“10/10 so good make you want to slap your momma. It was so delicious we came back 2 days in a row for lunch.I've had chicken sandwiches in Nashville at all the top most happening places, and this definitely topped them all! Great service as well the girls are so sweet. I definitely recommend this place worth every penny!!!!!“
“I went today on my lunch break to get some frijoles charros and rice ended up getting the special, which was so delicious everything is fresh and the place is always very clean 100% the customer service is excellent the girls are so kind and understanding thank you ? for making my lunch so “
“The food was fresh and the tenders were crispy and juicy and delicious. The place had plenty of tables and parking was easy. They did forget an item that we ordered, so I suggest you make sure you have everything before you leave the store.Dietary restrictions: Halal food“
“First time going today. Took the family because I saw they served food for kids too. They have a deal 2 for $10 chicken sandwich so we tried that out. Bought large fries which was enough for all of us plus some, Mac n cheese for my son and another chicken sandwich for my daughter. Paid under $40 with drinks. I tried the hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and I’ll tell you what, it’s very good on par with fry the coop, and I love fry the coop, the fries were crispy and seasoned I had them mild, also great flavor. Mac n cheese was delicious. I can say that this is one of my go tos for now on for hot chicken sandwich, this and fry the coop. I highly recommend this place. The owners were nice as well. Great service. I’ll be back.“
“Alright this place is a hidden gem downtown-- nestled amongst the $20 lunch meals that fuel the labor of the white collar workers. This place literally smacks-- you have the option of grilled chicken, pita, salsa, bbq sauce, mashed potatos-- an odd mix on paper but fricken delish. FOR LIKE ONLY $8. F-“
“This was my first time trying Bonchon. I decided to try the location in Chinatown. There were four of us so we were able to try many items. Service was okay, not fantastic. Ample seating. Didn’t have to wait for a table.-Chicken wings half soy garlic half spicy 5 - spicy had a good amount of heat surprisingly but I really loved the soy garlic. The chicken in general was not overcooked or hard. Skin was crispy and meat was moist.-takoyaki 4 - not bad. Good price. Octopus cooked well.-japchae 4 - surprised this costs more than the chicken katsu. Good quality but the price is a bit too much.-pork buns 4 - good portion but the pricing is as much as the standard entrees.-chicken katsu 5 - generous portion for the price. Perfect for sharing. Chicken was crunchy. Sauce was savory.“
“Was the perfect solution to a meal (and then some) for us busy folks. We got the wing dinner and were blown away by the seasoning, the choice of sauces and fast easy pick up. Seriously, as good as the chicken we got when we were eating our way across the South. I’m super stoked to have such high quality close by and not have to deal with a big chain…i do hope they develop a fried chicken sandwich to rival ole P**eyes, of course…but i know they’re just getting started! 10/10!“
“Restaurant is super spacious! Came here for a late lunch and restaurant had plenty of seating-- ordering food and picking up food takes place at the front counter I portion controlled so I could eat everything else in Chicago haha 1/4 Chicken Leg with one side (ordered Peri Chips aka fries) , plainish -- I really enjoyed this! Love the flavor + char on the chicken and the peri seasoning on fries If you didn't choose a flavor for your chicken~ you're not missing out cause their sauce bar offers them all as a dipping sauce on the side, Wild Herb with Garlic and Lemon Herb were my favorite! Affordable and delicious, high recommend to check out if you're in Chicago!“
“First time in this establishment, the customer service representative was so pleasant we'd had order take out. When we got home the chicken was delicious ?, but the only thing I didn't like was the shrimp it was too spicy and the coleslaw to me was horrible ?, but everything else was great“
“Citybird is a great spot for chicken tenders! All their sauces are delicious and the tenders have a flavorful coating. After trying all their items, my favorite is surprisingly the salad with 3 tenders on the side! The salad has a ton of different high quality ingredients. I like getting the citybird vinaigrette but lemon thyme ranch is also amazing. The fries are really good and such a great deal for the amount they give. The bathroom is always clean. There's street parking along Halsted that you may have to pay for, except for holidays and Sundays. Definitely an underrated, affordable and delicious restaurant and West Loop. Service is great too, if you dine in they bring the food on nice plates to your table.“
“For $11.95, the chicken sandwich combo is fresh, hot, homemade, and a big portion for the price. Fried chicken is not something I crave too often, but $11.95 is basically a Big Mac combo price these days. Gus’s is much better quality with nicer service. Would I go out of my way to return? Probably not. Would I visit again if I was in the area and wanted a fast food type meal? Sure!“
“We are very impressed with the quality of the wings! We are now switching from Buffalo Wild Wings to Wingz it iz :) I ate up these wings pretty good! Price is a better deal. We paid $50 for 50 wings. We will be back again.Parking: Plaza parking“
“The Chicken on a flavor profile is superb...Be aware of the levels of hotness...they are what they describe on the menu. The language barrier with the staff is somewhat shakey so prepare yourself ahead of time. The dining area was limited and a little cold also. But...I can't wait to go back!!Vegetarian options: Very fewWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly“
“The food is always good and fresh ?...the young lady at the window failed to give me my receipt. I had to go into the store. It is important that we get a receipt, especially when using a debit or visa card. The theft is real in these days and times.“
“A great place to eat and the owner supports Veterans if you go there every 22nd of the month they donate 20 percent of every order to ProjectDieHard NFP organization that helps veterans get back to life by providing them a place to stay for up to a year for free.“
“Everything is literally 10/10. I can’t get over how amazing the food is almost as great as the service. My order has always been accurate & so what if they make a mistake it’s human nature, they’re not robots. Everyone here is sooo accommodating, friendly & efficient. Honestly that’s really what keeps me coming “
“It was my first time going and I was a bit disappointed they didn't have corn on the cob anymore but it was still on the menu ? and they also didn't have any mashed potatoes this day either ? but what I did have I must say it was in interesting..it was very healthy and I wasn't expecting healthy but it wasn't a bad healthy lol.. Chicken was definitely juicy and cooked to perfection.. I had the sweet and spicy chicken wrap..was a bit too sweet but tasty nevertheless. I was surprised that they don't have assigned servers but good customer service nonetheless. The kids menu was fine as well...my daughters enjoyed the Mac and cheese but not really the cole slaw ?“
“I have never in life had fresh chicken and fish from a sharks. The fish, fries and chicken from this location were so fresh I was beyond impressed. To the worker who worked the kitchen on January 31st 2023 @ 6:00pm, your the bomb lol. Thank you!!!Vegetarian options: Pescatarian options :).“
“Best hot chicken around! Better than Joella's, Raising Cane's by far. Their ingredients are all natural and the spices are balanced and consistent across experiences. Staff is legit and remembers returning customers. If you are at the Orland mall, you owe it to yourself and to your family to at least try this chicken. Many other choices available. All delicious foods.“
“I had an awesome experience here! The people were super friendly, the food was great, the best Mexican food in the area. I would definitely recommend to family and friends or anyone in general. It's a lovely experience, and i do want to add that the decorations are beautiful. Really makes you feel safe and comfortable as you're enjoying your meal with some nice coffee.“
“Great fried chicken! Chicken falls right off the bone and is super juicy. The skin is very crispy and is not overly seasoned. The French fries had the perfect crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I'm not a fan of Cole slaw at all, but the Cole slaw here is good! Lastly the fritters, I had no idea what a fritter was, but man it was good. I see why they are sold buy the dozens. If you haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and try it. You will not be disappointed.“
“Very cozy, colorful, and cultural vibe with plenty of dining table available inside and covered patio area. The restaurant is upstairs (elevator available for wheelchair access) like noodles and company vibe for dine-in. The host will take you to a table, you have to remember your table number and go to the register to order your food. They bring the food to you. Self-service soft drinks and Nando's peri peri sauce available to add om to your food. I really like the medium garlic sauce mixed with lemon mild sauce for chicken and veggies. They also have a special lunch menu available with free drinks. Rainbow veggie bowl is very good for vegeterians!Vegetarian options: Rainbow veggie bowl is very delicious!Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors maybe challenging to open on wheelchair. Restaurant is upstairs and elevator available.“
“The customer service is great. Is do get crowded sometimes, especially closer to the weekend but the customer service does not slack. The food is very good and fresh and I was never disappointed when ever I went. And no matter what I order, everything was delicious and fresh.“
“We had a Soul Food lunch at our office delivered from Eat and Run. We had 3 kinds of chicken, greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, and everything was really delicious. We served 80 people and everyone loved the food. Many came back for seconds. We will call them again.“
“I was in the area this morning with a coworker. Owners were friendly and humble. It was clean and organized inside. We both got a breakfast sandwich croissant with hashbrowns. Fresh, cooked to order food I was impressed. Awesome local spot who take pride in their store.“
“Late post..but a HONEST one ….Mother’s Day May 14,2023 …on Mother’s Day I was wore out during the day activities going to church and afterwards of this and that I decided not to cook cause it’s Mother’s Day and I decided to get some take out and then we decided to go to Captain Hook’s to get this and that for dinner …First time I step into the place ( always order over the phone hubby pick it up or deliver) but to my surprise it’s a neat and clean place and some restaurants be gloom with the gloomy lights this place is bright and cheerful kinda feel to it ..I order my meal ( The man who works there his customer services was on point ) he was nice well after I got my meal he was so polite he told me on the behalf for Mother’s Day the mothers get a free dessert ( I was eyeing the slices of cake before he even speak lol when I came in ) was a nice touch at the end of a long day …In other words I enjoy my little visit and the worker who was in charge was a delightful pleasant person“
“A great reminder of what’s real in this world.. the collaboration of flavor profiles, complementary aesthetics, and fuego foods combines for a really powerful force in this community ?Not in photo: 2 cups of waterVegetarian options: Waffles and coleslawParking: It’s walking accessibleKid-friendliness: Kid friendly, with responsible (enough) adults lolWheelchair accessibility: Walk in or roll in?“
“You can smell the fresh chicken the moment you walk in. Every piece was hot!!! They missed my extra biscuit on my order, but made up for it by giving me two. I was super happy then! MUCH ❤ TO CHURCH'S CHICKEN ALL THE WAY FROM MILWAUKEE, WI!“
“Extraordinarily delicious fried chicken. Super crispy crunchy on the outside (even when covered in sauce) and juicy tender meat on the inside. Ordered dine-in and food was ready around 10 minutes after ordering, not too long of a wait at all.We tried 3 different flavors: soy garlic, cheesling, and spicy galbi. All were delicious and would recommend every one. The cheeseling (cheese powder) was my personal favorite, complimented the fried chicken super well for the ultimate decadent treat.“
“An uber rider of mine, William a.k.a. "Baker", a brotha, told me to go here and try the chicken breast dinner with mild sauce. I tried this today and it is the bomb, like he said. I'm a korean uber driver. This chicken breast has a deep smokey flavor where the leg and thighs do not.It is a 9.5 out of 10 experience; you should try it. The breast is the only one that is smoked, I think. So make note of that and get the breast dinner combo with fries, and tell them mild sauce!“
“It's a small KFC, been going here for years. Hard to get a job at though. My family always enjoyed this place, I go time to time. Love their deals, their famous bowl, popcorn chicken, and bucket always win me over. Their promos are nice but lately it's getting pricier. A small joke, not far from Lover's lane, you can have both a thigh and a leg tonight. Either way staff is always nice.“
“The chicken tenders are always delicious and the buns too! I always order an extra one. Why aren’t there more locations around Chicago? Like at the Pulaski Promenade at 41st and Pulaski? There’s still some open land to build a restaurant by those stores.“
“My driving skills are non-existent. My son dropped me off to get myself something to eat. Everything looks brand-new. I commented that I would like more gravy for my mashed potatoes and they WERE kind offering me more. If you don't take care of your customers, somebody else will!!!“
“Chicken was hot and good tasting. The red beans and rice were just ok. The biscuit was subpar, wasn't hot, it was hard on the top and soft on the bottom. I remember when the biscuits used to be on point, that was back in the 80's and 90's. Hot and buttery biscuits ?“
