“We've been going to Ron and Pats for years, but their new pizza combo's are excellent. We just had the Sicillian with the thin crust extra crispy, and it's one of the best pizzas we've had there! If you haven't been, it's such a great place, amazing staff who are ultra friendly. Their website and online ordering are super smooth and easy to use. It's definitely worth the trip for great pizza!!!!“

“I have been going to Hayashi for years. Whenever, I have a craving for Japanese strip steaks, sushi, or Udon that is my go-to place. Excellent Food, Excellent Service, and Excellent Ambiance. I would highly recommend this Japanese steak house. They go out of their way to serve their customers. “We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.“

“Wow! I love what they've done to the place! In case you haven't heard, The Vine opened their newly constructed patio at the end of June, and it is a great addition to the local dining scene! It is an attractive space with lots of exposed wood beams, plenty of tv's, and an awesome looking bar top.My most recent visit to the patio was on a Tuesday, for lunch with a friend. We decided to sit outside; and even though it was a cool Autumn day, we were perfectly comfortable. We arrived shortly after they opened and there was plenty of seating; by the time we finished-up they had a very nice crowd.My buddy ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Salad, and I had the The Irishman, which is a Burger with Guinness Cheese Dip, an onion ring, and homemade pickles. We both agreed the food was delicious. Service was excellent (as always).I love the new space, and can't wait for my next visit. “First time visit. Had a good experience. Rachel took my order and was very polite and personable. It was a pleasure chatting with her while waiting for my (to-go)order. While waiting, I also watched a team of employees work well together (even through the were short staffed). Our food was pretty good. Personally not a fan of the baked potatoes as mine was overcooked. Highly recommend the Cuban sandwich.I spoke briefly with the GM (Sunshine) and commended her on everything. People just don’t say thank you enough these days.Looking forward to returning.“

“This place is sooo good! I love a sushi place where we can get thick pieces of sashimi that melt in your mouth. Their rolls and potstickers were also great. My kids have been slowly getting into sushi and they approved of everything. The inside is nice, it's a little updated since it was Lovely Thai. I need to come back soon to try the other foods. “I've never ever been there before. Went with a friend for dinner. We ordered the double-decker pizza. I also have never had one of those. That was kind of fun. It was like pizza with pizza on top. It was something interesting to try a fun experience. Cute place. nice friendly people. You get peanuts to start that was kind of fun so if you have a peanut allergy I don't recommend going there. But the food and service was great. the girls w running their butts off trying to keep up with all the work they had and they were doing a great job. Definitely go try it out.“

The oven they have looks really cool for one but it perfectly softens yet crisps the fresh dough. Think of MOD pizza with fresh ingredients. “Super cute coffee shop! Their menu is extensive and includes so many different things, including breakfast. Their bakery is huge and has a ton of baked goods, from muffins to scones and cookies.I got their Baja beef labretti with some veggies and hummus, which was super yummy. Their chai latte is also delicious.It does get quite crowded. I went on a Wednesday at lunch time and the line was through the door. I'd recommend going earlier or around 1-2pm to skip the rush.“
