“Wow! A must-go and the best Joe's on the island. The mountain view is beautiful, from pretty much any seat in the place. The garden walk is well worth showing up an hour early to enjoy. Waiting for a table isn't so bad when the garden has so much to offer.Food and drinks were excellent, and the staff was very friendly. All put together, it was a bit expensive but worth it. I'll return next time I'm in town.“
“Driving back from Hau’ula to Kaneohe, we stopped for lunch. We each had the laulau and it was pretty good. The side of lomi salmon was fresh. The haupia had a funny texture. Maybe we had a bad batch? The Auntie at the counter was friendly and sells chili pepper water. We didn’t have dessert, but will be stopping again soon!!“
“A nice place to stop on the way to the North Shore. In addition to the restaurant, inside there is a gift shop and jewelry counters. We ordered the half chicken plate and the shell-on garlic shrimp plate, which were each $18. Chicken was cooked well and had a subtle sweet smoky flavour. I recommend the shrimp too, which were buttery, garlicky, fresh, and plentiful. The mac salad was the best I've had on this trip so far. Loved that they have lots of seating inside and big bathrooms to wash your hands before/after your meal. Will definitely come back.“
“Love their lava bowl! I have yet to try other things from here because I can help but always get their lava bowl! It comes with shrimp tempura, spicy ahi, unagi sauce, over brown rice. So ono! I crave this every time I'm in the area. At the Kaneohe location, they have a walk up type storefront. It's really easy to order and the people working there are really nice. The meal also came with a drink of choice!“
“Came on National spam musubi day 8/8! Love how they are opened super early 6am so we can grab breakfast. There are so many options!!! We tried various spam musubi, dynamite chicken and garlic peanuts. They even have curry, noodles, and poke bowls which we didn't get a chance to try.The lady at the counter was super friendly and efficient. There is a parking lot and the store is spacious and clean. Will definitely be back again to grab snacks for the rb“
“Not much to catch your eye when you drive by, but the service was top notch and the food was delicious (first time having garlic shrimp and yes, it was rich and creamy). Also had the coconut shrimp. I was reading reviews closer while eating and wish I would have tried to the steak instead of the coconut shrimp as it seems to be a fan favorite. The black cat is a fan of the garlic shrimp - highly recommend sharing what you have leftover with the little buddy.Parking: Parking was limited, but there are 5-6 spots behind the food truck.“
“Service was great, food was awesome and atmosphere pretty welcoming. Had the chicken katsu and Teri chicken bento along with another plate of garlic chicken katsu. It was ono!! We went on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. If you gotta wait long time, you know the food is good. It didn't disappoint!! Great place for food. I would definitely go again. Great people, good food and great service! Highly recommend this place!!Parking: Had like three or four parking spots when we went. All free never had to pay. Go early!“
“This is a place that you need to plan accordingly the wait for our order was 50 minutes and they have no seating so we called ahead and planned a beach day where we could enjoy our lunch. On the website they do caution you that it’s not fast food and normally takes 40-50 minutes so don’t expect great food to be ready in 5 minutes. It’s definitely worth the wait since everything we ordered was excellent! I can’t imagine how good it would be if we ate it after being freshly made. They make their noodles so everything is cooked fresh and made to order. You can even see the noodles being made in the shop. We ordered the Garlic Ulu Portabello, Lechon Malunggay, Adobong Lechon Kawali and then made our own pasta where you pick the noodles, sauce and protein. Servings size are huge so we all shared and got to try a lot of food. My fav was definitely the Lechon Malunggay. Lechon was so crispy and the noodles so tasty. But everything was sooo deliciousThe lady at the counter was so friendly.“
