“We dined at Paia fish market 3 times during our 1 week visit. The portions are large, and the taste is delicious. You can't go wrong with the catch of the day plate. The snapper tastes much better than the california snapper. The seafood pasta was very good, too. They have 3 locations, but unfortunately, the one in Lahaina closed after the fire. We had to drive from Kaanapali to Paia and Kihei instead“
“Amazing! We caught them in their soft open and even in the chaos that is a soft open, the experience was fantastic! Katie took care of us, and the food exceeded expectations. The new Mambo is nothing like the old Mambo and it’s a must try with a great menu. The BBLT is to die for! ❤️“
“Stopped here after we went to Haleakala and the food was delicious! Perfect island atmosphere and cool spots to eat inside and out! Our server was super laid back and sweet and it's a great place off the beaten path! Good for stop on the road to Hana.“
“One of my favorite spots to stop in for a bite. The vibe is homey and cozy and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, I've had quite a few things on the menu and everything has been phenomenal, but the fried rice is my favorite. We even buy their hot sauce to take back to the mainland with us! We will be sure to visit the next time we're in Maui!! ❤️“
“A bit noisy because of the wooden floors and active bar making blended drinks. But the service and locally sourced food is superb. There are other table locations within the restaurant that are probably quieter than the one we chose right up front at the windows.“
“We enjoyed this restaurant very much. With a party of 17 it can be a challenge to serve so many efficiently. The staff excelled at their jobs serving delicious plates quickly with Aloha. The sushi chef is superb and the whole atmosphere here was joyful and welcoming. A must try... the Ube Creme Brulee. I will definitely be back again and highly recommend others to give it a try too!“
“I'm a very stingy 5 star giver. I'm also not easily impressed as I have owned 2 restaurants of my own. This place impressed me. It made me smile. The friendly greeting we received immediately showed me they wanted our business. We were taught about their menu and offerings with smiles and sincerity. For our first encounter we ordered the Fish-N-Chips.The quality and portioning of the food was better than expected. The food was served hot and fresh. It was simply delicious! The prices are good. Fair I would say! You can't expect good quality to be cheap anymore. Prices of everything went up. Prices here are fair and not gouging like some tourist traps. The place was clean. Tables, chairs, floor. Even the glass in the refrigerated show cases was clean. Clean says a lot about how this place cares about its outward appearance thus it's customer's. I can honestly say we found ourselves a little Maui gem and we will frequent this place for sure!I would recommend this place to my friends and Family as a must try!So whether you live here or are just visiting Maui, give this place a try.Tell them Lawrence the Fixologist sent you! Maholo!Parking: Parking lot is behind the building. About 12 spaces. We went off hours so lot was fairly open. If you have to find parking a block away, don't stress, it's worth the walk.“
“One of the best rated food trucks in Maui according to Google so we had to visit. It’s a short drive from the Andaz Resort. The spot was closing soon so we phoned in our order 30mins prior and by the time we got there, food was ready. The seafood was fresh and not overcooked.Portions matched the value ??.Ample parking space at the back.Mahalo!“
“Had the Hawaiian, spicy, and hurricane fried poke and all were really delicious. The hurricane fried poke is however is quite filling and rich, so definitely shareable. The owner was super sweet. Plenty of tables to eat out in front although watch out for the occasional bugs. Overall one of the best pokes I've had to date and highly recommended.“
“Seascape is such an underrated little gem. Everything from the atmosphere, the view, the staff, and the food is top notch. The locality of their food makes seascape a restaurant you absolutely don’t want to miss whether you live on Maui or just visiting. Make sure you sit in Cicis section, she’s a sweet thing :).“
“Ono! If you're visiting Maui, and you're looking for a place to grab a bite to eat right off of the plane, I highly recommend this little gem in the Lowe's parking lot! On our most recent trip to Maui, we didn't feel like sitting down at a restaurant after our flight from California. We found this place via Google and are so glad we sought them out! First, the customer service is top notch. We were promptly and kindly greeted. Second, the food is amazing! Everything is made to order, but a 10 minute wait is totally worth it. I got the ribeye steak and garlic ahi katsu condo plate. My husband got the ribeye and shrimp, and we shared with our daughter. The ingredients tastes fresh, and the sauce on my ahi katsu was divine. My husband and I both agreed it was some of the best food we had on our visit. Mahalo, 808 Plates for the aloha and delicious local fare! We will be back next time! ?“
“Some of the best shrimp I’ve had. I got the three flavors. Hot n spicy, pineapple scampi and garlic butter. All flavors were great but the pineapple scampi was by far the best. Location was great and had plenty of parking and seats. Great to enjoy the beautiful weather. Also their side of crab macaroni was amazing ! The cashier at the window was helpful in explaining the menu. Definitely recommend this spot.Follow @cerogrubs on instagram, tiktok and YouTube for more delicious eats !“
“This is by far the best restaurant food we've had since arriving to Maui. Their island cuisine was very tasty, with nicely sized portions, and very reasonably pricedThe atmosphere was very welcoming and the service exemplary. Our hosts Marietta and Donna were very attentive and super friendly too.“
“I love this place/area with their best and I mean the best/bestest/or even a better home sweet home.....Parking: In the low-income housing, apartments, units, & etc. Even apartments that have a parking garage under a structure or no structure at all to do so.....Kid-friendliness: Get A lot of Candies, Sweets, Chocolates, Sweet Tarts, & Sour Gummies/& Worms in a process for the progress that's made & did make no matter what has happened.....Wheelchair accessibility: N/A.“
“Nathaniel is amazing. Got great Mac salad best on the island three times will I was on island. He went above and beyond to custom make a travel lunch fo me for my flight home. Looking forward to eating his great fish and Mac salad my next island stay. “
“I’ll start off with… the beer battered deep fried Prawns were so delicious. Not fancy or expensive and their seafood is amazing ??The tables are covered with a piece of paper, and your waitress will provide you ample napkins and a wipe for your hand and face when your done. Did I mention fresh Hawaiian Prawns are friggin amazing. I’m from Alaska and previously believed there was no better seafood than there. I was wrong. They are huge. Four filled me up. LolAnyway, an outdoor style, look and atmosphere indoors in a mall setting.Prawns were 15$. ??????Parking: Huge parking lot in mall. Walking distance from beach.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely ??Wheelchair accessibility: Yes totally. Parking, entry and room to maneuver. ??“
“This place is so good!! We were looking for a Filipino place to eat at for our last day on Maui and couldn’t have found a better place! The pork adobo fried rice was fantastic, and the pancit was really good. Our service was also great, with a friendly and attentive server. I would reccomend this place to anyone! The halo halo was also AMAZING. My only recommendation is they add the sweet beans but that’s a personal thing! This place is so awesome and anyone should come check it out. Thank you all for the wonderful food and service!“
“We were staying at the Courtyard and saw the parking lot next to the hotel filled with food trucks. Maui Shrimp happens to be one of them. We tried the Garlic Scampi and it was good. You can taste the garlic for sure. It would be good if they serve it with a side of spicy sauce“
“Food is still consistently good. We usually do takeout from here. When we have dined there over the years, some of the wait help were kind of rough in how they spoke to customers - not necessarily rude, but more unprofessional like how some people might speak to someone they’ve known for a long time and have that type of rough banter dynamic.“
“The recommendations the waiter provided were so delicious. Not a true fish eater, but omg everything we had was amazing. Best meal I've ever had.Brought our kids. Their kids meal was a 10/10 from our kids.We wish we had dessert but we were stuffed!Highly recommend this place.“
