it.”

“I took a long time friend to this restaurant and had a wonderful experience all around. Dom, from Virginia, was our server and he was very attentive and helpful. The food came quickly and was hot and quite flavorful. For a three course meal for two people, the price was absolutely right at $35/person (no alcohol)! The DJ and dance floor in the back were a bonus discovery, for sure, on a Saturday night. We will be back!”

“Where do I even start!!? I love this place. I have become a permanent fixture here. I usually sit at the bar, and my girls Jill and Heather always have my back. Jill is so fun and willing to create new cocktails with you! Heather is a doll. Just ask (if it's not busy). Great specials throughout the week. Food... Have yet to eat anything that isn't top quality. She Crab soup is spot on every time. The buttermilk vinaigrette dressing is amazing. Everything is made in house. This natural born Florida beach girl feels right at home with the menu and atmosphere. The music here brings me back to my childhood days. Such lovely people will make you feel welcomed too!! I had to ask the witness for a bag with so many containers. short staffed? I have nothing good to say. They need to update that dirty carpet from 1990 too. I don't recommend it. It's like they're trying to make up for the lack of flavor with an excess of grease.However, the service is slow, and the wait times are unreasonably long. Additionally, the waiters( I dont know his name) often persuade us to order more than we can finish, resulting in waste. Despite these issues, the biryani and weekend specials keep us coming back.”

“My friend and I are currently on maternity leave and meet almost every Thursday for a light lunch and margaritas. Not only is it a fantastic deal and amazing service every time, but today they seriously went over the top. I don’t know their names but 2 servers literally ran to bring me my credit card that I left behind (thanks mom brain). We had already crossed the cross walk and they chased us across the street to bring it to me. I am so grateful!! Thank you TCT for always being amazing!”

Maybe for soda or something. Not sure what they are but kind of gross that the caps/ garbage were in with my food. Ugh. The cashier was friendly and personable.The portions were adequate, but the flavor and freshness of my sesame chicken, fried rice and spring roll were impeccable and very scrumptious. The sesame chicken actually had fresh steamed broccoli in it which was a delightful surprise!My only complaint was the prices on the menu turned out to be almost $3 higher than advertised. He started taking other tables' orders and serving them while we grew a little frustrated watching and waiting. We had a table of twelve in which one person left due to the bad service. After I spoke with the manager at the door, the waiter came back over and returned to taking our orders. The service then began to improve for the rest of our time there, with the manager assisting.I had guest staff from TN, GA, NC, FL, SC and MD here for an important training, and we just wanted to go out, have a bite to eat, and enjoy the evening. “I have been long awaiting my chance to experience the Peach Cobbler Cafe and it finally happened! I was in the area last night and wanted some soul food, clearly Peach Cobbler Cafe was the win for the night. Upon walking in, I was greeted with a huge personality filled “Welcome to Peach Cobbler Cafe!” As I took in the overall ambiance, there is a mostly open floor plan. The menu was to my left as soon as you walked in which allowed me to figure out what I wanted before walking up to the register. In full transparency. I was taken aback by the prices, however, understanding that inflation is real I continued and placed my order. I decided on the Rib Tips Dinner with Macaroni and Cheese and Yams. Of course, I chose Peach Cobbler as my dessert… Upon placing my order I went to have a seat. All the booths towards the back were dirty which was odd as there was no one in the restaurant besides one other person who was towards the front. Hmmm, this made me wonder when the last wipe down was for any of the tables. Nonetheless, I decided to take my chances and have a seat. About 10 minutes after sitting down my order was ready. As you can see by the images, the presentation was amazing and the portions were a good size for $35. Let’s talk Taste: Yams - The yams tasted like doctored up canned yams. They weren’t bad overall, however, I wasn’t flavor-ly pleased with the approach to making them taste “not so canned.” On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate them a 5. Macaroni and Cheese - The Mac and Cheese was good. Flavorful, well done, cheesy and definitely satisfied the homemade craving. On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate this side a 7. Rib Tips - The Rib Tips were meaty, well seasoned, smokey, and tender. The sauce was mild, well flavored, and paired perfect with the smokiness of the tips and the natural presence of the pork juice. On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate the tips an 8.3. Cornbread - The cornbread was very good. It was spongy and had a smooth texture to it. The sweetness to corn ratio was spot on which allowed for a satisfying of the sweet and salty desire. Along with the perfect flavor balance, it was buttery. Oh yeah! This is the kind of cornbread that would pair well with dinner or coffee. LoL! On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate the cornbread a 9. Peach Cobbler - The Peach Cobbler stole the entire show. I’m talking what in the good goodness, grandma in the kitchen showing off, soul pleasing goodness. This dessert was amazing and delectable enough to make me come back for an order of Peach Cobbler all by itself. On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate the Peach Cobbler a 10. **Sidenote, ensure to check your bag before you leave. My peach cobbler was left out of my bag originally.** Overall, my experience at Peach Cobbler Cafe wasn’t bad. For $35, I anticipated better flavor profiles amongst each dish, however, I wouldn’t be opposed to ordering a meal from here again.”

“Saturday for lunch:We had the oxtail stew, cabbage, Mac & cheese, red beans and rice, jerk chicken, and jerk chicken eggrolls, and plantains! Hands down the best of it all was the jerk chicken followed closely by the oxtail stew.There were only 2 dishes we didn't enjoy. The cabbage tasted a little dirty and the plantains came out cold and didn't really taste like what we were expecting.Would we go here again ,yes! We actually came back the next day to get some oxtail and jerk chicken for the road.The atmosphere:music playing at a reasonable tone and multiple tvs for your viewing pleasure. At the time only a few guest were inside so it wasn't to crowded. It was clean and honestly looks like they scaled up a bit.”

“I attempted to reserve a couple of sections but unfortunately the phone number I enter was incorrect, however once we arrived at 5:30 pm on 4/20 I spoke to the Manager and he accommodated my reservation and help my party and I reserve 2 spots at 300 each.. my party and I had a good time, unfortunately after reserving my party and I went to another spot for an hour and once we returned you guys was charging a 10!cover charge. I spoke to the lady and mention that I had 2 sections reserved at 300 a piece that should of been enough to allow us all to enter at no charge especially after spending 200 prior to leaving.. my party and I was frustrated with that process.”

“It was my first time there, though I’d seen the place for years. I’d moved to another area of town so I never got a chance to dine there. I recently was in the area and craving barbecue and I remember Jim n Nick’s. Hooray! I ordered the 2lb classic rib with baked bean and Mac and cheese. The mini cheese muffins and sweet butter spread was unexpected and awesome. And 5 minutes later my order was on the table and looking delicious. When I ate the first rib I was in love, food love. The best ribs I’ve eaten so far. I am looking forward to visiting again with friends. I want to experience more items on the menu.”

“Visited 8:15pm 1-2-2024, the wife and I ordered a salad w/ drink, soup (to go) a grilled chicken sandwich combo and a milkshake. Service was on par for Chick-fil-A (the standard for fast food in my opinion) and although the bill was $35, I do understand inflation is the reason. Surprisingly my fries were cold and soggy, so I went to the counter and told the young lady who took my order "these fries suck" and she went to place another order for fries. Within seconds of me standing there the manager also asked if everything was okay, I explained the young lady was getting me new fries and he apologized promptly and said they will be right out with fresh fries.They literally dropped new fries, when I was finishing my sandwich they brought to our table PERFECTLY cooked, crispy fries!! It make the $35 tab worth every penny.This local Chick-fil-A has won over my business for another year with absolutely superb service and high quality food. I wish I had got the servers name and the managers name because they served the wife and I much needed dinner in a professional and kind way after an extremely hard workout at the gym.
