“Another little gem in Upper Pearl City. The lady serving the shave ice is very nice and friendly. We where the last ones to order and she was so nice, she gave us lots of samples to try from previous order that by the time our order came in, we were full from samples! The amount of shave ice is a lot ( we order a small each), should have ordered just one as it was a lot for my husband and I. The little place is cute with lots of sweet and happy decorations. Make sure to have cash at hand, because this place does not take credit/debit cards.“

“Hands down, one of the best places for boba in my opinion. The tea is always brewed fresh daily. The boba itself is not hard or too chewy. Drinks are made to order. The staff is always patient, friendly and kind even with my two energetic boys running around. The ambience is so cute and the place is always clean.“

“It's so cool that this restaurant is open 7 days a week from 8pm till 3am. This place has good food, and big portions too. I got the regular roast pork plate...very big portion and very tasty too. The service was good and our food came out quickly too. The ambience was not bad. There was only one table with chairs to eat at. But most people just pickup and go with their food orders. But this place has some of the best burritos in town. 10/10 would recommend if visiting from the west coast and wanting that authentic style burritos. Also they have great homemade salsas to choose from that pair very well with each dish. Also highly recommend the quesadillas if you aren’t in the mood for a burrito.Parking: I recommend parking in the Whole Foods parking lot and walking across the street.“

“You won't believe the amazing 60th birthday party my uncle had at this place! The food and ambiance were absolutely incredible! We had live Hawaiian music played by my boyfriend, and our entire family danced the hula all night long! And let me tell you, that roast pig was to die for! It was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside...you have to check out the video I took! The location is unbeatable, right by the ocean and next to the Prince Hotel in Waikiki. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this incredible experience!“

“Amazing food. Fish is so fresh. The bowls are dynamic and flavorful. After moving to Oahu, I became obsessed with poke and would go out of my way to eat it from different places. I found Aloha Cones one random day as I was looking for the nearest place. Since then I have not found a poke spot that I like more, and I did indeed keep looking. If you ask me, this is the best poke on the island. Two years and counting, Aloha Cones is still at the top of my list.“

“My husband loves their shrimp and grits. We had breakfast there once and returned for dinner. Food is good. I believe the husband is running the establishment with his wife and when we had dinner, their young kids were there too. Daddy was doing the cooking while mommy was mining the customers and they both the children. This made my heart smile. Trying to run a business with young kids, not easy. Family core, much respect.“

“Blondie's is the best vegan restaurant on island in my opinion. It's the most similar to vegan comfort food that can be found in places like Portland and is really unlike any other food available on O'ahu. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is always top notch (Cybil is the absolute sweetest!). The restaurant is run by a mother-daughter duo and my heart is warmed every time I think of this. Even my non-vegan friends and family enjoy the food! Blondie's also happens to make my favorite smoothie of all time—the pipeline paradise. I have something of a smoothie obsession and I literally dream of this smoothie constantly. Highly recommend giving Blondie's a try!“

“Probably one of the best if not best breakfast spots we had on our Hawaii trip. Low key spot with delicious food with great ingredients. Not a huge menu but would definitely come back again (ate here twice in one week) Had the cuban breakfast and the ham & cheese sandwich. Both delicious.Ice lattes were good as well. Plus they were a good ole American portion size.“

I told myself that I would return... especially because so many of my friends wrote reviews (Donna, Irene, Angel, Deborah, Gabriel, Rissa, Janice, Reuben, Tanyce, and Kyra).Today, I saw the new location at "Downtown Pearlridge". If you go to the mall, it's above Longs Drugs Store (that's where I usually park because it's covered). Go up the escalator, and the kiosk is by Guava Smoked, Hot Topic, and Aloha Salads. Looking at the menu, the Mason Jar is the best deal because you can get $2 off when you bring the jar back for a refill! I decided to get the Mean Buggah with blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, and calamansi juice. It was really cool to watch the gal chop up the fruits (to fit the boba straw) right there!Mmm! The juice was NOT too sweet, but just right - and it felt healthy - especially after reading about the benefits of sugar cane juice!I'm looking forward to returning and trying the other flavors! Note: açai bowls, Gelato, and sorbet are also available!“

“7 Grady is said to have the best gelato in Hawaii!!A group of four girls came all the way from Waikiki to eat this haha. Just as I heard, it was so delicious and better than I could have imagined!!! I think the long walk was 120% worth it. My favorite, in particular, is the black sesame gelatoㅠㅠ I will definitely come back to Hawaii, so I promised to come again then!“

“Good shave ice. Tasty and giant portion for the regular size. The Darth Vader shave ice was very good. Very small shop but very quick service. The ice could maybe be finer texture but it was still very good. Will definitely come back for more!“

“What a little gem to find amoung all the food trucks in this area! Got the pulled pork fries, a MUST get item! Amazing, my belly was in love! Also got the Thai chicken tacos and cheese sticks which were good. I wish I could have tried everything but only was in town two days. Get the crème brûlée as it will satisfy your sweet tooth especially because I have rarely seen it in Plantbased form. Unlike most food trucks, food prep was fairly quick in the food truck area. There are picnic tables with umbrellas, free to enjoy the food we walked here from the embassy suites and is walkable pretty much from most of the hotels. I did not see any areas for cars to park, but there could have been behind the building/shopping plaza next-door.“

“A great combo of a Cafe that serves food, drinks, and desserts and attached to a climbing facility, yoga studio. I highly recommend stopping by and eating at this cafe. The service was fast and friendly and the climbing wall area was fun for the entire family.“

“Passed this place by for months because I didn’t care for the “pro-Jesus” Bible thumping verse on the window outside but decided to overlook that this morning to see if it was as cute inside as it was outside and boy what an experience! Except for the Christian smut this place is a feast for the eyes and cute as HELL! Very cutesy but tastefully Sanrio/Harajuku oriented literally from top to bottom. My wallet was opening up all by itself. But on top of that the young man that took my order, after patiently waiting for me to finish taking pictures and videos was thoughtful, sweet, thorough and friendly. My mocha was spot on and although my orange cranberry scone was more biscuity than sconey there were a ton of other items on my list to try next time around including vegan options.What made this place stand out, though, was KINDNESS! There was an older, barefoot, unkempt man in a hospital gown that came into the store and ordered a coffee to go. He had trouble speaking and trouble walking but the young man took his order, served him and then came out to the door and opened it for him so he could walk out easily. When the same man came in later for a second cup of coffee the young man’s friend, who was also a customer, took note and got up and opened the door for him. THAT’s aloha! Put me to shame - I was kind of scared of that man. But those young people showed compassion and aloha. I love it and I’ll be back!“

“I’ll start by saying I have not had the gold standard of Maine lobster rolls. But I grew up in the PNW eating fresh shell fish of all kinds.This buttered lobster roll was delicious. It had a heaping amount of juicy lobster. The bun was toasted and held up well against the amount of butter. Wasn’t soggy. (I’d eat it right away though… might not be fabulous for take out.)You order at the inside window and then pick up and eat at the picnic tables on the patio. You can see it when you first turn into ward center. Right next to Rodger Dunn golf store. Food came out in less than 10 minutes.The staff was happy and friendly. After I finished eating, one of the girls asked how everything was and was genuinely happy to see that we enjoyed it.Worth the $20 for the roll. Especially considering this is Honolulu and the amount of lobster that was included.Parking: 3 levels of parking at ward center. It’s tight. But it’s free. Mentioned that we missed the event, and they gave us a bag that was given out at the event and an Ube Horchatta. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. They're located inside Palama Market in Waimalu. Parking is tight but well worth the wait.“

“Driving back from Hau’ula to Kaneohe, we stopped for lunch. We each had the laulau and it was pretty good. The side of lomi salmon was fresh. The haupia had a funny texture. Maybe we had a bad batch? The Auntie at the counter was friendly and sells chili pepper water. We didn’t have dessert, but will be stopping again soon!!“

“So this place is super close to my condo so I asked my two friends if they'd like to check it out. Oahu is just generally so behind when it comes to quality Mexican food but I had high hopes. Anyway, ordered the three tacos with beans and rice. Two shredded beef and one chicken. The shredded beef tacos were on point, really delicious. The chicken taco was good but not quite as good as the beef. Whole pinto beans, very tasty. Sadly the rice wasn't so good, definitely lacking flavor but mixed with the beans okay. Overall, I was surprised. I've eaten Mexican food all over California, LA, San Diego etc and this was good. The tall guy taking orders I think could have been a bit friendlier, he seemed a little annoyed by some questions I had about the menu. So that and the rice knocked my rating from 5 to 4“

“Food wise they really deserve five star, best açaí bowl for me in Honolulu. However customer service first time they deserve a one star, stand there for five minutes, two staff a lady and a guy just talking to each other, no one wants takes the order.. I was shocked. Second time I went back for the food, the guy was super nice. I guess it depends on who’s working, but still, the first time experience was not something I would like to experience.“

“A friend of mine who is from the area said this is a must stop for the best açaí bowl on the island. So I had to try it. And he was right. The Tropical Tribe Bowl with the tropical topping and bee pollen was the way to go. It truly was the perfect bowl and everything about it was tasty. First of all, it's difficult to find a vegan course menu from a fine dinning restaurant, the taste was outstanding! From the, beet salad, curried chow fun noodles, chickpea Madras over rice and finally the mango tapioca..every dish was perfection! My friend enjoyed every dish as well she said everything was absolutely delightful. “I love me a good sandwich! I'm not too well-versed in Italian authencity but Bocconcino was so fresh and filling that I would love to come back again and try their other selections. It's a small shop where they sell deli meats, pasta, wines, and other ingredients. I love that they have a covered designated eating area next door -- the convenience! The pictures fooled me because it didn't look too big until I held the Bolognese in my hand...I'm so glad my friend and I shared it because there was no way I could finish it all in one sitting. However, we also ordered the Prosciutto Arugula Pizza and I was struggling to take a bite because of the sandwich. Depiste being full, I loved everything and wouldn't mind coming back again! The wait can be pretty long so it's highly recommended to participate in their online ordering system. They have a couple stalls in front but we parked at Whole Foods and walked over“

“Located in a small park like area with multiple food trucks and plenty of outdoor seating. I had the standard smash burger with fries and ate onsite.The fries where outstanding and I liked the burger as well. The bun was warm and tasty, the hamburger meat was very good and spiced right with some tasty cheese and their special sauce.There were two people running the truck and payment was easy and quick. Both people were friendly and that was appreciated.I recommend if you want a smash burger and some fries.Enjoyed my experience.“

I do wish there was some American Cheese though. That would make it perfect! My wife prefers the Spicy Pork Kimbap. She says the Kimbap is the closest to homemade she's had in Hawaii. The wifey was born and raised in Korea so I'll take her word for it. You also get some fish cake soup with each order of Kimbap. I forgot to take a pic because I was excite to have the ?????? ???? $?.?? (? :2) is one of the wifey's faves. It's rich and hearty but balanced out by lots of kimchee. “Thank God I used the Google Maps app to search for food after visiting Pearl Harbor and found this place. First, Joe is a delete to speak with. Kind, friendly, good story teller. Double-checked to ensure we liked spicy food because the spicy sausage was indeed “en fuego”. I ordered the ribs and a sausage to try. So thankful I did. Flavor explosion and then a very nice kick.The ribs fell off the bone when I picked it up. Perfect amount of smoke, although Joe said he left them a bit too long for his own taste. Also just the right amount of BBQ sauce. Just enough that it didn’t take away from the meat flavor. Good sweetness to it. The big surprise was the coleslaw.
