“This was one of my favorite breweries I visited while in Iowa for a work trip. It's a small tasting room space but we had plenty of place to sit on a Wednesday night visit. They're also very big into the cycling community which is awesome, if I lived in the area I'd definitely make it a stopping point on my rides! They get the full stars from me because of their awesome dark beer selection. The stout family has been increasingly challenging these days as people keep perverting their beer with s'mores and pastries and other junk in their beer. Fenders had an amazing oatmeal stout and an imperial stout that I couldn't get enough of... I even got a crowler of it to take back to Wisconsin with me it was that good! Also love that they let you bring in food, so we ordered pizza from the local joint next door.“

Lunch on Wednesday the 9 inch pizzas are just the right size for an individual.The “meatzza”salad is something great if you are a “meatitarian”.Fries and onion rings are just right spice and just the right breading, they come out to the table blazing hot.Sure to make time for your lunch stop and try them out if you are driving past Grimes.“

“Absolutely delicious! I had the Pineapple Chicken meal, which came with steamed rice, crab Rangoon, macaroni salad & a drink. Hubby had the Chicken Katsu, which came with steamed rice and macaroni salad. His chicken was so crispy and delicious. We also split an order of Spam Musubi. Everything was amazing and both were large portions, we both ended up taking part of our meals home. 10/10 recommend. Great prices and friendly staff!“

“Love this place. The food is top notch and It’s reasonably priced. In an area of BBQ and Americana, this is a nice break for some variety. We got several sushi rolls as well as some noodle bowls. Just so tasty. My only critiques are the service was a little longer than expected (worth it) and most rolls were just slight variations of California rolls or had mango. So not a lot of variety, but I didn’t care as they were all so good. The owner even noticed I had an Utah area code and connected over it. Great place!“

“Juliana was our server today and I have to say this girl has the most magnetic, fun personality. What a tremendous value to your restaurant she is! She knew so much about the menu and drinks! “First time here, my husband told me it was pretty good so I wanted to try it out. I was very impressed! I ordered the Original Flour taco & a Chicken Flour taco. We got our food really fast. They were so good and big enough that I ended up taking half my chicken one home. We even bought a bottle of their hot sauce to take home. I will be returning!“

“We arrived at 8:40, wanting to make our first visit to Pagliai's, only to find that they closed at 9 p.m. We walked in and said, since they close in a few minutes, maybe we can get a to-go order. The pizza maker behind the counter said, "If you want to dine in, pick a table. We are happy to serve you!" We selected a table and ordered the House Special, adding black olives.We both had a tossed salad, which was very tasty and came with a warm breadstick.Then the guy who told us to come in and sit asked if we wanted some cheese bread on this house. "Um, yes, please!" It was warm and tasty, too.Now, I am a bit of an iced tea snob. I often turn my nose up when restaurants brew tea but fail to clean their machines properly. Their iced tea smelled and tasted fresh. I even told the chef that when he brought us the cheese bread. He said we break the machine down and clean all the parts every night, not just rinse it out.The pizza was fresh from the oven and crisp! Just the right amount of toppings on each bite.We were delighted and will be back! Right off the interstate, easy in and out.“

I had fears the food would take a long time, but I don’t think 10 minutes elapsed between ordering and food delivery and the food was fantastic! Everyone raved about their dish. “We often eat there when we're in Ankeny, and did so last Sunday. The fish and chips was, as it always is, outstanding. Our waitress, Jordan, was equally outstanding. She took care of our lunch time needs, often anticipating what we were wanting next. She even sent my wife home with a cup of the pop she was drinking. Simply outstanding and is our favorite restaurant when we're in Des Moines area.“

We have been going to this place for several years and they always satisfy us. The interior is cozy and small, and the business is owner-operated. They have a separate traditional menu that is worth trying, but also worth gate keeping. It features Korean-Chinese fusion dishes that are delicious and unique. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Our orders are usually so hot from the wok that we have to wait a few minutes before digging in. The owners and staff are very friendly, and the service is extremely fast. The number of local Chinese restaurants in the city has dwindled over the past decade, so finding a little gem like this is a treat for us whenever we crave some freshly cooked Chinese food.“

“The fries are excellent although the last 2 times I went to B-Bop's the burgers seemed like they weren't cooked enough. Not pink but kinda soggy still. A good burger should have a bit of char a good example of this is at burger king. There was not enough sauce on the burger either. But definitely not a bad choice if you are hungry. If you have not tried the chocolate shake you're missing out. It's like what McDonald's used to have but a bit better even.“

“Third sushi joint I’ve been to in Iowa. Food was good. Very tasty and a large menu of options. Place was crowded so the service was slower than expected. We were a group of 6 plus a baby. Table was plenty big enough for all of us. Plenty of parking options. Would definitely come back again.Parking: Tons of parking. This won’t be an issue. We shoes up at 6pm on Saturday.“

The wait staff was friendly and patient coming back multiple times as we had a hard time figuring out what we wanted. Refilling chips and salsa, and drinks. The food we ordered came hit and plentiful. Everything tastes great and most of us took home leftovers. The chicken chimi didn't make it to a Togo container. It was just too good. The chips and salsa were good for a hungry bunch but we're on the bland side. The chips had no flavor on their own.“
