“I passed by and ordered at the recommendation of a bystander who talked this place up enough for me to order on a whim. Take out only took 15 minutes and there weren’t many people waiting ahead of me. The medium rare steak was lighter in color than expected but I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and tenderness of the meat. My picky, meat-hating kid even enjoyed a few bites. We walked by later to see the sunset and the crowd for this place was much larger so definitely lucked out!“
“Thank God I used the Google Maps app to search for food after visiting Pearl Harbor and found this place. First, Joe is a delete to speak with. Kind, friendly, good story teller. Double-checked to ensure we liked spicy food because the spicy sausage was indeed “en fuego”. I ordered the ribs and a sausage to try. So thankful I did. Flavor explosion and then a very nice kick. The ribs fell off the bone when I picked it up. Perfect amount of smoke, although Joe said he left them a bit too long for his own taste. Also just the right amount of BBQ sauce. Just enough that it didn’t take away from the meat flavor. Good sweetness to it. The big surprise was the coleslaw. Some of the best I’ve had. This place was well worth the price and a damned gem on O’ahu!“
“Probably the best poke in terms of the fish itself. It's not as flavorful as one of the other poke places I visited, but this place definitely has a freshest and tastiest fish in Hawaii for poke. I saw the reviews on yelp were amazing for this place and I wasn't sure about visiting because it looked super rundown. But I'm super glad I came to visit. The fish were super good and It's prepared quickly for you. This is definitely a hole in the wall type of spot. I would definitely not have found it just drop by and I honestly am not sure if I would've visit after just seeing how it looks on the outside. Can't judge a book by its cover, because it was delicious.!! TLDR - best poke in terms of fish, definitely a hole in the wall type of spot“
“Never have I had more flavorful sushi rice. Came here for lunch and had the sushi cup, one crab and ikura and one salmon with ikura, the karaage musubi and shrimp tempura musubi. They were beautifully made and the rice was seasoned perfectly. They were fresh and were not skimpy with the ikura. They are just a takeout with only one table outside for 3 people. My friend and I just cleaned our sushi bowls (parfait of rice, edamae, salmon, etc) and musubis. This is truly a wonderful place to grab lunch! Will be back for their bentos!“
“I went here because I had heard about it in a class I was taking and I was not disappointed! I had tried almost every type of lumpia on the menu and my favorite had to be the Shanghai and banana ones! The spot is cute and convenient, especially if you're planning a target trip! Wait time was not too long and the service there was great!“
“This is review is long over due. Dell's Kitchen is one my goto spots for an affordable plate local/japanese food. I've tried their Kawagoe Karaage, Kurobuta Pork Katsu, and Nori Chicken. The Karaage is my favorite and the most affordable as well. It comes with a sweet mustard dipping sauce, a coleslaw type salad, rice, and some other veggies. The portions are generous. And they have a dining area inside with complimentary water. They also have a sister restaurant next door that serves pasta dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant if in the mood for some good tasting and affordable local Japanese food.“
“My cousin ordered Bentos from these guys for my mom's memorial service, and it was delicious! The fried fish, chicken and beef were so good, and I loved how the Bentos were setup a long with their colorful logo stickers. Will definitely order from them in the future for our events or even just drop in when we're feeling hungry.“
“We had a really good experience at Sugoi. We shared a garlic chicken bento box and a side of Mac salad. The garlic chicken and Mac salad were the stars of the show. The teri beef that came with it was average at best. The hotdog was a hotdog but solid. Would just get the garlic chicken plate lunch next time! Definitely would go back.“
“No dine in, no tables, no other staff. Just yummy breakfast plates and plate lunches. They do take card but we paid cash. No bathrooms. The shopping center has chairs and tables aligning the store fronts. Ordering is super easy. The pancakes were really really yummy and the kalbi was delicious. Great for grab and goParking: Parking lot is in the shopping center“
“I had an 8oz plate for dinner. The taste of the meat is very delicious, the sauce you can choose from, the fresh vegetables, the bagna cauda style sauce, and most of all, the portion is perfect, so you'll be very satisfied. The staff also spoke Japanese and were kind.“
“I didn't have enough time between meetings, so I ordered takeout. They sell both poke and acai bowls, which are must-eats when you go to Hawaii. It is relatively inexpensive compared to the interior of a hotel. The quantity is also very large. The food comes out very quickly.“
“I ordered the food and took around 10-15min. Very helpful. However because it is a Korean couple running it, they make everything fresh! I got the bulgolgi sandwich which was very tasty! I would definitely go back! It was around 14 dollars.“
“Awesome food and Service. They were very kind and accommodating , and professional, the food was THE bomb. Jollof rice was fantastic and flavorful, Kebobs tasty, and the Suya hit with a scent of home. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to try some authentic African food. 10/10. Cannot wait to have some more.“
“Its not a dine in place. Stop, pay and pick up your order place. But the food is phenomenal. I bought the guava chicken, hamburger plate combo for a friend’s birthday. He ate then fell asleep, haha! Das how u know its ono! Food is always good there. Good prices too.Parking: Better to get dropped off. If park in front at bus stop make sure you are near your car so no get ticket. Otherwise parking is almost non existent but the best places never have parking!“
“The à la carte menu is fantastic. As a first-timer, the cashier kindly offered recommendations, and I'm glad they did because the fried fish with tartar sauce became my favorite. The turnip was lovely as well. I also love how this place is incredibly budget-friendly.“
“I used to live in Honolulu and still visit several times per year. One of the first places I visit is Itchy Butt. The Korean fried chicken, bulgogi and spicy pork bowl were delicious. I can't find this type of cuisine even in Vegas! A new item to the menu is chicken wings which I ordered the 20 count but the portion was very generous. I definitely look forward to my next visit at Itchy Butt!“
“Discovered this AMAZING place about two years ago when I worked at the DCCA building and visit just about every week if not every other week.Love love love the garlic steak plate and I have gotten the spicy chicken poppers a couple times and have never, ever been disappointed. From the portions to the price, it’s perfect.now that I work off Ala Moana, I still make the trip to Alakea Steak, even if I have to walk because it is just that good to me. Definitely worth a try.“
“Located at Sand island just off the Mauka bound at the Diamond head side of Sand Island access road, here is this little shop with a few tables inside, I want a Vietnamese sandwich and I call to placed my order, friendly staff, sandwich ready I just 5 to 10 minutes. The sandwich is well packaged and they accept credit card payment even for just a sandwich. There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the area but lot of them do not offer sandwiches any more. There is not much parking in front of the restaurant so you may have to wait for the parking.“
“Online order was great, printed labels on each container is one good idea. It was buddy but good was hot and fresh. With the first time using the app to order, there was a $10 discount making our meal less than $10 per person. The staff was working hard being busy, but someone was designated to fill online order so I didn't wait long.“
