“Fun dive bar deep into Waukee. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays, a few TVs to catch a game, darts, pool and cheap drinks. It gets really busy but the staff does a great job trying to keep the drinks flowing! They do fun events like psychics, bingo and other things every once and awhile as well. Highly recommend.“

“Breakfast at the cafe , food was excellent, eggs were cooked perfect, biscuits and gravy was the best I've had anywhere. They were really busy, so, there was a wait to be seated. But, I'm not surprised, because there food is always good, and they get it right out to you when it's done, so it's still hot. Decor is bland, and the stools at counter need to be lowered.“
“The Kee downtown Waukee - breakfasts 10am-1pm on Sat/Sun. Don't chintz on this place, if you're looking for a lil dive barish breakfast. Small menu, but good food! Sausage and jalapeño breakfast pizza (I got 10"): loaded 10"or a large pizza crust with eggs, cheese, sausage, gravy and jalapenos was super good. I added more red chili flakes on top but that's personal preference. Flavor-wise it was good and was very very cheesy! Loaded potatoes: diced seasoned potatoes served with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, toast (add 2 eggs on top, cheese, and gravy +$3. Coffee: it's from a Keurig not my personal favorite, I prefer a plain ol coffee pot cup of coffee myself. Definitely a small, fun place for breakfast that isn't overpriced, over-fancy, nor over-rated. Give it a go if you want a low-kee breakfast. -- eating breakfast at The Kee.“

“What a nice find in a small town. I love these local places that server good food and have great staff working. Our food came out fast hot and most importantly, TASTY! Other members of my party had the recommended pork tenderloin and they all said how good it was. I had the Philly steak sandwich, I was very happy I did. Great bun and flavor from that sandwich and the whole meal/experience left me happy to leave an extra large tip. It seemed after 6 it got louder and made it harder to have a conversation. If you stop in earlier you will have a quite experience. If you stop in later in the evening it seems you will have a party like atmosphere. It's nice that you can get both in the same place.“
“Stopped in here to watch a game before dinner. We sat sat the bar. The bartender was nice. This is obviously a place where there are a ton of regulars. The bar was clean. There was a slew of snacks available for purchase. They were setting up for karaoke around 8:30 but we were not able to stay for that.“

“Ate lunch here Aug 10, 2023. In the top 3 of best philly cheesesteak sandwiches I have ever had - fresh shaved roast beef. And I eat a lot of them while traveling. However, I did luck out because they don't do this everyday. I am gluten free so philly cheesesteak with no bread is my go-to when traveling. Service was good.“

“Mudder's doesn't look like much from the outside, but I can guarantee it's warm on the inside. Miss Amy is your host and owner, and they don't come better than her. The locals are what you would expect from the fly-over part of the country. Kind, friendly, respectful, and All American. This is a must stop place if you're passing through the middle of Iowa.“

“Jenny and the crew have done an amazing job with the reopening and menu! We stopped today for lunch, sat outside on a beautiful day...and shared the plate-size breaded Tenderloin and crispy egg rolls. The sweet chili sauce accompanying the egg rolls was FIRE and so delish! ? We'll be back ?“

“I was here for super bowl Sunday. The owners do not have a daughter they have 3 sons. I was there until 11 and lights are not off and I was not asked to leave. That is very weird you had that experience. It is a very fun bar and a great atmosphere and will be back !!!“
