“Cute little spot located on Main Street. Fairly priced hard scoop ice cream also delicious drinks and lattes and teas. They have a lot of novelty items as well like jewelry and candles and some mix and match items.I got the mango tajin ice cream and it was so good!“
“Such a charming and decadent little shop! All their sweets are amazing and we love that they also offer a nice variety of tea served in beautiful pots and cups. The entire staff and owners are so welcoming and kind whenever we visit. Definitely the highlight of our day when we get the chance to stop by! ❤️“
“First time visiting. The fries are different ? but good! My order was fresh, hot and juicy! We followed it up with cement shakes and omg! It hit the spot! The weight scale even showed me how much I liked it the next morning though...SO BE MINDFUL IF YOU'RE WATCHING YOUR CALORIES AND FOOD CHOICES. The atmosphere was very retro and I Loved it! I most definitely will be returning....BUT it is extremely expensive. So make sure you got your plastic pass ? or that paper cause your gonna need it there! Just way too much goodness, to NOT wanna try something new. The restaurant was pretty clean too (I didn't use the restroom though). My only complaint, would be the NO HAIR NETS granted they had on hats or visors. One young lady had a visor hat and some extremely long hair in a ponytail halfway down her back still.....so some advice I'd offer is wear a hair net WITH your hat if your hair is THAT long. However, outside of that.....I enjoyed myself and so did my kids. Thank you ❤️“
“Super fun cookie shop! ? Handy that it's open late - I like getting treats after a night exam but everywhere else is always closed. Cookies and ice cream are both sold here and it makes it fun to mix and match. 4 stars because the Cookies themselves aren't anything exceptional.“
“I’ve worked in customer service for 4 years so I say this in the absolute nicest way possible. The employees aren’t super welcoming or friendly to customers and seem somewhat bored. The girl checking us out gestured to us to put our cups on the scale but that’s about it. Maybe it was just a slow day, so I won’t be harsh. The ice cream was delicious and there were a ton of options/toppings!“
“Hickory Park is beyond just an eatery, it is almost an attraction by itself in Ames. We loved their special blend of rustic charm and welcoming warmth.The service was casual but great. In the realm of the BBQ flavors, it may not be my number one. However, with their very resonable pricing, feel, and ambience, you might as well do yourself a favor and give them a shot when you're in this part of the town.“
