“Was craving some bubble tea while on vacation and found this local spot via Google reviews.We had to go up a tight ramp to find parking on the second floor, then take the elevator down to this shop which is at ground floor.We tried a milk tea and a classic winter melon tea. We found the tapioca here to be the perfect texture. They also sell little stickers but only accept cash or Venmo for those. When the lady working here found out that I was Taiwanese but didn’t have cash/Venmo, she graciously decided to gift me one anyway!So glad to have found this cute and welcoming shop!“

“Refreshing sugar cane juice in Aiea, Oahu, Hawaii...Sugah Daddeh's Kane Juice used to be by the Starbucks by Anna Miller's. I saw the shop, but didn't have time. I told myself that I would return... especially because so many of my friends wrote reviews (Donna, Irene, Angel, Deborah, Gabriel, Rissa, Janice, Reuben, Tanyce, and Kyra).Today, I saw the new location at "Downtown Pearlridge". If you go to the mall, it's above Longs Drugs Store (that's where I usually park because it's covered). Go up the escalator, and the kiosk is by Guava Smoked, Hot Topic, and Aloha Salads. Looking at the menu, the Mason Jar is the best deal because you can get $2 off when you bring the jar back for a refill! I decided to get the Mean Buggah with blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, and calamansi juice. It was really cool to watch the gal chop up the fruits (to fit the boba straw) right there!Mmm! The juice was NOT too sweet, but just right - and it felt healthy - especially after reading about the benefits of sugar cane juice!I'm looking forward to returning and trying the other flavors! Note: açai bowls, Gelato, and sorbet are also available!“

“Wow! Just wow. Flavor burst! Holy taste buds! Yum! I loved every single bite of this açaí bowl. Absolutely delicious and not like your ordinary açaí bowl. When I arrived at the window to order, I had asked what they were known for or which açaí bowl was the most popular and he suggested the layers of paradise with the Lilikoi cream. I couldn't decide between the Lilikoi or mango cream so he said he could make it half and half and oh my goodness. I got the best of both worlds. Customer service A+! Quality and flavor A++. This may be my new favorite açaí bowl spot. And next time for sure, I need a bowl to myself, no sharing, lol.“

“Yummy sandwiches! I really liked my Pesto deluxe sandwich. The gooey, melting cheese oozing out after a bite. Pesto was delicious and the sandwich was hot and crunchy and tasty! Friendly service and inside was very cutely decorated. A long table and several chairs looking outside, so I was able to see people passing by as I enjoy my food. Smoothies and drinks seem to be pretty popular too. People were swinging by for pickup or just to take out and eat at the Ala Moana Beach park.“

“Located in The Heart of China Town in Honolulu, we stumbled across Irie Jerk, a Jamaican Restaurant. In about a month we must have visited at least five times. The Mash Potatoes are the best I’ve tasted anywhere, Finger licking Good. We also tried the Oxtail, Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken and Curry Goat, all served with a choice of rice and peas ,cabbage, Mac and cheese, are all delicious. Not only is the food excellent, the owner Cadeen and the staff are pleasant and courteous. “I came here for a quick drink before snorkeling, and I must say, I was impressed. I'm usually not a fan of smoothies as the base for boba, but this was the exception. The boba was nice and soft so it didn't get hard from the temperature. I got the strawberry taro smoothie, my sister got the durian smoothie w/o boba, and my mom got Vietnamese iced coffee. We all thoroughly enjoyed the drinks. They used real fruit to make the smoothies which is rare for a boba place, the prices were very low, and the coffee is flavorful. Definitely recommend.“

“I love to walk here when I'm taking a long walk. The service is great as are the drinks. I like to get the papaya smoothie and add boba and the boba is perfectly made. It also doesn't freeze with the drink, so it's delicious to the last sip. The atmosphere is cozy as it is just an ordering window, but there is a place to sit if you're looking for a reprieve from the sun or your walk.“

I like it a lot because the boba balls are consistently soft, the drink is sweet but not too sweet (I usually get 50% sugar though), and they don't put an overwhelming amount of ice into their drink! They consistently get the cafe du mond to condensed milk ratio right . Hang's vietnamese coffee is premade so this doesn't beat freshly brewed but it's surprisingly not watered down.“

“Been here multiple times and they never failed me. I love their drinks here so much that I kept coming back. Prices are reasonable and the space is so cute. Almost every corner it's so artistic.Amongst my favorite drinks are mango purple rice yogurt, ube purple rice yogurt, dragon fruit yogurt & their peach yogurt. They have the best purple rice yogurt in my opinion.Customer service is good and they were nice in here. Waiting time for your drink varies. It also depends if they got lots of customer and most of the time they got a long line which form from the outside.The only thing that I don't like coming here is parking. There are many instances that I want to grab drinks here but didn't went through coz parking is so tough, like really challenging. They only got street parking and most of the time it is occupied but other than that their drinks are pretty competitive. Hope they'll open one in a mall or a foodcourt. “We were greeted by two lovely young ladies.We ordered "2" Macha Frappuccino with coconut milk and ube cake.The Macha frap tasted like the Japanese Macha ice cream from Tanaka of Tokyo or from Dave's Ice Cream. “After 8 years of regularly going to Peace Cafe, I can attest it is the hill to die on for vegan food!! Across all fronts: service, quality food, full vegan menu availability, atmosphere it's 10/10 in my books! Across they years I've tried quite a few of their dishes but theres a few I keep going back for: the katsu plate katsu curry, peace plate, yogini, and peace sampler are my go-tos - with their tempeh katsu being my all time fave! They also offer rotating specials and a variety of other sandwiches and desserts which I love! Parking can be tricky but it's so worth it!“

The açaí was sweet yet soft, and the fruit atop it was fresh. The service is fast, and it's a nice space. There is an inside and a slight outdoor space, but Nalu is so close to the beach that I recommend to just take the bowl with you and lay in the sand and enjoy the beautiful weather.“

Yes! Can do!We took a lot of photos, and the owner's wife took our group photo, too! LOL! My family is camera shy... The Brownie Latte is delicious! It was created from the old Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercial... when the guy and the gal bump into each other while one was eating a chocolate bar and the other was eating from an open jar of peanut butter. If you look at Teapresso Bar's Instagram post, a guy and a gal bump into each other while one is eating a vanilla Latte from Teapresso Bar Wahiawa and the other is eating a brownie from Kilani Bakery. LOL! Very clever collaboration!Thank you, Teapresso Bar Wahiawa, for your generosity - not only towards me and the other two winners - but also to the community. I watched Instagram videos of graffiti clean-up; distribution of drinks to the fire fighters, police officers, and other community members; participation in community events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and community involvement with organizations such as the local Rotary Club! “Who knew there's a Teapresso Bar here in Aloha Tower Marketplace... One of the smallest Teapresso Bar that I've seen and their menu is displayed a bit different than the usual so I'm not sure if they do have all the teas that they usually brew fresh but do see my favorite Pink Dragon Hibiscus is available here though for some reason wasn't feeling that this visit. It could be seeing the ocean view just a short distance but something about this open outdoorsy air vibe just feels so refreshing and decided on a Slushie and with what seems to have five to choose from (Mango, Strawberry, Honeydew, Yeah, Lychee, Pineapple and Passion Fruit) it had to be Passion Fruit for me and though there is a couple of tables and a few counter seating strolling around outside seem like the vibe for me as this slushie had just the right sweetness and flavor. The staff here is just a patient and pleasant as I couldn't decide between several choice did help me narrow it down to my slushie...with a view. Thank you!“

“Best Açaí bowl on the island! Plenty of toppings, amazing açaí mix and their granola is just fabulous. I bought 3 packs before I moved back to the mainland. I have tried many açaí bowls on Oahu and Kauai in the past 6 months. This is the best açaí bowl that is truly healthy and tasty. I have also tried their lox bagels. I don’t really like carrots but this was delicious.“

“Following super Yelper Nadine, I was in the Ala Moana area and decide to stop in on Aunty Gigi's Cafe. They are located on the corner of Keeaumoku and Young Streets, on the Ewa/Makai corner. You enter the parking from Young street. Nadine had glowing reviews of her purchases and I have to concur with her thoughts about Aunty Gigi's. They have been open for about a month and are in sort of a soft opening. Their smoothies and Acai bowl offerings/pricing are prominently displayed on the wall. The savory offerings, musubis and bentos are not yet listed but some are available. On this day the spam/egg musubi and the Kimbop were available as well as the meat Jun bento. This is a small operation so I had a chance to try the savory orders made as ordered. It was fun talking to Aunty Gigi as she prepared my order. She is very friendly and easy to converse with. Her "cafe" is compact, very clean as she totally gutted out the space brought in new equipment and fixtures. I took home the Kimbop, meat Jun and acai bowl, and also brought home one of the musubi to try, compliments of Aunty. The savory offerings are on the counter. When I went the first hour they were open Aunty was in the process of making the savory offerings. The smoothies and acai bowls are of course made to order.Delicious offerings close to Ala Moana shopping center.“

“After hearing Thang's closing at this location, I was excited that another cafe took over and had the same concept as Thang's. Located across the gas station, you can easily find parking in the back by Aiea Manapua or the lot further back. Menu consists the same drinks such as fresh fruit smoothies, Vietnamese coffee, and more. They have tapioca pearls as well. We decided to get a pineapple and watermelon smoothie as those are our favorite. The prices range from $6-$8 depending on what flavor or combos you get. I was a bit disappointed by the smoothies because they added in coconut milk or some type of milk versus Thang's didn't add milk. It was really milky. No complaints but just a food for thought. It wasn't bad but just wasn't what I thought it was going to be like since the menu and concept was the same. Overall it's just okay. Def would try their iced Vietnamese coffee though because that looked amazing!“

“It's about a 10-minute walk from Kuhio Avenue or Rakaua Avenue, with the statue of King Kalakaua in front of you.Just after crossing the Ala Wai Canal bridge.The inside of the store was bright and the sunlight was shining in from the sky, creating a very nice and comfortable atmosphere.If you sit at the counter, you can watch the roasting being done right in front of you.We had a relaxing time eating cafe latte, Banana Bread, and Chia pudding Parfait.On the wall are large pictures and explanations that explain the history of coffee, and in the shop, coffee beans, cups, soap bags, etc. are neatly displayed for sale.I first purchased Honolulu Coffee's Banana Bread when I stayed at the Luana Waikiki Hotel, where they sold Honolulu Coffee's bakery products at the Fish Hook Cafe on the 1st floor. All of the breads were delicious, but the Banana Brea was not too sweet, fluffy and had a nice banana scent, and I remember buying several pieces during my stay.At the Honolulu coffee shop, it was the last one, so it was safe.Chia pudding parfait is a chewy dessert cup filled with chia seeds, cacao nibs, and blueberries. It was chewy and had a delicious faint cocoa flavor.“
