“Couldn't resist stopping by after flying in from Denver to visit a rural spot in Iowa, even though I had to go a bit out of my way to check out this "Colorado Grill." I was pleased to see the familiar site of Longs Peak greeting me upon entry and some avalanche themed items on the menu. The food and the atmosphere were worth the drive as I had a large and delicious meal and enjoyed the familiar sites.”

“This was my first time eating here. The food is very good and it's a very inviting place. What I found the most amazing is when an elderly woman was ready to leave after visiting and eating her meal let the blonde bartender/waitress know and she came right over and helped her out the door and all the way to her car and in her car. That is so priceless. I lost my mother last month and I found this was so tearful and touching.God bless your business and your employees.”

“Ambiance was great. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers/brewery. She was on her phone a lot and wasn't very interactive beyond ordering and serving. Beers were average but the root beer was fantastic! We went on a Friday night and we're the only ones there for the most part, but the bartender mentioned live music is played on Saturday and it's very lively.”

“I am an Ames native but live in Hawaii now. My brother, his wife, my sister, and my nephew hung out there for a few hours last night. We had a blast. Friendly bartender, great jukebox, good vibes...and in the middle of summer, a pitcher of ice-cold beer is amazingly refreshing. Can't wait for a return visit!”

“Let's start by saying, I don't know anything about coffee. I can't drink caffeine, so I know nothing about their coffee. However, every crème Frappuccino I've had has been wonderful. The baristas are exceptional and very patient with me, as I am that person that brings a Pinterest Starbucks recipe with me. I love that this Starbucks is inside Hyvee, bc I can get everything at one place. The only thing that would make it better is offering the apple croissant year round .”
