As I waited for him to show up, she checked on me every so often to see if I needed anything and, after he showed up and we placed our order, she continued to check on us, even as the place was filled up on the upper patio. Food was very good, very nice atmosphere and our server, Bella, was the best server I’ve had at any restaurant I’ve been to. “Took The Wife here for a late lunch. It was busy-ish, but we got a table fairly quickly. I got a Cheeseburger that took a very long time to make, and The Wife got a soup and half a sandwich. Nice place for the most part, but the seats and tables were sticky and dirty. Prices were more than average. A bit on the high side. Not sure if we'll come back.“

“This place was great. We stopped in this morning I had the green bowl & the Oreo donut. I have no idea how he got the bowl of the base so light & airy. Normally bowls are dense, it was not at all, I really enjoyed it. Husband got the peanut lovers shake. It was all so good. It was filling & satisfying. Our mixologist, David, was super personable and well versed in his craft. He’s bringing experience from cocktail programs in the city to the burbs! From a business standpoint you made us feel unwelcome in an establishment where we spent money. Take the $60 2 top who complained over what we spent there tonight? At least pull one of us aside instead of making a grand announcement. Chad you’re a great and talented owner, but train your staff how to talk to people. Just tell us, dont make a scene.“

They feature a seasonal food and cocktail menu, and it never disappoints!! The pig and fig wood fired pizza is mouth watering. The wood fired chicken thighs liven up your tastebuds with a little kick of spice from the diced jalapeños. (I forgot to take photos of our food, as we were pretty hungry). The staff is inviting, friendly and helpful with all of their menu favorites. You don't need reservations, however if it's a Friday or Saturday evening I would suggest it.“

“Great local brewery! Staff is fantastic! Beer is varied and flavorful! Only downside is a tendency for very loud and unruly young children on busier days, but I can understand how that is a fine line to walk. Most parents do a good job, but the ones that don’t ruin it for everyone. Absolutely worth checking out, but you may have to be the one to explain how children should behave in an alcohol serving establishment, to entitled parents of young children. Again not the brewery’s fault, but I wish they could find a way to be a bit more proactive in curbing poor parental behavior. Still 5 stars! Still worth the trip. Best member club for the money. “O....M...G!! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Where has this flavor been all my life! I was sooo in heaven. How come this wasn't discovered when I was a kid?? This place gives the Vienna hotdog a serious run around the park with the different flavors, ingredients, and the way their dishes are served to make their food items unique. I was getting off of work one day last week and wanted a hotdog, but I didn't know where I wanted to go. I Googled the word dawd (because I thought it was different lol), and The Dawg Park in the Arboretum appeared just 3 doors down east of Xsport Fitness. The staff was nice and polite. The environment was clean and inviting. Tony, the manager, introduced himself and gave me a history of the establishment. I asked what he would suggest because everything on the menu looked mouth watering. I had the Muddy Fries ? and Ninja Dawg . Not only was it great tasting, but it was very appealing to the eye. Presentation and flavor are everything to me. This place is very kid friendly with a children's menu, children movies playing, video arcade games, and a giant connect four. So, on your downtime, evening run for errands, a close by shopping experience, or a weekend out with friends or family, stop by Dawg Park, meet Tony and his crew. Tell him Mimi sent you ??“

“I have been here twice. 1st time I had the burger and it was very good. This time I had the cheesy beef with a side of giardiniera, au jus for dipping, marinara and a small fry. The beef is definitely home made and probably on of the most tender beefs I've ever had, great flavor, just awesome! The Giardiniera is home made and has the perfect amount of heat, marinara sauce is very good too. The fries are fresh cut and also very good. Don't let the look on the outside fool you. It's not your average fast food place. It's way above that. I will be back to try other menu items.“

I had the largest fried Shrimp ever and they were amazing.We went for the fantastic Shindig 60's band, the top local band in the Chicago area. They were outstanding, as usual.The band stage was WAY too small but worked. It needs to be reconfigured to a larger size and the lighting needs to be adjusted because taking pictures didn't work.My suggestions :1. Remove the tv's since you're really not a good venue as a sports bar. Add more tables under the tv's.2. Expand the band area and include an area for dancing. Too many people were dancing around the tables.5 separate dining areas. Lots of seating.I rated 5stars because it was an exceptional situation with St. Patrick's Day, the staff was overwhelmed with the crowds but were amazing under the circumstances.03/16/24 was St. Paddy day celebration.We had a reservation 1 month in advance. Thank goodness. But we still waited 30 minutes for our table because the wait staff wouldn't get the previous people to leave our table. This needs to be adjusted.Parking: Free parking but on an occasion, like St Patrick's day, get there early.“

“It's a small but cozy pub. We've been here several times for dinner. We've driven by this place often and not sure why we never went in. We usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are very friendly. Troy has made us some great cocktails. I recommend Coffee Shop After Hours with mezcal (or vodka), cold brew and cocoa bean. The Rye Old Fashioned is really good. The Bloody Mary (only served during Sunday brunch) is outrageous with that slider on top! They have a decent beer selection also. The prime rib special is delicious and perfectly cooked. Rocco burger is good too. We enjoy coming here place. You will need to be mindful of the hours because they're not typical.“

They have an extensive beer list - about a dozen on tap and over a hundred bottles and cans. We both ordered hamburgers. I got the one with the grilled onions and my husband got the basic. Hamburgers were great, one of the best in the area. They come with a choice of fries or tots. The fries were over-seasoned and hard, not very good. The tops were crispy and nicely seasoned, but mushy inside, like mashed potatoes. I guess the tots were better, but I didn't love them. The service was great! Loved our server. Be sure to check out the cute, themed campers. Good drink selection to choose from. The food is okay, nothing special but it's decent bar type food. Now, for the star of the show, the live music!! Decor aside, this is what really makes the ambiance here. Different cover bands and themed nights to accommodate all tastes and interests. “The energy and vibe at night is really high. The bar is full and there is lots of seating. We sat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender right away. My husband ordered a Guinness Draught Stout and it was really delicious (not bitter at all) and I just had a sip of his and just drank some water. I am not really healthy enough to have an entire beer. When we ate here last time we signed up for the rewards program called 360 and on this visit we get a free pepperoni or cheese pizza. There are large tables to accommodate big families and parties, and a menu with a wide variety of options. The dining area was clean and well-maintained. The service was also very good, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a Grilled Veggie Sandwich on Oat Bran Bread with Potato Salad, the Southwest Salad with Chicken, and Shrimp Tacos with Coldslaw. We went to the bar to get drinks while we waited and eventually got served. I will say that the staff they did have was hustling like crazy so can't be mad at them a bit but management didn't seem present and the small staff was overwhelmed. They had a band while we were there and they were awesome. Food was all very tasty as were the drinks.“
