Driving the Road to Hana complicates things as there aren't many places to stop for a real meal for sometimes hours at a time. “My favorite Thai food on island. The owners Sai and Mike are always friendly and give excellent customer service. My kids and I love their pad thai, and their dad loves the pork belly basil. So many choices too in this one location but I'd just spent the last 8 hours working my way to Maui, it was hot and humid and an Açaí bowl sounded filling and refreshing! It was both. “Awesome set up and great variety of food. This is a very well organized food truck court near the airport with lots of covered tables and several food trucks to choose from. We went on a Thursday night when they have live music (Three to Five - great local band!) and enjoyed a few different dishes from Thai Mee Up and Havens. All was delicious, fairly priced and ready in a reasonable time. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back for sure - lots more to try!“

“After a delayed connecting flight, we had no time to eat before getting on our next flight to Maui. We arrived at the Lowe's parking lot where this food truck was located. Took us some time to figure out where the food truck was parked considering how big this parking lot was.I got the ribeye steak and garlic shrimp, also comes with rice and a small salad. After surviving on pretzels, I ate the whole thing. It was delish. Great portion as well. Since there were no tables to sit at, we ate on the hood of our rental car.“

There is a lot of loose gravel used to keep the area groomed. There are picnic tables with attached seats, no wheelchair access. “Upcountry Sausage is a food truck next Mahalo Aleworks. The team was very friendly and they take great care in delivering quality food! We purchased the RagingCajun which is an Andoluie Sausage with grilled peppers, onion and bits of pineapple and more. It was delicious, served on fantastic bun. Also, we shared the Chicken Tacos, which are perfect for sharing since you get two to an order. It was grilled chicken breast meat and had, red cabbage slaw, red beans and cirn in the taco.
