“We were so busy tonight running errands that we had little time or thought for dinner. My wife and I were hungry and I didn't have much cash on me. We were on H1 headed home and called ahead for an order of pork fried rice. It was very good. We also asked for a small to go cup of vinegar to "kick it up a notch"! Lol. We also added a bit of Tabasco just to open the nasal passages. Lol. The response time was quick and the food hot and ready as soon as I got to the restaurant. We love the large healthy serving size for the money. My wife and I split it down the middle without argument, which was nice for a change. See the picture below and keep in mind this is one serving. Yup, well worth the visit. I'm stuffed!“
“After a medical procedure in Pearl City, we decided to grab lunch at Daiichi Ramen. The food here was really good and the service was great. My mom really enjoyed Shrimp curry. Generous portions- crispy light battered shrimp and curry with nice chunky well cooked veggie pieces. My Mochiko chicken was yummy. Lots of flavor with the spices. My husband had the Pork fried rice with a side order of Chicken Katsu which he liked and we all three shared croquettes and gyoza. The gyoza was full of flavor and very tasty. The croquettes were good- I prefer them more on the crispy side, but it’s a minor thing. Staff was very nice & helpful. Packed my order nicely in a box taped down well for the ride home in the truck and opened the door for me to leave. The Inside was small but clean and parking was decent- gets much busier during lunchtime of course, so come earlier if decide to check it out. Mahalo for reading and have a Beautiful Day! ??“
“Visited Golden Pork Tonkotsu Ramen Bar recently and I've got to say, the flavors here are a real journey for the taste buds! The original tonkotsu broth was rich and deeply flavorful, offering a creamy and hearty experience that I absolutely loved. I also tried the spicy flavor broth, and while it packs a punch with its heavy spiciness, I found myself leaning more towards the original flavor for its pure, unadulterated richness.The chicken karaage, on the other hand, was a bit on the dry side for my liking. It's not a deal-breaker by any means but something for the kitchen to note.Overall, this place serves up some seriously delicious ramen with broths that are bursting with flavor. It's a solid choice for any ramen lover out there. I'm giving it a well-deserved four stars. Highly recommend trying the original tonkotsu broth if you're visiting for the first time!“
“My family got this place from a Youtube best places to eat video, and let me tell you we were NOT disappointed. After careful consideration and reading reviews we decided we had to try the 'beefy wild' ramen and the Seabura ramen. Both were so so delicious. Unlocking the true potential of our tastebuds, truely. I can confidently say that this was the BEST ramen I've ever had in my entire life. We HIGHLY recommend coming here for a delightful ramen experience. They cook the broth over a total of 25 hours to get the most premium flavor and consistency of their beef broth. Furthermore, the service is amazing. Our waiter Jeremiah was extremely nice and helpful. We will be comparing every other ramen to this one from now on, and fear that it will never be topped.“

“Oh gosh...chicken over rice is so bombastic! It sounds incredibly boring but it is an amazing dish. The chicken is so tasty and when put over the turmeric rice and served with a freshly washed, cold salad, it is even more delicious! In February alone, I went 3 times and have bought 5 chicken over rice meals!! It is THAT good!! The people are super friendly and they even remembered me ("Thank you for coming back!" ).“

“This is by the Kapolei theaters, the older one. We came on a Saturday after noon a little after lunch around 230pm and it was empty...just how I like it lol the workers were nice to greet us and the place was really clean. The place was pretty spacious I must say. Our server took out orders and always filled our waters. You cannot beat ordering the combo meal. I got the mini ramen with black garlic which was additional. My sides were takoyaki and mini curry. I must say, the mini curry wasn't mini it was pretty regular size looking lol I couldn't finish most of it so we took it home and had it for dinner. Everything tasted great! I did however take down a star because we ordered gyoza but the server did not mention anything about getting free gyoza during their happy hour until we paid and got in our car and seen the window display. Our fault also we should've looked prior.“
“Excellent food!! Abundant flavors! Small place to dine, but that's never an issue when food and service are both great! Quaint place. The depth of the broth... makes you look at your person and say "Wow! That is delicious! You should try this broth." The flavor and tenderness of the gyoza was beyond! Our toddler wouldn't stop eating the gyoza even without the sauce. He gobbled up the miso broth too. “I came w a party of about six and we were seated right away. It was a good spot to sit and talk and staff was very attentive to our needs. Food was awesome, so satisfying everyone at our table was silently eating and we paused and everyone commended how good the food was! Loved the space, the ramen really hit the spot and the staff was more than happy to help out when we asked for another order or when they poured more water for us. Mahalo !“

He recommended this place a few times but we haven't had the time to go until now.The location is right across from the Blaisdell Concert Hall and Thomas Square. This is a relatively small restaurant so there is limited indoor seating with a few tables outside. We had to sit outside because when had gone during lunch and it was busy.The food here is great. “I’ve been eating at this restaurant since I was a kid when the previous location was at Dillingham. It’s one of my favorite “comfort food”restaurants and it brings back a lot of memories. I love their saimin w shrimp tempura, miso butterfish and shrimp tempura plate. I’m glad they are still around. I know they have a new location but the nostalgia, the ono food and family memories is what brings me back here. “Went here for lunch the other day with the work buddy. It's been a while since I ate here, so wanted to check if it still had the ono grinds. I didn't eat breakfast, so I decided to the BEAST BOWL. Wish we could've got some midday libations but we were still working. It wasn't that crowded when we were seated but by the time we left it was getting full. Got my BEAST BOWL, oh my words it had the meats, the umami, the meats, the noodles, the meats, the gooey egg, did I mention the MEATS. According to work buddy, I could've just said some of the meat and had it later with rice as snack or something, but why would I do that, you needs to eat all of the MEATS. I mean buggah was very filling and I am bulking for the summer. Hah. Anyways, the brisket and short ribs were soooo tender. The oxtail won ton, wrapped meaty goodness. I shouldn't have eaten it all, but I had to. Broth was nice and rich. KANAK ATTACK. It's a good thing we walked from the office, so the opu had chance for digest all the MEAT. I forgot the name of what work buddy got, but she liked and had some self control and saved some of her dish for snack time later. All in all, they still have the good eats. Staff was friendly and attentive. Place was chill and good vibes.“
“It was a nice change to takeout from here. Haven't gone in years. Both of us were craving for gyoza. I also ordered 2 chicken katsu curry plates (without the curry). Thought I'd be charged less without the curry but it was the same price. I went back a few minutes later to confirm the price. Waitress said there was no lesser charge and asked if I wanted the curry. That was very nice of her. She packed the curry in a takeout container and gave it to me without looking annoyed. “We had avoided dining here because of the health department finding them about 5 years ago. OUR LOSS! We tried it and was blown away by the food quality and taste! The restaurant is very clean, and so is the kitchen (visible through a large window behind the cashier). I've had the Japanese teshoku shrimp and the ramen set (tried the white broth which is boiled overnight and so impressed by its taste, that I ordered it again the next time we went there). Both were excellent. They also offerbrown rice which helps my diet restrictions. They are generous with the servings. The service is friendly and professional.
