“I have to say this HOME is Iike none other! It's a wonderful place to celebrate any occasion, but also a great space to be yourself and "hideaway." Special thanks to all of the great hospitable fam here, but especially Celeste! It's not this place that makes this woman stand out, but the culture definitely is elevated by her shining character! The first time I met Celeste, she was quick to support me as an individual and genuinely cared, but she also made a spot on *chefs kiss* gin martini with the right level of dirty! Thank you Sam's fam!!“
“Very mellow, Great people watching along Alii drive, beautiful views of the outriggers. Come early for happy hour this is a small place. Drinks are strong, nai Tai and ginger beer soda $17, well worth the entertainment value. Bar tender great! Feed the geikos.Parking: Parked near Don Ho's maitai bar and walked the .7 miles.“
“Perfectly located next to the ocean with crashing waves, good food and friendly staff! I enjoyed the Poke pie bowl (delicious) and my spouse ordered the trio sliders with spicy fries. The atmosphere alone encourages us to go back (there doesn't seem to be many restaurants ON the water) but we'll definitely be back for more great eats also.“
“My husband and I went to the Grand Re-Opening celebration! They had live music and plenty of seating despite the crowd. I ordered the smoked chicken and my husband ordered the combo of brisket and pulled pork. Our sides were rice, baked beans, and smoked mac n cheese. Everything was delicious! The meat was so tender and flavorful! We were very satisfied with everything. Chef AJ is amazing! We highly recommend :)“
“The pancakes are to die for in the Lava Java breakfast! Our waitresses, Tracey and Allie, was VERY understanding of our situation with having our 3 yr old child with us and us trying to enjoy the restaurant's breakfast items. They have a great sense of hospitality, and my spouse and I respect them even more for what they do. I highly recommend this place, just be here before 10 am to enjoy their food. Some of the customers here may be disrespectful and rude, but the staff here is DEFINITELY NOT! So thank the staff for what they do every chance that you get while you are there. ?“
“03.17.3024 celebrated our St Patty's anniversary with the idea of eating traditional Hawaiian food. The hostess was very nice and knowledgeable. We ordered and love the Pupu with a side order of Jasmine rice with furikake and drinks of gingerade for me and kava for my hubby. The Pupu came in a beautiful dish and enough for two to share. The gentleman who delivered our food was great as he patiently explained each dish. The open outdoor eating area was wonderful. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.“
“As a mainland visitor, what a great bar. His mom makes the wontons by hand. You can tell every local that walks in there feels at home. Should be on the spots for MUST HAVE A BEER ? my boyfriend and I had to by the chili seasoning they have. So good. ❤️?“
“As a local, this is my favorite bar in town. Roomy and open, plenty of seating for a place its size, and friendly, cheerful employees. The patronage is a diverse collection of mostly local people, and I absolutely LOVE that people can bring their dogs with them! While they have no food services, the Chinese food place next door will deliver right to your bar stool, as will the Thai place behind it.“
“If you want to impress your date or you're looking for somewhere chill and relaxed without it being too crowded, this is the place. Food is good and of course service is great. It's part of Four Seasons so you'll have to drive through the gate and find parking deeper in (lots of spots).“
