What can I say? This is a nation wide food chain, in a food court, in Hawaii. I can't believe other low rate reviews based on the price! I've been living in Hawaii for over 3 years now and seen other DQ on the island closing. Yes, the price feels outrageous, but please stop by at the local grocery store. A gallon of milk is $8 in Hawaii. Now a dozen of eggs are $10+! Almost all the items used at DQ have to come from the mainland, and the refrigeration... electricity is expensive...read full review
After seeing a movie at the theater I walked through the food court and spied a classic fast food stand in Dairy Queen. After shockingly see the prices I nonetheless got a dipped cone.While still classic with the crispy chocolate shell and creamy vanilla soft ice cream, it's really hard to justify $5.99 for a cone. I had a great time at Dairy Queen in Waikoloa. The kind cashier named Pearl helped me with my order in a professional way. My order was a oreo blizzard and they made it quick.
