“Went to Hana no Sato one night and got the Kaarage Chicken Bento which is pretty reasonably priced the Chicken was flavorful and juicy, I got it with the salad which was fresh and the dressing was tasty. they were very friendly and seems parking is not too bad as i found a parking space right out front although there is some parking in the back, hope to vist soon again.“
“Wagaya is a delightful dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere exudes warmth and comfort, making it the perfect setting for a casual meal or special occasion. The food is consistently fantastic, with a diverse menu offering something for every palate. But what truly sets Wagaya apart is its impeccable service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that every visit is memorable. Whether you're a regular or a first-time guest, Wagaya never disappoints.“
“Alright, listen up, I gotta tell you about this ramen spot, it's tremendous. Small place, real busy, but let me tell you, it's a hidden gem, believe me. You gotta go out of your way to find it, but when you do, it's a real treat. The ramen, it's the best, the most delicious you've ever had. Especially that spicy one, it's unbelievable. And the staff, they're fantastic. So friendly, makes you feel like you're hanging out with friends. It's a little joint, but it packs a punch. If you want an authentic ramen experience, you gotta check out this hidden gem. Tremendous food, tremendous service, you're gonna love it, I'm telling you.“
“My family got this place from a Youtube best places to eat video, and let me tell you we were NOT disappointed. After careful consideration and reading reviews we decided we had to try the 'beefy wild' ramen and the Seabura ramen. Both were so so delicious. Unlocking the true potential of our tastebuds, truely. I can confidently say that this was the BEST ramen I've ever had in my entire life. We HIGHLY recommend coming here for a delightful ramen experience. They cook the broth over a total of 25 hours to get the most premium flavor and consistency of their beef broth. Furthermore, the service is amazing. Our waiter Jeremiah was extremely nice and helpful. We will be comparing every other ramen to this one from now on, and fear that it will never be topped.“
“Small place nested in market city the parking has ample space and is make a reservation due to the size but walking in odd hours works too. The broth is so flavorful and the fresh locally sourced vegetables are delicious, the staff are excellent in recommending different broths to your liking since there are a pretty robust variety. They also have zosui (the rice dish ) you make at the end with all the delicious flavors you incorporated into the broth.“
“Good & legit ramen, with legit noodles! My number one pet peeve about most ramen places in Hawaii is they use the chinese-egg-noodle-kind "ramen noodles" and it definitely ain't the same. They also do the broth here really good. Their egg and charsu is also super on point. COME HERE!! 10/10“
“Oh gosh...chicken over rice is so bombastic! It sounds incredibly boring but it is an amazing dish. The chicken is so tasty and when put over the turmeric rice and served with a freshly washed, cold salad, it is even more delicious! In February alone, I went 3 times and have bought 5 chicken over rice meals!! It is THAT good!! The people are super friendly and they even remembered me ("Thank you for coming back!" ).“
“Their food is sooooo good, customer service is great as well, and so are their prices. This is my favorite ramen place on the entire island! Unfortunately theyre closed from March 7th-March 27th but once they reopen, I’ll be the first at the door!“
“Cute and cozy place right next to karaoke! The black garlic ramen was delicious (take it from someone who's tried lots of great ramen). Their cocktails were great too! Friendly staff as well! Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.“
“This restaurant was one of the highlights of my trip to Honolulu! The ramen (both tonkotsu and tan-tan) has a rich, flavorful broth with excellent noodles and toppings. The service and atmosphere are also very nice and the price is totally fair. 100% recommend!“
“Excellent food!! Abundant flavors! Small place to dine, but that's never an issue when food and service are both great! Quaint place. The depth of the broth... makes you look at your person and say "Wow! That is delicious! You should try this broth." The flavor and tenderness of the gyoza was beyond! Our toddler wouldn't stop eating the gyoza even without the sauce. He gobbled up the miso broth too. I think I ordered another gyoza to go, it was so good! This is a must when we come back to visit the islands again! Affordable and amazing food!“
“Food is delicious and does not disappoint at all.Consistency is on point as always. Service is so good and very friendly workers and has great customer service. The place is small, not that small but very clean. Until next time, Santouka Ramen, when I'm craving my spicy Ramen and gyoza.“
“My friend took me here after he had tried it out. He recommended this place a few times but we haven't had the time to go until now.The location is right across from the Blaisdell Concert Hall and Thomas Square. This is a relatively small restaurant so there is limited indoor seating with a few tables outside. We had to sit outside because when had gone during lunch and it was busy. The food here is great. I had the Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, Gyoza, and Chicken Karaage. All the items were prepared perfectly.I really enjoyed the food here and would not hesitate to go back.“
“I came w a party of about six and we were seated right away. It was a good spot to sit and talk and staff was very attentive to our needs. Food was awesome, so satisfying everyone at our table was silently eating and we paused and everyone commended how good the food was! Loved the space, the ramen really hit the spot and the staff was more than happy to help out when we asked for another order or when they poured more water for us. Mahalo !“
“Service from youngsters is local, friendly and sincere. Shirokiya bar furniture and stools not comfy so no leaning back to relax. Shio noodles were lighter than other faves, lil salty and vegies fresh. Tsukumen was also decent. Char siu on round thick side but good. Enjoyed kimchi wontons but wanna try gyozas. Garlic fried rice was small bowl for $6 but tasty. No alcohol nor BYOB so definitely a takeout choice.“
“Taste◎Miso ramen is very delicious! !Price◎・All ramen costs about $9-12, which is reasonable.・Combo set for $5 (mini fried rice and 4 gyoza) is recommended・15% off coupon available (limited time, conditions apply)・Ordered 2 sets of ramen combo. 3 adults + 1 child were able to eat to their fill.Service◎There was a Japanese staff member, and without saying anything, they provided chopsticks and spoons for each person, as well as serving plates, spoons, and forks for the children. They were very kind and polite.“
“I’ve been eating at this restaurant since I was a kid when the previous location was at Dillingham. It’s one of my favorite “comfort food”restaurants and it brings back a lot of memories. I love their saimin w shrimp tempura, miso butterfish and shrimp tempura plate. I’m glad they are still around. I know they have a new location but the nostalgia, the ono food and family memories is what brings me back here. I was recently there for a birthday dinner and our waitress was friendly and efficient. Tanaka Saimin #1Oahu, Hawaii“
“What a lovely little spot! Always drove by but never tried until yesterday! Service was quick & friendly. They have so many options from curry to ramen to rice plates. And I love how many combo choices there are! We got "mini" combos but they came with so much food! My mochiko chicken curry came along with a small ramen AND 4 big juicy pieces of gyoza. So much food for such a good price! Hubby & I will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu options :)“
“Went here for lunch the other day with the work buddy. It's been a while since I ate here, so wanted to check if it still had the ono grinds. I didn't eat breakfast, so I decided to the BEAST BOWL. Wish we could've got some midday libations but we were still working. It wasn't that crowded when we were seated but by the time we left it was getting full. Got my BEAST BOWL, oh my words it had the meats, the umami, the meats, the noodles, the meats, the gooey egg, did I mention the MEATS. According to work buddy, I could've just said some of the meat and had it later with rice as snack or something, but why would I do that, you needs to eat all of the MEATS. I mean buggah was very filling and I am bulking for the summer. Hah. Anyways, the brisket and short ribs were soooo tender. The oxtail won ton, wrapped meaty goodness. I shouldn't have eaten it all, but I had to. Broth was nice and rich. KANAK ATTACK. It's a good thing we walked from the office, so the opu had chance for digest all the MEAT. I forgot the name of what work buddy got, but she liked and had some self control and saved some of her dish for snack time later. All in all, they still have the good eats. Staff was friendly and attentive. Place was chill and good vibes.“
“Visited Golden Pork Tonkotsu Ramen Bar recently and I've got to say, the flavors here are a real journey for the taste buds! The original tonkotsu broth was rich and deeply flavorful, offering a creamy and hearty experience that I absolutely loved. I also tried the spicy flavor broth, and while it packs a punch with its heavy spiciness, I found myself leaning more towards the original flavor for its pure, unadulterated richness. The chicken karaage, on the other hand, was a bit on the dry side for my liking. It's not a deal-breaker by any means but something for the kitchen to note.Overall, this place serves up some seriously delicious ramen with broths that are bursting with flavor. It's a solid choice for any ramen lover out there. I'm giving it a well-deserved four stars. Highly recommend trying the original tonkotsu broth if you're visiting for the first time!“
