“This place was so great we had to go back a second time. Amazing selection of freshly baked pastries. The malasadas were quite good, and if you've never had one you should for sure get them as they are the most popular. Lilikoi or ube were our favorites. But don't let them fool you, this is a true full bakery and the rest of their pastries are just as good if not better. The scones and quiches in particular were unbelievable.“
“Consistently amazing food. One of the few trucks on the island that you feel like you've had a healthy and super tasty meal. The side salad is so delicious and the cook/server is super kind and helpful. This truck is the only one that I know of that asks to be paid after your food is served.“
“I've been coming here since I was a kid. UNREAL flavor and fluffy texture. My fav is the regular cinnamon rolls add macadamia nuts with frosting. There's always a line and now you can preorder for pick up so I recommend that if you can! Here's the line at 6AM when they opened! It was worth it.“

While it was good, with all the other vegan options around it's not a destination vegan food spot. I must say, it surpassed all expectations and easily ranks as the best Mexican food I've ever had. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the authenticity of the cuisine transported us straight to Mexico. From the hearty burritos to the flavorful tacos, every bite was a delight. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. “Breakfast buffet was absolutely delish. The freshest fruits, yummy island pastries, Portuguese sausage, rice and all the other fixings…omelette bar, fresh guava, passion, orange juice, coffee and water served table side. French toast pancakes. Asian edamame rice and potstickers. Really tasty and kea lani level service is awesome.“
“I was putting together a small sunset beach wedding with no guests. I wasn't going to do a cake. But the day of the ceremony I got sentimental and wanted to be able to have a piece of cake with my husband. I called Casey that morning thinking it was a Hail Mary pass. But he said he could do a small 6" cake and had it ready in about 4 hours. It was simple and beautiful. And tasted great! I am so appreciative of Casey making that happen for me!“
“We cannot stop hitting up this gelato and shave ice place!!! My daughter is dairy-free and they have like half a dozen options for her. Also, the shave ice is HUGE and the most amazing texture I’ve ever had. There are so many flavor options and the coconut flavor in particular is 100!!!! “This place is one of our favorite parts of coming to Maui. We like to walk here on the beach in the morning to get breakfast. Excellent German specialties like homemade pretzels, tropical pastries like passion curd buns, and a nice selection of gluten free - banana bread, biscotti, and mochi are some of my faves.Convenient parking lot, friendly helpful service too.“

“We got three 6” pies here (apple, key lime & peach raspberry) the day we flew home. We didn’t have a solid plan for when we planned to eat them, so we just dragged them around with us between picking them up and boarding our flight. In that time the paper bag the pies came in ripped while trekking across the airport parking lot in the Maui heat sending the pies toppling to the asphalt. My husband hastily scooped them up and kept on going. Later they were dropped for a second time in the TSA line, where we acquired a new bag from a kind fellow traveller. Halfway through our six hour flight we declared it “pie time” and were anxious to see what kind of messes the pies would be when we opened the boxes, THEY WERE PERFECT. Not a crumb out of place, not only were they the most durable pies we’ve ever eaten, they were absolutely delicious. We would recommend Maui Pie anyone who loves a good pie while visiting beautiful Maui!“
“What a great find! The food was fresh and yummy, I enjoyed the juice, and oh my GOD the lilikoi crossaint I had was SO GOOD that I came back the next day and bought all remaining 3 - sorry to anyone who came after me! Thinking about moving to Maui from Oahu just to have easier access to the lilikoi crossaints. Jk. But seriously they were so good. I did seem to get incredibly lucky with the first one, which was loaded with filling, some of the ones that followed didn't have nearly as much, which was a little sad, but I still thoroughly enjoyed!“
“My Family and I were at dinner at Fred's tonight and during or dinner another guest fainted on me. My uncle and I provided assistance until the victim regained consciousness, with Fred's employees helping to call 911 and then get the firefighters who took over care for the individual. To our surprise, at the end of the evening, Shannon, a manager at Fred's, comped our family's meals and also extended the gesture to the victim's family without any request from us. Thank you Shannon and the rest of Fred’s employees for taking quick actions to help the victim.“
