“First time at El Taco Jalisco. Food, service and atmosphere are awesome. Waitress was helpful in our menu choice. They have breakfast too. Very authentic food, but not super spicy. There is a spicy sauce on the table. Few tables and a few booths. They get pretty busy at times. Check the website for hours.“

“Let me start by saying the positives, the servers were great, the atmosphere was great, the drinks were great. Honestly their homemade chips could use more salt, if it even had any. But what offended me was their version of huarache. The left photo I took from “their” photos. Which I will say I am impressed for their consistency. Because I ordered my huarache with a side of salsa picante. The next photo is what a real huarache is suppose to look like and tastes 100% better.
Let me leave the audience with this tip. If you’re going to act the part for the lead role at least repair for the part. If you fail, take it off the menu or do something else.“

We ordered chicken, chorizo, and asada tacos, and they were all perfectly made and absolutely delicious. I also got the roasted cake, and it was so good that I left no crumbs! If you're in the Oakwood area and craving some Birria Tacos, TIO LOCO is worth a visit! This nice little spot is tucked off to the side of the BP gas station on Hwy 53 (beside the COOKOUT), right off 985. The address might say Gainesville, but for me, this is Oakwood.

The Birria Tacos here are solid—juicy, flavorful, and sure to satisfy your taco cravings. They of course have your other menu items that you may want to check out, but I've been on a birria kick for a while now ? It's definitely a spot to check out if you’re nearby!

“I've been going to this restaurant since it was called Texico when I was a kid. The nachos and Taco salad has always been amazing. Ordered a plate of nachos for me and my daughter, which was delicious and a bowl of cheese dip which was great, but the large cheese dip costs $13.75 . Lol. I will never order the large again. It's basically the same price as my entire meal, which was $14.25 . I was expecting $8 maybe $9 for the dip, but I guess I should've actually looked at the menu.... Other than the over priced cheese, everything was great. And the waitress checked up on us regularly.“

“Quaint authentic Mexican restaurant. Having lived 6 years in Mexico, I know authentic! I ordered the Torta Regia. LOADED with refried beans, pineapple, country fried thin steak, lettuce, tomato, avacado, jalapeño, and panela cheese. SO GOOD!Very friendly staff. Google says they're open until 9pm. We showed up just before 8. We realized they were closing after we ordered, but they were super friendly and not annoyed at us. All the staff wore masks, and wore them PROPERLY. Very happy about that. We don't live in Gainesville, but we will come back!!“

“I live in the Cresswind Community in Hoschton. Our block decided to hold our monthly block party at El Centinela. We had about 35 of us and we had a great time. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. There back dining room was very spacious and gave us the privacy we were looking for. I would highly recommend this restaurant

“Went last Sunday afternoon with friends and they had live music which was awesome! I don't eat meat but I asked if they could make me a bean, rice, nopal, and avocado burrito, and they did! Friendly staff and the restaurant is decorated really nice after the remodel. Michelada was also DELICIOUS. Will be going back!“

“I love the food here. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of customer service and the chairs. Each time I’ve been I don’t feel welcomed. Employees will literally look at you and not say anything while you wait for them to come and take your order. At least say hello and I’ll be with you in a minute. Also, the tables and chairs are uncomfortable. Other than that I love the food and come here very often. Especially late evening on the weekends.“
