“I absolutely love this boba shop located on JBPHH. The owner is always so happy to chat with the customers and each drink is made to order. The dragon fruit drink is full of flavor and the color is vibrant. I also ordered a mango drink and it was perfect and not too sweet. Plus the sizes are very generous for the price. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Military base access is required to go to the shop.”
“Great place to watch sports. They will put on anything you want to see. 9 hole par 3 for cheap. No food, just popcorn ?. Bring a card ,no cash accepted. Friendly local patrons, everybody welcome.”
“Sometimes I think I should switch up my routine and go somewhere else for a walk and somewhere else for a breakfast sandwich but this place is just so yummy and a great view!”
“Excellent food and service. My wife and I were there for the Navy’s 248th Birthday Meal. The beef, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, corn, vegetables, and salad were delicious. Good crab legs though a bit salty. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere.”
“Awesome restaurant on JBPHH if you're looking for quick and easy food & service with any crowd! The outside patio area is huge, and we often see tons of kiddos playing around, which is nice to see. We have only come here for DJ Bingo on Saturday evenings so far, so we've not had much of the food yet, but not a bad beer selection on tap!The staff are really friendly and efficient as well, lovely ladies at the counter!”
“It may not seem like much at first glance, with a limited selection of drinks to choose from at this bar, but a few good pointers to note is the drinks range from about 4.50-5, and have a decent cost on pitchers too. There is a restaurant next door that serves wings, jerk chicken, and a few other things that you can buy that they can serve to you at the bar. The bar also has a decent amount of high table seating inside, and plenty of tables outside, with some being under the cover of the extension of the roof. The biggest takeaway is the fact that they have 4 pool tables, and you can rent a set of balls for free, on the condition that you have to turn in a form of ID, likely your CAC. When it's not busy and people aren't waiting to rent balls, you can play until close. Otherwise, you'll only be able to rent for 1 hour and wait for your turn. The atmosphere is generally nice, and the music ranges from Techno for one playlist, to multiple forms of Rock, to some popish music. Maybe you can request, but otherwise a DJ does come around once a weekend.”
“This place was so much fun! Happy to find a line dancing bar on base! It was my first time there and heard they closed for a while and made a lot of improvements. I could tell cause everything was so clean, up to date and the floor was huge! Music was great and cant wait to go back again!”
“They have a great variety of different kinds of sandwiches and most likely you'll find something you'll orders. Everything is made fresh in front of you. Very clean too.”
“I recently visited Starbucks and had an exceptional experience, thanks to Shakila's outstanding service. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor enhanced my visit, making it truly enjoyable. The Chai latte was excellent, and Shakila's dedication to customer satisfaction stood out. I highly recommend Starbucks, especially with staff like Shakila who goes above and beyond to create a positive experience.”
“Literally the best place on all of JBPHH. Want to meet friends? Show up and introduce yourself any night after 7. Want to party? Show up around the same time. This place is the best.”
“I dont care what other people say. For me This is the best thai food truck in the island. I been a customer for 3 yrs now and i would never get tired eating their beef salad and chicken satay ? Its located now accross Boston’s North end pizza bakery in aiea.”
“They on renovation but a lot of ALOHA in this McDonald's. Dining room is close but drive through is efficient. I like they hire elder adults. I think everyone deserves a fair job.”
“Food can vary between average and outstanding. Service is always excellent and the facility is spacious, comfortable and clean. Customizable fountain drinks are a wonderful perk.”
“Always fast, polite service during lunch rush. Writing this review to commend the staff. Lady in front of me was talking into the glass then yelling when workers didn't make it correctly. Workers did a great job of responding politely even though the lady was verbally abusive to the employees. Rude lady started dropping the names of 'Subway owners', asking if 'so-and-so' still owned this Subway and named 3 separate names as owners. Had ridiculous requests that are not allowed, such as asking for more meat, and scoffing when the workers still adhered to her request. Asked for pepper after the sandwich was wrapped and in her hands. If you are going to to have ridiculous requests and be a pain to somebody making your food, go next door to the grocery store and grab some mayonnaise and bread and make your own food.”
“I didn't experience dining here I just saw this Mcdonalds Store at NEX Honolulu when I was in Hawaii. I like to make a Review about this Store because I miss my Grandpa, which happened to be this store's former Crew. Yes! My Grandpa started working here when he was already 67 and Thank you for still accepting him despite of his Age.. and Because of that He can afford to Provide my needs in High School and College and even the Things I don't need but he wants me to have like PSP and stuff even he has a Cancer... But my sick grandpa didn't stop to work and the cancer didn't stop him either. That's why I adore him! He's a Strong man and still Smiling. The day after he died he ask me some food to eat you know what was that? Mc Cafe & Fries from his favorite fastfood Mcdonals then the day after He passed away. To the Best employee of the Month (I don' t know how many Month is that) JUN, I miss you and I love you. Thank you McDonalds for being part of his and our life.💖”
“We have been a regular here for several years. We had an issue at the very beginning, years ago. Now the manager Marivic, takes amazing care of us. Some how she remembers our most liked foods. The location does have turnover, however they continue to do a great job for fast food.”
“This subway rocked. I got fresh bread luckily, and the rest was all staff. The girl changed her gloves while my food toasted and had to do other things!!! She was very clean about things, and I loved it. I don’t like when subway staff keeps gloves on the whole time but does other things but this girl knew what to do! The kitchen looks very clean as well. My sandwich was made PERFECTLY, just the best subway I’ve ever had. The staff was also friendly!! And somehow it got betted.. I got TWO white chip cookies with no nasty macadamia nuts!!! Fulfilled my pregnancy craving PERFECTLY!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Personally, I love Panda. The only reasons it doesn't get a 5 star rating is that they forget the sauce on my Teriyaki chicken sometimes and they forgot an entire plate from an order once, but they more than made up for it when I called about it.”
“The best experience ever. I have had zero issues when I have ordered in the last six months.Wheelchair accessibility: No issues getting to the counter to pay, but the doors are not automatic to get into the food court. It is not Papa John’s fault, but the base.”
“Food so ono! Everything was delicious! We had the Eggplant, Lobster pasta, Scallops, & Beets. I never thought I'd be a Beet fan, but I couldn't get enough! I'll be back!*they have the option to order from your smartphone. Personally I don't like that, but it is efficient AND the staff is happy to take your order the good old fashioned way.”
“After eating lunch in the food hall, we needed something to cleanse our palates, and matcha seemed like the perfect solution. We got the matcha and vanilla swirl and decided to get it in a cup instead of the cone--I can be clumsy sometimes so the cup seemed to be the safer option haha. The gentleman who took my order was very sweet and the order was ready as soon as I sat down at one of the tables nearby. I loved how the ice cream or soft serve wasn't very sweet, it was the perfect post-lunch dessert. For Waikiki, I thought the price was quite reasonable, so I'd definitely come back to try some of their other items.”
“Best açai bowl!!! Had it at least 3 x on our trip. Great customer service, great options and great ambience. Instagram post worthy dishes. I’m not a big waffle person but added it to my last açai bowl order and wow these were also good! Our party of 4 all enjoyed our food choices. Keep up the big smiles and great work :)”
“Love this place. Got me going back to Chinatown. The only bad thing is that they have to get rid of the attitude of hurry up and finish your drink, here's the check. Here's your hat what's your hurry?”
“I've been wanting to try this place for over a long time now and FINALLY got a chance a chance to go!! Luckily it was early on a Wednesday night and we were able to walk in without reservations. But with only two guys working they limited the seating. Located in the a tiny intimate space with a bar and some tables I heard that the best seats are at the bar with front row seats so you can see the bartenders do their thing. We were seated on a table where we couldn't see but it's ok because we were engaged in conversation all night. Love that we all got different things and got to try each other's drinks. Everything was crafted with excellent care and beautifully and articulately presented with a short narrative about each drink. The starred ones were my faves. Round 1: ***E ho'o pau mai tai-12 year rum, spices: orgeat, fig lime, absinthe, keawe wood smoke. My friend said this was the world's best mai tai. I always wonder how anyone can make that claim unless they have literally travelled the world and tasted every maitai. They might not be wrong though, because this award winning drink was one of the best maitais I've ever had!!! Not too sweet, much more complex than your typical beach drink, and full of wonderful flavors! Masterfully made! **Kisetsu Sour/ lilikoi - changes seasonally - Nikka Coffey gin, mason pepper, yuzu, bergamot, lilikoi, lemon, tonic . This drink changes with the "seasons". Beautiful, refreshing and too easy to drink! Espresso martini- haku vodka, pandan, cynar, sesame, cold brew, whole egg. They smoke the espresso beans in front of you. My friend liked his drink more than I did. Round 2: Red Shiso smash- (not on the menu)-Toki, red shiso, lemon, yuzu, wasabon sugar, soda. Good but not my favorite. ***El Umami- tequila, mezcal, bergamot, strawberry, tomato, bergamot- lovely in looks and taste! A little sweet, a little smoky. Roma Norte- mezcal, chile verde, grapefruit, honey, black pepper, frozen apple. Super cool presentation. Good if you like smoky. ***Smoked salmon- bourbon smoked salmon, wasabi, dill oil, smoked trout roe. Soooo good! Great for sharing. Excellent servers knew we'd need more bread. Complimentary: Rice ball snacks Dessert: Ganache with yuzu- a perfect ending! Service by the guy in the leather apron and hat (sorry didn't catch his name ) was top notch. We were very well attended to. Love that they fill chilled water without having to be asked through the evening. I can see why people love this place and why it's James Beard worthy! Drinks nowadays are pricey everywhere. Theirs come with creativity, care, craftsmanship and class which give them more value than those at most other bars.”
“I didn’t want to go and was expecting some cheesy production but I’m glad I went. It was a great experience. You could tell the crew was passionate and enjoyed interacting with the guests and the food was delicious.”
“Hands down the best meal we had during a recent Hawai’i trip. Miro had been in our must-do list for some time and we certainly weren’t disappointed.Great cocktails to kick off and then a succession of delicious dishes, each beautifully presented and with intense flavours. Our first visit but not our last!”
“Stopped by this British-influenced bar and restaurant upon a recommendation on my last night in Honolulu. The service was a bit cold but the drinks definitely delivered. The cheeseboard-inspired blue cheese washed cocktail was unlike anything I’ve had with a deep savouriness balanced by the pleasant tart-sweetness of pickled grapes. It’s a showstopper. I also loved the alcoholic tepache, which is pleasantly fermented and not too sweet. Didn’t try any food but it sounded good too.”
“Stopped by Sweet E’s Café this morning and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the omelet, and my friend tried the French toast—both were amazing, made with top-notch ingredients. The café itself has a great ambiance, cozy and welcoming. The staff was on point, too: attentive, friendly, and quick to keep our coffee cups full. Definitely left feeling satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommend giving it a try!”
“Absolutely amazing experience. It did take a little while to get our food, but definitely worth the wait. The hangover burrito was outstanding, but the croissant French toast stole the show.”
“Grandson, who is in the Navy, took us there, before we headed back to the States. Food was delicious, staff was great, and her brownies were wonderful! I'd love to eat there again, if I'm in Hawaii.”
