“Good Ramen and Curry options. Their combination options are fairly priced. A favorite of ours is combo A: small Ramen with 4 gyoza on the side and either the katsu or beef curry. A comfortable atmosphere with friendly service and lots of free parking.“
“This is a ramen spot, but all their workers spoke Mandarin. It didn't matter though. The food was fantastic and a good value. We got the Special Combo set. They have three to choose from. We got the set with ramen. You get a small ramen with two sides. We chose the black garlic broth which was $1.50 more, so $15.75 for each meal. The black garlic ramen was fantastic. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was tasty. Thankfully, it wasn't watered down. Their broths are simmered for 12 hours daily. The sides were all good as well. I got the calamari rings and gyoza. It was a decent size and filled with pork and veggies. My hubby got the mochiko chicken and chicken katsu. What really made me notice this place is what I heard and not what I seen. The table next to us ordered the fried rice. I grew up eating Chinese food and probably eaten at a thousand Chinese restaurants. That sound of metal clinking on the wok with the fire flaring doesn't escape my ears. I was just eating my ramen when I heard that sound. My ears perked up. I knew that they were making the fried rice and that it was going to be filled with wok hei. That's how I knew this place was legit.“
“Palace Saimin on King Street is a true hidden gem that transports you back in time with its old-school taste done right. This quaint spot may be small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in flavor. The menu is super simple, featuring saimin, udon, and BBQ sticks - perfect for those who know exactly what they're craving. While seating can be a bit of a challenge depending on when you arrive, the quick and friendly service more than makes up for it. Just a heads-up, parking is limited to a few stalls in front, and whatever you do, DO NOT park at the Post Office across the street. If you're in the mood for some authentic local comfort food, Palace Saimin is the place to be!“
“Their food is sooooo good, customer service is great as well, and so are their prices. This is my favorite ramen place on the entire island! Unfortunately theyre closed from March 7th-March 27th but once they reopen, I’ll be the first at the door!“
“This is by the Kapolei theaters, the older one. We came on a Saturday after noon a little after lunch around 230pm and it was empty...just how I like it lol the workers were nice to greet us and the place was really clean. The place was pretty spacious I must say. Our server took out orders and always filled our waters. You cannot beat ordering the combo meal. I got the mini ramen with black garlic which was additional. My sides were takoyaki and mini curry. I must say, the mini curry wasn't mini it was pretty regular size looking lol I couldn't finish most of it so we took it home and had it for dinner. Everything tasted great! I did however take down a star because we ordered gyoza but the server did not mention anything about getting free gyoza during their happy hour until we paid and got in our car and seen the window display. Our fault also we should've looked prior.“
“It is one of the few places that still serves old kine local style comfort food. I had the Hearty Meal, which was lightly coated pork chops, fried shoyu chicken, and spam. Onolicious, sorry, no pictures. You just got to go and see and eat it yourself.“
“Excellent food!! Abundant flavors! Small place to dine, but that's never an issue when food and service are both great! Quaint place. The depth of the broth... makes you look at your person and say "Wow! That is delicious! You should try this broth." The flavor and tenderness of the gyoza was beyond! Our toddler wouldn't stop eating the gyoza even without the sauce. He gobbled up the miso broth too. I think I ordered another gyoza to go, it was so good! This is a must when we come back to visit the islands again! Affordable and amazing food!“
“This place was everything I hoped it would be. So incredibly delicious. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The food portions were huge. The spice level was awesome! My only wish world be this place were bigger to fit more people! Love love loved it! We had the chicken fried rice, dumplings, spicy beef udon, fried chicken and noodle, curry Ramen. So so good!Kid-friendliness: They were so helpful for ordering for picky kids.“
“This place is a must try if you haven't been here. It's very simple. Grab a basket and fill it with whatever you want from many different choices of meat, seafood, and vegetables. But be careful, the price is based on weight. Take your basket to the counter and choose your noodles and soup base. The choice of soup base is great. I personally enjoy the lemon grass soup the most. They also serve non-soup items. To top off your experience, you get a free shaved ice dessert. Yes, I said free dessert! I frequent BYOD and will be as long as they are still around.“
“It was a nice change to takeout from here. Haven't gone in years. Both of us were craving for gyoza. I also ordered 2 chicken katsu curry plates (without the curry). Thought I'd be charged less without the curry but it was the same price. I went back a few minutes later to confirm the price. Waitress said there was no lesser charge and asked if I wanted the curry. That was very nice of her. She packed the curry in a takeout container and gave it to me without looking annoyed. I appreciated that great customer service. Gyoza tasted perfect!“
“A great classic restaurant in EWA Beach by ilima intermediate School. I love that are one of the only places that give jello or mac salad for your order. My personal favorite are the meat jun, teri meatballs and french fries. - minister Baris“
