“There were so many people that there was a wait of about 40 minutes!I ate on the patio when the weather was nice, the atmosphere was quite nice and the servers were friendly. There are so many pancakes that it's hard to eat them all by yourself! Although there was a lot of food, it was delicious and warm, so I was able to eat a lot without getting tired of it.I ordered a pineapple drink and it was quite short!I am satisfied overall and would like to visit again next time “
“This is my second time here at chi tiva. I visit the location downtown first and second time at the Worth, IL location. My experience completely different from the first time around. I visit location downtown informing workers my first time how they offered to let us sample slushy flavors nice jester….they did not inform me of dosage and explain how it may possibly affect first timer. With that being said I ordered 50mg coffee taking a few sips and telling my sister she immediately told me to go back to check out and order a 10mg let them know it was my first time. I can say my experience second time around at the Worth location with Lori she greeted us and explained everything we were interested in getting letting us know dosages and tolerance level. I mentioned at the end I really appreciate her customer service and explaining super knowledgeable. I told myself I would probably not come back but this experience definitely worth coming back when in town. Thank you!“
“I randomly come here before work to pick up a breakfast pastry and always end up leaving with two. Today I picked up a crossaint w glazed sugar and cinnamon and a peanut butter brownie. This crossaint is awesome. So crispy, buttery and delicious. Excellent with a good cup of coffee.“
“I have been walking past this place every day since I moved here (I use the CTA Roosevelt Station), but I finally visited Sweet Bean with some friends from out of town and LOVED it. The coffee was good, nothing spectacular, but the pastries are really the unique part. They are self service, and they have sweet and savory pastries - I have tried a few and they were all amazing. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend a visit if you're in the area“
“I’m giving Tony’s 5 stars because I mean I PERSONALLY have never had a bad meal or experience there. It’s everything you could want in a family style restaurant/ diner. The waiters , bus boys & staff are very attentive. The place is always clean INCLUDING THE BATHROOM! It’s our go to breakfast, lunch or dinner spot ! The menu is filled with so many options and specials to choose from . Portions NEVER disappoint .Today I had their beef stroganoff in which I forgot to take a pic of because I was so hungry but it was fire ! ? you get exactly what you pay for here . They don’t skimp or scrimp on anything !!! Thank you Tony’s for being the go to place to take our family to enjoy a good quality meal. Many memories have been made here .“
“Spunky shop in a gritty part of town. No inside seating and it was way too cold to sit on the patio this morning, so unfortunately I was in and out quick and didn’t talk to the baristas cuz they looked busy. But I really liked the urban hipster look and feel (and fun branding) especially given the rough neighborhood location. And they roast their own beans so the coffee was bold.“
“Honestly can’t say enough good things about Kristoffers. They made my wedding cake and I only get their tres leches for my birthday every year. It’s so so soft and delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness in each bite. I really like the coconut tres leches but my personal favorite is just the regular one. Really enjoy the Chocoflan, regular flan, house salad, and their pastries are always fresh! But if you’re in the area you MUST stop by for a sliceAlso highly highly recommend their lemonade, my mouth is watering just thinking of it right now. The owners are such a kind, sweet couple who make great conversation and always make you feel welcome.Parking: free street parking off to the side if you’re fast enough“
“Very friendly lady (reminded me of my grandma) in the front to greet you. Cute little local coffee shop. With great prices after COVID especially. Most coffee shops around Chicago area have raised their prices so was nice to spend less. Obviously i support small business' raising their prices to survive. That's life. I ordered a dirty chai and it was great! Great coffee. However was a bit sweet but that was my fault for rushing to the bathroom and not talking to the kind lady about what sweetness I wanted. ALSO the bathroom is very CLEAN. It was like a home bathroom. Please others keep it clean as well :)“
“I be doing doordash n uber eats, I've been getting orders from there for a while, today I decided to order me some food got me the steak jibarito that comes with arroz con gandules and some sauce on the side n let me sayyy it was delicious, I even got me the chicken empanada n I used the sauce from the jibarito on it n omgggg sooo good. I even got a Pina colada n omg heaven. And the service was awesome everyone so nice and also lots of things to look at while u wait they have a lil boutique. Totally recommend will be coming back“
“This is our go-to takeout spot. They have plenty of vegan and gluten free options. The massaman curry and basil fried rice are my personal favorites. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and spices. I've had the chive dumplings, fried tofu, veggie egg roll, cucumber salad. (All marked vegan on the menu which I highly appreciate). The panang curry was waaaay too spicy for me so I'm sticking with massaman. I haven't dined in but whenever I pick up take out, the staff is super friendly and the restaurant has a peaceful atmosphere.“
“Ive been to every sip and savor in the city but this is my favorite so far. I got the caramel royale and loved it as usual. I also got the turkey sausage, egg, and cheese croissant with jelly and licked the croissant crumbs off my fingers cause BABYYYY it's that good ??? I'm also ready to taste every drink at the new brewery section because I support y'all so much. Will be back ?“
“I’ve been wanting to try it for so long and I’m glad I was finally able to. I ordered a custom sandwich with jerk chicken, pepper Jack, spinach, and cucumbers. Super flavorful! Next time I think I’ll try the salmon panini. It’s nice to have a jerk spot in the neighborhood.“
“My favorite coffee shop in Chicago! Cafe Jumping Bean coffers a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a tasty pastry. The friendly staff creates a welcoming environment, and the coffee is consistently delicious. Whether you're looking for a quick pick-me-up or a place to enjoy a Sunday morning coffee, Cafe Jumping Bean delivers a satisfying experience every time. Great establishment with reasonable prices!“
“I stumbled upon this cafe yesterday while walking in Pilsen. I ordered a lavender latte, and let me tell you… it was the BEST lavender latte I have ever tried! I loved the cafe’s decor as well and it was very clean. The staff/owner was super friendly and inviting. I am looking forward to my next visit to Mandala Cafe soon! ?“
“I love this coffee shop. They were friendly, they knew me by name, and their coffee and specialty drinks are tasty. I also really enjoyed their Avacado toast. It was absolutely delicious. It is refreshing to go to a locally own coffee shop, that has a wonderful atmosphere, and great prices too. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone in the area.“
“Love this local restaurant! Big fan of their breakfast!! Highly recommend the breakfast tacos and this morning I tried the SEC breakfast sandwich- absolutely delicious! If your looking for a new place to grab breakfast or lunch, try them out!“
“Sweet haven, yummy and presentable.. good customer service and atmosphere.. love it ... you can also personalize Nutella jar with your name as well... but if you are teavel and carrying by plan thwn dont go for it as it will count as separate luggage .. recommended go for print option and buy your own jar back home and label it“
“This was my first time here, and I had the pizza. It was delicious. They have waffles, crepes, and a pizza toast. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals fully. Our only complaint is that it took 40 minutes for the three of us to be served. There were two people working, and although they were working hard, they seemed overwhelmed and a bit disorganized.“
“This is THE bobba shop! We got the signature brown sugar fresh milk with tapioca and cheese foam it was lovely. Perfectly sweet but also refreshing, bubbles cooked perfectly too. Make sure you get the cheese topping on whatever drink you get it’s amazing. The bobba cups come with little bear ears, so darn adorable! The place is decorated so cutely too, bunch of spots to chill and take pictures, especially if you have little kids. The staff are also friendly and they inform you about the menu and your choice of drink very clearly, I appreciate that. This is where I take my bobba every time I come to chinatown now.“
“Best coffee shop in all Oak Park, IL, I do like the place, the atmosphere, the coffee is really really good, you should go, have some pastries or croissants. I recommend The Coffee although they have tea and other beverages. I highly recommend this place. The service is outstanding, smooth“
“Ms. Gray was a customer of mines at AT&T , WONDERFUL HIGH SPIRITED LADY! Upon doing business with her we talked much about her business, she even came back and brought the entire store a sample . Might I say the donuts and popcorn were AMAZING . Popcorn was flavored perfectly & the donuts literally melted in your mouth ! If you ever had second guesses about stopping don’t guess any more , it’s worth every penny !“
“omg beevlove Cafe is amazing.. I've never had a scone,I tried their blueberry scone with honey drizzle- DELICIOUS!!. went back 2wks later for another and tried the bee stinger tea with peach pomegranate I'm in love. to learn of their in-house honey harvesting and products. I'm a supporter and satisfied customer“
“Michelle and her team catered my wedding, and they made every single dream of mine come true. Every guest said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of the food is unmatched. Our family is a loyal customer of the restaurant, and we have never been disappointed by the food. They truly go above and beyond.“
“I stopped by BlackBerry market on yesterday and the atmosphere was busy but flowed smoothly. The smell of coffee was invigorating and I got the drip coffee , a chocolate chip cookie, iced peppermint coffee and a raspberry lemon muffin!! Service was smooth and effective, the breakfast items were yummy and fresh!! The coffee of the coffee!! Strong yet tranquil!! Fresh drip is self serve!! Loved that! The iced peppermint coffee was just what I needed !! Let me say this.. after breakfast and coffee.. I came home cooked a full dinner and washed clothing and was done before 1pm! lol energy!!!! Definitely will go back and recommend!!“
“We loved talking with the helpful man behind the counter. He took the time to explain the various chocolates that they sell. The way in which the fabricating of the chocolate is controlled in such a richly authentic way won me over. My granddaughter loved the samples that we were given. I will be back to buy more bars and to try the hot chocolate. I am thinking that these bars would make lovely gifts. You are a great addition to the Pilsen vibe! Judy DeLeon“
“Went in for the third time yesterday for a quick lunchtime snack and caffeine. On the recommendation of the baristas, I ordered the ham and havarti croissant and a coffee. Both of the items were excellent. The environment was comfortable and well designed for either relaxing or for light work. Left feeling overall pleased with the experience and would definitely return to Vigo again.“
“Best coffee shop in Bridgeport! Very reasonably priced with great coffee and plenty of seating and outlets. Quiet, ambiance music and lots of natural light makes it a great place to study. Their donuts are amazing, even late into the afternoon they taste fresh and are perfectly matched with a coffee.“
“Street parking. Customer-made and recycled wood furniture, only one bathroom stall. Service always good, coffee and food even better. Absolutely the best oatmeal you'll find in Chicago. Wonderful community gem, could use later hours of operation. I'd recommend covering the wooden tables with glass.“
“Convenient, welcoming, inclusive little coffee shop right by/under the L. I just had to buy one of their cute reusable bag to encapsulate the memory. My grandmother said it was the best coffee she'd had all week! Not a ton of room inside, so be ready to travel with your order!“
“I cannot speak highly enough of the quality, goodness and the richness of the products and the pure heart of the staff.. but I will! The shop + staff is truly wonderful and amazing in every sense of the word. From the design of the Matcha bowls, to the very unique one of a kind savory flavors of a variety of snacks and chocolate. Face cleansers, plant based protein shakes, dark chocolate with healing herbs, tea sets, oils, herbs. A plethora. I felt so happy stepping into the shop. I highly recommend trying a bit of everything. There is so much to choose throughout the whole shop like the bowls.. Everything is high end quality, reasonably and fairly priced and sourced. The authenticity of the energy and products of this shop is real. The lanyards are super cute. The merch items are beautiful. If you in the area, or wanting to add this place to your must stop to see, please stop by, bring a friend and explore together what is the wonderful world .. of Wonderful Matcha. Also! It brought me a huge smile to know of the organic items they have and how warm and inviting the staff who work here are. The whole process of seeing my drink made, brought me tears of joy to be transparently honest. It reached the fondness of the deepest parts of my heart with such wonder and joy. Izzy even shared knowledge about matcha making. Which I loved and appreciated learning. Thank you Wonderful Matcha for bringing these items to us Thank you for your welcoming inviting spirits. Thank you for being in the community. This is my joy place and I’ll be stopping by regularly. AND THEY HAVE AN OPTION FOR BIRTHDAY GIFT BOX MAKING. Just name your price and the staff creates beautifully put together high quality gift boxes to gift to your friends and family. AND THEY HAVE NATURAL HERB TEAS!!!“
“I ordered a cappuccino. The cappuccino had the milk volume and texture of a latte, so it was not very enjoyable. The place is a nice place to study, but the quiet broken up by the loudly gossiping baristas. I hate to be a wet blanket, but it was quite loud and disruptive.“
“A small unassuming enclave, full of BIG flavor; with a relaxed yet professional environment. The food was amazing, staff polite, and coffee top shelf. There are many places in the area that are twice the price, with half the quality. I could only include 2 pics because everyone else ate theirs too fast! There was complete silence while we ate, and my family NEVER shuts up. That’s how amazing the food is.“
“It's a tad hard to find, hidden in a large building. Service was okay, my server was kind but slightly overwhelmed. The other server didn't seem to be working as hard. Watched her posted up on her phone for a looong time. I ordered a Bloody Mary and an original eggs benedict. Added cheese and onions to my hashbrowns ($1.59 each) and my total bill was $30 something! Good portions but my food needed salt and pepper. I almost NEVER have to add salt and pepper to my food eating out, it's usually too salty. Now the Bloody Mary was OUTSTANDING. Best one I've ever tasted - nice and spicy with some interesting garnishes. After drinking it, I had to use the restroom. Followed signs down a staircase to an even more remote/sketchy part of the building... only to find the women's restroom locked! With a sign saying ask for a key. Well after walking a maze, I wasn't about to go back upstairs - luckily the men's bathroom was open. They should definitely have signs warning you to get a key before you go all the way down.“
“So, on an early morning trek to the office, I decided to swing by Dollop Coffee to satisfy my ever-growing curiosity about different Lattes. If you've been following my coffee journey through previous reviews, you know the drill.Dollop Coffee is this cute little spot, perfect for a quick caffeine fix on the go. The two dudes behind the counter were surprisingly cheery for that ungodly hour, which instantly set a positive tone for my morning.Let's talk about the Vanilla Latte. It's become my litmus test for coffee joints lately, and Dollop didn't disappoint. The balance of vanilla sweetness and coffee goodness was spot on. What I appreciated most was that it wasn't scalding hot. Seriously, there's nothing worse than burning your tongue on the first sip. Props to Dollop for serving it at a drinkable temperature, allowing me to comfortably stroll to the office without a coffee-related incident. In and out in no time, which is exactly what I needed for my morning hustle. Sometimes you just want a good coffee without the frills, and Dollop delivered on that front.Kudos to the friendly crew at Dollop Coffee for making my early morning coffee stop a pleasant one. If you're in the area and need a quick caffeine hit with a side of friendliness, Dollop is the spot.“
“At Melt in Dip, prepare to be enchanted by a cozy atmosphere and plates piled high with goodness. Sure, it's a bit on the pricey side, but the portions are as generous as the flavors are sweet. The Pistachio Fettuccini is a must-try, and the Nutella Cheesecake is pure bliss. So, if you're up for a little indulgence, Melt in Dip is where it's at.“
“My Absolute Favorite South Loop cafe! Perfect family owned small business, could be a role model of a successful cafe. The best service, great menu. Lalo makes The Best Burgers! And this is my #1 place for latte - always. A true staple of Museum Park community, deserves⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.“
“Super cute coffee/ brunch/ bar. Super clean , and amazing staff. Expresso martinis are ideal ,and my favorite there. Heads up it isn’t chocolate on top it is a coffee bean ? I think their signage is adorable as well. How you bean? Hahaha such a cute sign.“
“Excellent coffee in Chicago (the only one) comparable to an Italian coffee with cream. The lady at the counter is extremely kind and professional. P.s. Sorry, we didn't take the last coffee because we had to go to the airport earlier! Thank you one more time. Keep safe ?“
“Nice place to stop by to work, study, or catch up with friends. There’s a lot of communal seating. The food portions are huge, and the dishes are tasty. The coffee is strong af so prepare yourself. Everything is super clean and I love the communal community vibe. The employees who serve the food are super friendly and helpful. I hope management treats them well. Would drop by again if I was in the area.“
“This place is so cool there are so many things to pick from! Definitely don’t go in there with an appetite you’ll end up buying everything on the menu?everything looks so appetizing definitely recommend going in to take a look at all their variety of “
“This place is so cool! What an awesome atmosphere and experience. It was wild coming back to the area that I grew up in to visit my parents and find a place that felt like it should have been here all along.Great coffee and free old school/classic arcade games, along with board games and cider/beer options too. What more could you ask for?“
“I came to this place with my wife because we enjoy having a few cheap drinks and trying our luck with the slots. Fortunately I won $75 from a $20, would have been the $120 but I pushed my luck. Nevertheless Windsor Café had great friendly service, cheap drinks, and a clean & sanitary establishment for people to kick back and have a great time!“
“We recently catered food for a large party we hosted from Xando. Nothing but good things to say! We ordered the Greek salad, Greek potatoes, chicken Slouvaki, and vegetables. The food was packaged nicely in trays and large bags to ensure it would travel ok in the car. It was still hot when we served it and our guests raved about it. Will definitely order from Xando again in the future.“
“It's really delicious here. I was surprised at how high the quality of the fluffy soufflé pancakes was. I want you to feel like you've been fooled and eat the soufflé pancakes. I honestly didn't expect it to be this delicious. It was so delicious that I thought there aren't many places like this in Japan.Takoyaki is normal. But it's usually delicious.I want you to try this soufflé pancake?. It was really fluffy, slightly sweet, and the fresh cream didn't make it taste too bad. I would love to go to Chicago again just to eat this.“
“I went with a few coworkers to this nice hidden gem. I ordered the Cubano sandwich and the sweet plantains. They were so good and complemented the sandwich most delightfully. Staff were very friendly and pleasant, enjoyed the Spanish music as we had our lunch. I would recommend giving this place a visit. ??“
“Heading back from the symphony and no dinner reservations anywhere on a busy New Years Eve, we decided to take a chance in Saucy Porka and we weren’t disappointed. The Bacos are like mini tacos, with a super soft and warm bun, the Pho was a home run, and the seasoned sweet potato fries were delicious. There’s a piano for anyone who wants to play it and it’s spotless clean restaurant in Midtown not far from Grand entertainment area. We were pleased to meet the owner who told us the first Saucy Porka is in Chicago. We will be back!“
“this is a great little café. They have an Outdoor seating. I had A cold iced mocha with a gluten-free brownie that was very delicious. I wanted to try a brownie since the brownie was invented in Chicago Illinois. This brownie was not too sweet and the consistency and flavor was perfect. It didn’t have nuts but I thoroughly enjoyed it. This café is very busy But I didn’t have to wait forever. I would definitely recommend come here for a coffee and a snack. They have a lot of sweets here, baked goods and bake themselves.“
“My husband and I had our son’s first birthday party on 2/17 at Little Hoppers. From our first contact in November, Beth was nothing short of warm, supportive, and communicative. She put my anxieties at ease, and even helped obtain some of the items I wanted for the party. I can tell she is passionate about what she does, and loves to help parents make memories. All of my guests loved the space and raved about how nice it was. The littles had a blast and I even enjoyed it as a stress free mama! I’m really appreciative of the Little Hoppers team!“
“The crème brûlée Cappuccino was great ! I added coconut flavor too . The New York Cheesecake French Toast was super amazing !! It really did taste like cheesecake filling . The other dish that I got was the Chorizo Skilet which was super tastey . I haven’t had that style of chorizo before so it was cool trying it . The potato’s inside of it made the dish so much more tastey !! A little bit spicy but you can expect that with Chorizo . Everything was so homemade and exceeded our expectations. I did wait over 40 minutes for my dishes and cappuccino I understand that maybe making those styled drinks is a process and maybe might need a little more staff for the amount of customer volume and to make these dishes . But my service was good and you can see all the workers are going fast and trying . Overall cute place and amazing homemade food .“
“This place is amazing. We came here for my daughter’s birthday and one they went all out for her. I highly recommend this place. Michelle was our server and she was super sweet. This place is great. And we visited from Minnesota which made it extra special they all went out of there way. Thank you.“
