“Oh my word!! This food was the best!! I'd have to say it was my personal favorite on our visit to Hawaii. Our entire family loved everything. We dined in for lunch on our last day and the service was fantastic and the staff was friendly. My son cannot eat any dairy and everything on their menu is dairy free. In addition, the portions were huge. I couldn't finish mine and everyone else left completely stuffed. In comparison to what we spent on other meals on the Island, the pricing was a great value, especially considering the amount of food they brought. They brought out a huge serving of two separate kinds of Kim Chee and both were incredible. If you're in the area you should definitely check this place out!We tried shrimp and would recommend the katsu, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, fried and steamed dumplings, Tonkatsu, rice, soup, shrimp katsu and the amazing Kim Chee“

“The food was really delicious, but the big downside was that there was a very long waiting time. The person in front of me asked if I had ever been here before, and he started talking by saying that it was his first time here. He said that he had been waiting for over 20 minutes and it seemed like it was taking too long. If he had known, he would have gone to that Chinese restaurant over there and started talking. Then I asked the person next to me if he had ever been to this place, and he said it was delicious. Then, as more time passed, I looked inside to see why it was taking so long, and I guess they were making fresh meat and cooking it. They put side dishes and rice from the front and delivered it to the back. The person in charge of meat waited for a while, received the seasoned meat, and started cooking it. It felt like I was doing it. Meanwhile, other customers were coming and loitering in front of the ordering counter, and the lady who was taking the side dishes was doing nothing, but since the customers had been waiting for a long time, she told them to wait a moment and called a middle-aged woman who seemed to be the owner. I don't know if he went into the kitchen to help with the cooking, but it's also true that the counter is empty for a long time... .. Or, if the person next to him saw Shun about to order, he would at least tell him to wait, or he would just sit there and watch, and there would be 4-6 people waiting in line, and a few of them would go to another restaurant. And as time went by and the food was finished, it got busy as people started pouring out portions for 5 or 6 people, starting from the person in front of me. It's so nice that I get to share my food with the person in front of me who waited longer than me... It’s true that the person behind me also receives it with me… . If it was a regular restaurant, I would have understood, but other competitors in the shopping mall come out quickly (my husband got it from a local restaurant next door and has already eaten more than half of it), so I think it takes a long time because they make the meat right after ordering and cook it, but there is a Chinese restaurant in the shopping mall. If you look at it, the meat is already made and the takeout is done quickly, so Korean restaurants will probably order a lot of bulgogi just like the name of the bulgogi restaurant, so it would have been better to cook half of it and cook it a little more when ordering later, or make it in advance. I think so. Compared to cooking with rain, the taste was not much different from pre-cooking and reheating at a regular buffet restaurant, so I was even a little annoyed. It's fresh if you cook it right away, but especially!!! Who wants to wait more than 20 minutes at a busy mall during lunch hour? They want to eat quickly and do more shopping. If that's the case, just cook it, display it in front, and heat it up. Just... ..If it takes a long time, I think I'll just give up Korean food and eat local restaurant or Chinese food. If a restaurant owner sees this, I recommend that you prepare the first batch for at least 5 people during lunch time. There won't be much difference in taste... . As someone who has eaten a lot of bulgogi… Saving time is the key here! Otherwise, you will lose customers to Chinese restaurants. My heart aches at this unfortunate system.“

“Meat Jun at Tasty bbq is delicious. Ample portions and they also have delightful side dishes. So many choices outside the normal 5 or 6 that so normally see in most restaurants. We are also huge fans of the Spicy and regular bbq pork, and Kalbi. The service is great, they are attentive to helping you choose your sides and give very generous portions of those as well. My go to's are the zucchini jun, choi sum, cucumber kim chee and Taegu when they have it, otherwise double up on the zucchini it's wonderful. There is seating available and the restaurant is clean and well lit. Take out orders are ready when promised and in my case, a regular plate is dinner and tomorrow's lunch. Been a patron here for about 10 years or so and in my opinion, best Korean take out on the windward side.“

“A little pricey for Korean food, but the food was delicious. Had their meat Jun. super yummy! The meat was thin and easy to eat. Also had their bean sprouts and jap chae (sorry on spelling). But really good and flavorful! Definitely would come back!“
