“We enjoy having a quick dinner at Frontera. They have good service, Elizabeth did a nice job.Vegetarian options: If you were with non vegetarian friends, you would not starve.Kid-friendliness: Lot of kids enjoy eating with there parents here.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out“
“I was impressed with the fast service. The chips are thick, they bring two different salsas; one of which is hot. We got cheese dip with jalapeños and it had a nice texture and was not very spicy. Our entree was the chicken fajitas for two. It arrived quickly by robot. The chicken had a citrus taste, almost as if it was marinated with something like lemon. The fajitas didn’t have just peppers and onions but also yellow squash and mushrooms. I thought the flour tortillas were a little chewy. The biggest surprise of the night was that the menu prices didn’t match what our bill showed. You can check out an online menu at https://qrco.de/bbYFVP and see for yourself that my fajitas cost $30.75 on the menu yet the bill shows $31.98. At first o thought maybe the menu prices were wrong THEN I saw the discounted price for paying cash. Everything was clear then - the menu reflected cash prices. No where is this mentioned on the menu or in the restaurant. So, although the food was good, be prepared to pay more than you expect.“
“I don't have pictures, if you go on the site there are many. But, what I'll say is this has been the BEST experience I've had EVER. The waitress was the best. I'm not Spanish, but she was my "Tia" today. I will definitely go back, come Hell or high water. I experience what it feels like to transport to the PERFECT client to customer relationship. I could say so much more, just go, you'll see.❤❤❤❤???“
“If you know me, you know I love Mexican food and Tacos and Tequila never disappoints. Their drinks are delicious and so is the food. All the staff are kind and welcoming. From the moment you walk in the door till you leave they treat you so nice. Vanessa at the bar always remembers our drinks and has the best suggestions. Wonderful place“
“Service was great! Esmeralda was wonderful and very knowledgeable! First time for going to this new restaurant, ambiance was amazing and will for sure be back! Steak fajitas were awesome and my jalepeno margarita was the best I've had!!“
“I recently had the pleasure of joining a friend at Tequila Mama for lunch and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the ambiance charming, and the service outstanding.I felt like a valued guest from the moment I arrived. Our server, Edith, was a gem. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on.The restaurant itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. The attention to detail in the decor added to the overall charm of the place. Before I left, David spent some time welcoming me to the restaurant as he heard it was my first time there.I highly recommend Tequila Mama to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. From the delectable food to the top-notch service, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their culinary delights.“
“Had a great experience tonight at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food was very fresh and delicious as always; the shrimp chipotle salad is a healthy favorite. William was excellent with friendly, quick, and professional service. Will definitely be back.“
“Had the opportunity to eat here yesterday and I'm so glad I took it. Food was delicious, I order a burrito al carbón, thanks to the recommendation of the chef and a pomegranate margarita thanks to Marlen's (our server) suggestion. Marlen's service and attention was also amazing.“
“So glad to have stumbled into such a great restaurant! Food was amazing, ambiance was great. You get a lot of food for the price. Unlike other restaurants we’ve been to recently, the place was also fully staffed, and you get excellent service as a result. Can’t wait to go back!“
“Clean atmosphere, DELICIOUS SOPES AND TAMALES. I truly cannot believe anyone would rate this lower than 5 stars. I got the pork green tamale and the al pastor sope. Do not pass this place up. Best tamale of my life. I went in the morning and everything was so fresh and delicious. Pricing is very reasonable. Give it a shot.“
“Not sure who the manager is here, but they do an amazing job at training. Place was packed on a Friday, but the servers didn't seem overwhelmed or flustered. Juan was great, personable, and attentielve. We just moved to Buford from Sugar Hill, so we know many of the local spots and this was one of the best. Service amazing. They all work together. Everyone was well connected and knew when the food was taking a little longer than usual. Victor was awesome as well. Very aware, energetic, and made sure the food came out great. The food: some of the best I've had on the north side. I got the Whole Snapper(under 20 bucks, which is a great deal) . My wife got the quesatacos with chicken. Definitely the best we have had. Better than Bravos. My daughter got the burrito and rice. All very good. Margaritas were made well and appropriately priced. This will be one of our new spots for sure. Highly recommend. Ask for Juan and Victor. Visit CDEATSATLANTA on tiktok for a review soon!“
“Service was great! The appetizer trio was delicious. You can tell the chips are homemade. The steak quesadilla was very good! Only constructive criticism I can give is that the fat wasn't rendered well on the pork belly and it was chewy, but I could tell the flavor/seasoning was good.“
“We really enjoyed visiting this spot while on vacation. The margaritas were delicious and the queso was amazing! The enchiladas and tacos were made to perfection. We truly appreciated the fact that they have a kids play area outside so the kids could get their energy out while we were waiting for the food. The atmosphere is fun and there’s plenty of screens if you want to catch a game or watch TV. Highly recommend, if you’re in the area!“
“Don't be fooled into thinking all latin food is the same. Betos does a great job in capturing the street cuisine in central Mexico. This is different than the style you'd find in Baja. The flavors are great and the service is fast and on point. You can't go wrong with trying many (if not all) of the different street tacos.“
“We poured in 20 deep, and they accommodated us in a spectacular manner. The food was AMAZING, very homemade feel and fresh taste. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. They made the experience delightful, not stressful. Definitely recommend this place for authentic Mexican food.“
“We are trying Frida's for the first time. The food was good, but extremely full of fat. The waiter was caught pointing and laughing at my wife as her hair is falling out due to her Chemo. That withstanding, I would say it was an overall good experience. 8/10 would come back.“
“Being born and raised in Mexico and now residing near Chicago Illinois, Little Village Lao known as Little Mexico, I’m always looking for authentic Mexican food when I travel. I’m in town to see my boyfriend nd asked him for a good authentic Mexican restaurant. He’s Panamanian and doesn’t really eat Mexican food, I know, how is he alive lol jk. I went on google and searched, read reviews and found Tacos El Poli, as usual I was right. I’m able to tell not by the reviews but by the pictures and the menu, and the pictures here didn’t do it justice. Service was excellent, our waiter was super nice. As we were ordering, he mentioned tortillas were hand made!! YESSSS!!! I definitely recommend this place and will for sure come every time im in town. Even my boyfriend who las had Mexican food five years ago like the food. Thanks Tacos El Poli. We had tacos, because it’s what I was craving, they had quesadilla de flor de calabaza which was delish and grilled peppers and grilled cactus. Made me feel like I was in Mexico or back home in little village where they have so many authentic Mexican food restaurants.Kid-friendliness: They do have a full bar but the ambiance is also kid nd family oriented. I would bring my kids.“
“So normally I would never stop at any restaurant directly next to a gas station.... With that being said I am extremely glad that I stopped here. This place is absolutely delicious and I try to stop every time I pass by... Shrimp tacos and the burritos are amazing...“
“I recently went to Georgia from Guadalajara, I wanted some Mexican food and was impressed by the original Mexican taste of this place, plus the awesome attention of cute Latino ladies at the restaurant. Very clean and safe. I went with my wife, 3 daughters and other relatives and we all were very satisfied.“
“We celebrated my daughter's birthday at this restaurant. Initially, we didn't expect to enjoy ourselves so much since they had someone they're singing karaoke the whole time. But, this woman threw down on the karaoke machine. She sang every genre you can think of. It was definitely like having live entertainment there. My family and friends and my daughter especially had so much fun at this restaurant. The waitress gave the karaoke singer request and she's sang them perfectly! She had us dancing in our chairs, applauding and everything. Two strangers gave my daughter $20 each for her birthday, she was in shock ? but very happy. One woman told me I was amazing for getting up dancing to take my tip to the karaoke singer. There were 10 people in our party and it was really a great time. The server, the food oh my goodness just some of the best Mexican food I've ever tasted and it came out fast. This was definitely a five star experience that we will never forget.“
“Giving this place 5 stars bc everything about it gave 5 star energy, the location, hours, customer service, and especially the taste of the food and salsas. I ordered two chicken tortas and two Jarritos. It was a little pricey ($30, w/o the tip) but I can’t complain about anything. Maybe one suggestion - I came from the Shorty Howell Park, so a bottle of water would’ve hit the spot if they sold any. Would order from here again.“
“Best Mexican food in the Dacula area! Everything is so authentic and the staff is always friendly. The quesadillas are amazing especially the carne asada. The tacos are very authentic and delicious - Great with the salsa! My family loved the Al pastor. The seasoning on the meat is perfect. We ended up ordering the tacos and quesadillas for my son’s rehearsal dinner. They did an amazing job and all of our family and friends were so complimentary of the food. My son’s fiancé’s family is from Guatemala and raved about the food. It was a hit and no one was disappointed. Highly recommend this place and love that we can get this quality of food locally.“
“I absolutely love the service and delicious food at this place. The staff, particularly the ladies serving, always greet with a smile and are incredibly accommodating. I enjoy the peaceful and secure atmosphere, making it a perfect place to dine and enjoy quality time with my family.I love the service and delicious food at this place. The girls who serve always have a smile and the best disposition. I enjoy a calm and safe environment, which makes it the perfect place to eat and enjoy with the family.“
“The flavors are all authentic. I only ordered a steak burrito but it tastes just like this place I used to go to in Oklahoma called El Pollo Regio (El Pollo Regio was also attached to a gas station so that’s how I knew this place was legit lol). This place brought back so many happy memories from when I was growing up, and now i can finally have a taste of home all the way on the east coast.“
“My third time eating food from here & I am genuinely happy with every meal I have ever had. Chips are good, salsa is good but would love a hotter version. Never asked for one so in fairness to those place, they could have that option! Son got the Fajitas Trio and said it was delicious. Husband got the fajitas quesadillas and enjoyed it. I got the Brisket Quesadillas and could only finish one bc they were huge and filled with meat! What a problem to have, right?? Love the big portions and well seasoned food. Our waitress was excellent! They were packed last night but she made sure we never had to wait for a thing. Side note, please tip your waitstaff at least 20%! We normally tip 25-30% but I know that can push it for some folks. If one can afford to eat out, one can afford to tip fairly. Otherwise, eat at home. We will be back!“
“I had a very good experience here. Great customer service and environment. Been having bad experiences at Atlanta restaurants this one was a blessingParking: Very great parkingKid-friendliness: Very accommodating when it came to me and my kids“
“So good!! It looked a bit crowded and there was a line, but these folks work efficiently and the line moved along in no time. It's like a Subway setup: choose what you want, choose your protein, veggies, toppings, etc. At the end, pay and put your stuff on a tray and find a seat. I had the quesadillas, super yummy. They also have bowls, tacos, nachos, all of the normal stuff. Everything was very flavorful and fresh. Good salsa too. So next door is their frozen margarita bar area, they have TONS of different options for margs. Also have mixed drinks and beer. Great experience!!“
“Hidden GEM! This place is PHENOMENAL. Definitely my new place for Mexican. Authentic and DELICIOUS! We’ve come here many times and each time just YUM! Service is great, better atmosphere than a hole in the wall. The manager/owner is fantastic. Definitely go if you get a chance! You won’t regret it!“
“Love this family owned restaurant. I stop at least once a month to pick up take-out for family dinner. My new favorite thing to do is sit at the bar and enjoy a margarita & chips before I get my take-out because the vibe is so warm & friendly. Also my favorite restaurant salsa!“
“Pretty great tacos. Location is within a gas station, but don't let that fool you. The tacos I tried were great. There are not a lot of topping options, you choose between about 3 meats, but the quality is there and fresh. The pricing is fair as well.“
“Quality food and drinks!!! The customer service here is outstanding, the restaurant nice and very clean. The environment here is a 10/10.Parking: Lots of space to park, free parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, high chairs available“
“I've had like 30 tacos since my last post. All of them being Al Pastor tacos. I can still say I haven't had a bad taco yet. The bank account isn't getting hit hard either with the low prices! I still get a drink as well! Amazing place! Almost heaven!“
“Always been a fan of Pure. Was excited tonight when pork was their braised meat of the day today, meaning they could make the off menu Torta Cubana, a previous menu favorite that was removed when they stopped regularly having pork. My daughter got the burrito ahagado, with chicken. This thing was huge. We started with chips and queso. The house made chips are great, crunchy, just the right amount of greasy, and great with cheese. Highly recommend most of their menu, but wish they would bring back their original chicken fajitas, those were the best. The new chicken fajita is not nearly as good, although still worth ordering.“
“My lady and I had a lovely night at Lolita’s! Our server was very charismatic and light-hearted, as well as accommodated any requests we had! Food was about $60 (before tax & tip) for the both of us, including a nice set of drinks! (Pictures included)“
“Street tacos and Beto's Burrito with shrimp are our go-to's. The Alhambre, fish and shrimp tacos are my usual, but today I tried the taco with nopales & it was delicious! I have a new favorite!Update 2024: I've been to other locations and this one is STILL my favorite!!! Not only do I enjoy the food more here... I appreciate the overall experience. The staff is so welcoming and I enjoy being able to have conversations with the staff, in Spanish. Today, I met Jorge and the chef! ?“
“It is a great place for burritos. They are huge!!! we normally eat two in other places... here I couldn't barely finish the half of one. Very friendly people. The only thing is the location... that gas station is a bit scary...but other than that perfect for take out.“
“Great food. I'd say one of the best, if not the best Mexican for food and variety in the area. Prices vary, but the premium dishes aren't cheap. That said I think it's value all around. Go for the food!Vegetarian options: One of the better vegetarian dishes out there. Can't remember the name, but it's under vegetarian options. I often get it as a sharable appetizer.“
“Yummy I love the fish tacos and the rice and beans. The chicken and rice soup is fantastic too! Love these guys!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fish tacos!!! Of course chips and salsa and caldo de polloParking: Some saved for restaurant huge lot though“
“Outrageously delicious food in an unassuming, strip mall location. Service was great, we liked the decor ... and super delicious food!Adding this to my short-list of places to take seious foodie friends when they're in the area.Loved it!“
“I went a week or so ago and had the best experience with the Manager. I can’t remember her name but she was amazing!!! I ordered two hard shell tacos and a frozen mango margarita. My only negative is that the taco shells seemed a bit stale. I’m going to go back and repeat my order to see. Either way the service was AMAZING!!!“
“The service and food was good. The salsa had a peculiar taste that was fabulous. I plan to go back soon. The Mi Casa special had all the delights, Chalupa, taco, a great tamale, enchilada, chili relano, rice and beans. I found it tasty and priced right ?.“
“The only reason I keep coming back is the amazing service I am given by my server. He’s THE BEST. I don’t know what these reviews are talking about when criticizing him. I have nothing but great things to say about this young exceptional gentleman. Such a kind and genuine soul. I just feel the care and love he handles my food with when he brings it to me. I definitely always receive TOP NOTCH service from this gentleman. I would give a michelin star if I could just for him. Will keep coming every single week“
“Don Danny's Tacos, Pupusas & More is a hidden gem tucked away on the left side of the gas station entrance. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Their breakfast and pupusas are standout dishes, delivering authentic Mexican flavors that satisfy the palate. Despite being located in a gas station, the quality of the food is remarkable, and the prices are affordable, making it a great value for a satisfying meal. I'll definitely be returning for more of their delicious offerings.“
“After FIVE years of eating quesadillas on Friday nights, we so sad to be moving away! We love this place. It's cozy and quiet enough to enjoy the fun music. The food has been AMAZING, every single visit. Even through the take out phase of COVID. The cheese is melty. The chicken tender and tasty. The salsa is perfectly seasoned. Leonora always takes such care of us. If you haven't eaten here yet because it is in a little strip mall with a gas station, GET IN HERE!!“
“The yuca fried was plentiful and delicious. I am not a big fan of the ketchup-mayo dipping sauce it comes with, but another person at the table liked it. The empanadas were tasty and high quality shredded beef inside. The Don Julio margarita I had was strong but not my favorite tbh.The prices here are generally more expensive than going to Papi's Cuban, but Armandos is the only place like this around for a 20 minute drive.“
“Updated 11-30-2023:I returned today for lunch. The music was not as loud but still louder than original visits. You can overlook it if you try and you and other guests speak loudly.Updsti g review from 3 to 4 stars.Been here a few times and the food is good, service is good, place is clean. My latest visit though the music was too loud.I asked the staff to please turn it down and they said they can't...only the manager can.So owner or manager, if you are reading this know we don't want loud music. I can't even talk to my friend over the music. If you respond and confirm the volume will be kept normal I'll visit again and update my review. Others be aware.“
“Honestly surprised that this place doesn’t have 5 stars. It’s my favorite Mexican place. The food always is fresh and they are always generous with their portions! I loved and recommend everything I’ve tried before: the salmon mango salad, burrito bowl, Baja fish and carne asada tacos, and the fajita shrimp quesadillas. Their margs are great - handcrafted tastes fresh and the large flavored house margs are strong!“
“Service and atmosphere was lively. Food was very delicious. I ordered Pastor and Asada tacos. I would have rather the tortillas been hand made, but it still tasted great. I would go again.Kid-friendliness: They have a great deal on their kids menu! It’s a combination of Mexican and American food. My kids loved it!“
“Everything is very delicious! ? * Very affordable prices! ? And the waitress Yesica is very friendly and helpful! ? What is needed nowadays is for the waiters to be more pleasant and for the tip to be earned and not included in the ticket. ✍️ We will be back soon! ☺️Parking: Very spacious! ?“
“Had an informal get-together... people just rolled up and joined, so we were very happy with the establishments' welcoming atmosphere, considering we had no idea how many might show up.Taco Feast was good... for the three in our part of the party, we ended up taking some of it home.Trio was okay... the cheese kept cooling too fast and forming a skin on top, though. (And we never did get the more chips we were told were coming)Burrito bowl was flavorful and very enjoyable. The Birria quesadilla is bomb! You need to get this! We're going to pass on everything else next time and only order these!“
