“Perfectly located next to the ocean with crashing waves, good food and friendly staff! I enjoyed the Poke pie bowl (delicious) and my spouse ordered the trio sliders with spicy fries. The atmosphere alone encourages us to go back (there doesn't seem to be many restaurants ON the water) but we'll definitely be back for more great eats also.“
“Presentation is super cute, and flavors are excellent. Great but expensive açaí & pitaya bowls, and fancy coffee options. Service is a bit slow and there’s not a lot of seating outside, but still an easily accessible spot along the main road along Kona coast.“
“Awsome spot. View is amazing on the patio with sea view. There is enough shade to sit (in the morning at least). Coffe is good, barista is very friendly. Food is also great. I've had a egg bacon cheddar croissant and it's lovely. I would recommended going here. Even when it is just you alone.“
“Small, quaint, cozy shop. Found this place while doing a search for hot tea online, so we decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed. We ordered a German breakfast, a ham & cheese croissant, a salmon baguette with pasta, hot rooibos vanilla tea, a mocha, and a strawberry summer iced tea. I enjoyed the little I had of my order, as my children's tasting led to them devouring it. Everyone enjoyed it.“
“I ordered the chicken katsu w/walnut shrimp mixed plate combo, it was so good. The chicken katsu was crispy and didn’t taste like it came out of a box in the freezer. They give you a nice size katsu sauce that is plenty extra. The walnut shrimp was very delicious. The mac salad was good too. It was my first time coming to eat in here, definitely will not be my last. I came here really hungry, and I am leaving very happy. The service was great too. Mahalo Rainbow Cafe.“
“Acai taste really great, and the fruits on top are very fresh and tasty. But be careful with the parking sign of this plaza, even though the sign says that it is OK for customer of the store to park here for free, I still get a 55 dollars ticket for not paying for the parking(I just parked there for at most for 20 minutes), so as many of the cars near by.But you can give the ticket to the employee in the store and they can take care of it.Parking: Parking ticket“
“Excellent coffee and latte, excellent smoothie, excellent paninis. The pickles on the side were delicious. A little expensive, but pretty comparable pricing to everything else in Kona. Other places we ate were just as expensive and a little disappointing, Hungry Honu was not at all disappointing. Among all three sandwich and drink selections in our party, all were excellent.“
“I love this place!!!! Having Waimea coffee at our Hotel entrance is sooo convenient. The young man that runs it I think his name is AJ, he is so sweet. They offer some amazing coffee choices and delicious breakfast or lunch burritos. I had both and liked both. I once decided to cheat and try coffee at another "Corner" place and it was a mistake I would not make again. Here the coffee is the correct strength, flavor and choices are unlimited. They can make anything to your liking. I will miss this coffee.“
“This showed up as the closest marker/coffee place to my hotel. Lala was there bright and early. She was very nice and made sure my coffee had everything to be ready to drink immediately. She went out of her way to provide the best service with plenty of aloha.“
“Our cashier Ren was so nice! Gave us the full Aloha service! Was extremely accommodating with providing a variety of gluten free options and not just generic GF pancakes but a variety of flavors. Nice comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Short drive to the beach if you want to take your food and go eat at the beach. The macadamia pancakes were amazing. Super fluffy and moist eggs were cooked to perfection in. The spam was delicious! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options“
