“The food is good, but the whole dining room is open with no walls so the sound has nowhere else to go. Directly behind where I was sitting is the server staging area where they get drinks and were apparently rolling 1000 sets of silverware. Its only a half wall so we can't hardly get out of the way of the sound. I'll probably order food to go next time because it was really tasty, but if you're coming in for a hangover brunch, you're gonna have a bad time.”

“If you want a very good home cooked country breakfast then look no further than The Hungry Bear in Burlington, Iowa. The food here is absolutely delicious and made with genuine homemade ingredients. The flavor and seasoning in and on the food is absolutely amazing 👏. Oh and don't get me started on the portions of the food. They give you so much you will be taking leftovers home I can tell you that unless you're really hungry than you can probably handle the huge portions.
It's a nice little place tucked away in the downtown part of Burlington. The staff and waitress is very friendly and always checking in on you for a refill on your beverage and to make sure the food is good. Better get there early on the weekends because it does get busy but for good reasoning that food is something everyone wants. So go check it out you will enjoy each bite you take for sure.”

“Stopped in today for lunch for the first time. Everything was absolutely delicious 10 out of 10 the potato with all the ingredients had so much flavor and the macaroni cheese was awesome.”

“Was here this week and I pop in a couple times a month to meet outside of the office. We had our Christmas lunch at the Bean this last week. I love the variety of healthy food and the creative plates they serve. I have had many of their wraps, avocado toast, bowls, salads, veges and hummus, everything is delish! Serving sizes are nice and the sides are very healthy, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables in their menu! Now we cannot forget about their bakery items so good the oatmeal pie is a must if you haven't ever been there along with the banana cake and pumpkin bars. You won't be mad about any of the selection all will hit the spot!”

Best burger I have had in iowa and the tots were so crispy!!! We will definitely be back, just make sure you have cash because they don’t take cards but they do have an ATM!!! 12/10 recommend.”

“Haven't had Godfather's Pizza in *many* years. Gave this a try while visiting the area. It was surprisingly good and highly reminiscent of what I remember Godfather's Pizza being back in the 1990's. Classic Combo was thick, meaty, cheesy, and tasty. The Golden Pan crust was quite nice too - lightly crisped with a buttery appeal. Pizza was just coming out of the oven exactly 20 minutes after ordering through the app (app predicted 40 minutes). Pickup inside the Jet Stop was super quick and simple, in and out in about 20 seconds. Pleased in all respects. Will definitely do this again when in the area.”

“Normally I have no issues. However, today I had one of the girls get a really nasty sarcastic attitude when I went to pick my order. She was busy, and I totally understand that, which is why I was trying to let her keep working and tell my name to the lady who was actually asking. This girl then asked my name and I repeated myself with some volume due to the noise…I assumed she couldn’t hear me. She then mumbled under her breath “well excuse me” and go back to what she was working on. Not very thrilled today by my experience.”

“Is a Muslim I have a restriction on consuming regular meat, which is not Halal. But I always love their waffle fries with Chick-fil-A ketchup. The test is awesome. If they’re busy, it’s hard to get extra catchup from them, but they’re kind enough to serve the people.”

“So after several friends recommending that we try Los Charros. We were pleasantly rewarded with a great experience.
The Service: This is where they shine. While it was a Saturday night at 6:30 on Valentines day, they were on point. There was a short wait - to be expected, they were fast. And not sloppy fast.
The Food: we had the Valentines day special. Drinks were out shortly after the chips and salsa. Both were fresh and their salsa is a bit spicy. The Los Charros Fajita and rice and refried beans were cooked to perfection. You get three shells and guacamole and pico-de-gio with lettuce. Chilli Relanos was one of my favorite dishes. I measure how good a restaurant is by this. Mine was excellent. While we don't drink alcohol it was something that is definitely well done. High end spirits and beer are available. They have enormous margaritas.
The Atmosphere: decor was traditional Mexican, with hints of Valentines day decor tastefully added. With lots of seating options to all, they even have ADA compliant options.
It's nice to see a restaurant that does it right.”

“They don't take walk in customers reservations only. The place was empty there were more employees then customers and they claimed they were fully booked for the night. The staff is so busy they can't even greet people but are plenty rude enough to run customers right out of the door. They didn't even offer to order takeout just run business out the door. Being a "small" business shouldn't mean not taking customers if possible. Do not fall for the good reviews as we did they are incredibly deceiving. The first thing on their page should be weekend reservations only because they want the restaurant 3/4 empty at all times. I could understand not getting to dine-in if the restaurant was full but that was not the case. On top of that we were not even offered to order takeout. There was very little parking near the restaurant but the people weren't there for sushi they were at the Italian restaurant next door.”

“If you've never been to a Culver's, this is the one to go too. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. The food is always fresh and made with care (no sloppy McBurgers here). And they offer a generous Military Discount for those eligible. A great place to enjoy a nice lunch in a clean restaurant with quality service all around.”

“The DQs in Burlington have the LARGEST size large of any DQ we have been to (in this state and others). They're HUGE! The large cup size at other stores is the size of a medium here. Bring your appetite and grab a lid so you can freeze the left-overs.”

The only thing I'm not happy about was with the bathroom needing attention; not toilet paper in the men's bathroom. They should pay more attention while it's slow and detailed.
