“Wandering around Makawao on a Saturday afternoon, we were excited to see this place open. Beautifully decorated space, like an Italian cafe with Hawaiian touches, and such a treat to visit with an owner so passionate about his craft. The hardest part was deciding what to order. I had a lavender vanilla latte, my husband had a regular latte, so so good.Dietary restrictions: Several non dairy milk options.“

“Wow!! This little pizza place was super busy and yet delivered an amazing pizza!! Very friendly service. It was neat to see the brick oven even with a mobile kitchen. The crust was crispy on the outside and chewy delicious on the inside. Lots of flavorful sauce with fresh toppings. The pizza was piping hot and totally hit the spot!“

“Upcountry Sausage is a food truck next Mahalo Aleworks. The team was very friendly and they take great care in delivering quality food! We purchased the RagingCajun which is an Andoluie Sausage with grilled peppers, onion and bits of pineapple and more. It was delicious, served on fantastic bun. Also, we shared the Chicken Tacos, which are perfect for sharing since you get two to an order. It was grilled chicken breast meat and had, red cabbage slaw, red beans and cirn in the taco. It was really delicious and I highly recommend it.“

“We'd been eating our way through Maui all week and we came here on a whim because the place we were originally going to have lunch wasn't taking walk-ins. For me (I can't speak for the rest of my family), this was the best meal I had during our entire trip. We all had different things and opted to share. The fish was great. You can't go wrong with any of the handrolls or poke bowls if you're into seafood; I recommend the fresh Marlin. However, the thing that stood out for me was, oddly, the Ramen bowl. My son, is a finicky eater. He's in that "no veggies" phase so when the soup came, we had to walk back up and request a kids' noodles and broth; which left the original Ramen bowl for the rest of the family to share! I loved it and ended up eating most of it! Next time we're on Maui, I'll be ordering the Ramen along with my handrolls!“

Shrimp Pad Thai Noodles
Pad See EW

“Just delicious! We ordered pad see ew and beef & vege stir fry (can’t remember the name) - both tasted great and, I’m confident to say, even better than most Thai restaurants. I’m a big fan of spicy food so I asked the lady to add chili pepper. When I saw she added chili flakes (almost like powder but not that fine) in the food instead of hot sauce, fresh chilis or jalapeños, I knew I just found a right place for authentic Thai food. The lady working there was super friendly and showed smile all the time when we were there. I’m already missing the place!“
