“I’ve been to this location many times for lunch and dinner, mostly pick up. The food here is quality is very good, the lunch menu is a great deal as seen on photo, the portion is great. Compliments to the Chef and all of the hard working staff! I recommend getting the jalapeño fried rice ! It is amazing!Parking: Parking lot on side of building“
“The ice cream and boba is good, but it’s mediocre - nothing significant. It was busy so the wait was about 10-15 minutes. The workers were nice. The ice cream doesn’t have any special and amazing flavors, it’s just normal, average ice cream. We got a taro boba which was also average, but good. The boba was cold because I think the drink sat around a little bit before it was given to us. Their orea and banana milkshake was really good though.“
“High quality Thai food. Limited menu (no pad Thai) but that doesn't detract from the offerings. Grandma's pork belly is different from your typical pork belly dish. The pork belly is cut into bitter sized pieces and deep fried. Served with the jaew sauce is really delicious. My wife loves coming for the papaya salad and Thai fried rice. The pad siew is also really well prepared here.“
“My friends and I took a trip to Chicago for our spring break and were recommended this place. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese Ramen with Pork Belly. It was truly really rich in flavors. The service was on point with water refills and napkins replacements. The food delivery was very efficient and presentation was fantastic. The background music did not match the restaurant atmosphere, but overall very aesthetically pleasing! On a personal level, my friends and I got a chance to connect with Daniel, Saigon Sister Owner, and learned more about their restaurant history in Chicago. Daniel really appreciate our feedbacks and present, making the experience feel extra warm welcoming and friendly.“
“This is our go-to takeout spot. They have plenty of vegan and gluten free options. The massaman curry and basil fried rice are my personal favorites. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and spices. I've had the chive dumplings, fried tofu, veggie egg roll, cucumber salad. (All marked vegan on the menu which I highly appreciate). The panang curry was waaaay too spicy for me so I'm sticking with massaman. I haven't dined in but whenever I pick up take out, the staff is super friendly and the restaurant has a peaceful atmosphere.“
“So good! Finally was able to check this off the list and was worth the wait! Pad Kee-Mao wasnt spicy at all in a good way! My fiancé had Catfish curry which he wasnt a fan of but that was just because he tried something different and the payoff wasnt there. Curry was delicious in his opinion though and not too expensive. Wait staff was awesome & attentive!“
“The food was ready for pick up by the time I arrived. The server was very friendly, and the food was very good. I ordered chicken, satay and chicken pad, Thai. I ordered the pad Thai medium spice, which was just right. Not too hot. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again.“
“Just as great as I remembered. I ate here 10 years ago often then I moved, now that I'm back in Chicago it's worth the drive from the Southside! Service awesome, good hot and seasoned perfectly. Basil fried rice, crab Rangoon, pot stickers, pad Thai and ginger wings are staples. I hope this place never closes! I wish the take out on 18th was still there but maybe another location will pop up in the future. Til then I'm going to keep taking the 45 minute ride to Berwyn, it's just that good and the service and quickness you receive such delicious food is unmatched.“
“Some of the best Thai food I have had in awhile. When I am sick, I want some spicy Thai herbs to knock out a virus and this restaurant delivered. Got Covid and all I craved was Thai food. It was soothing, comforting and made me feel better. Staff were so pleasant to work with on the phone and very accommodating. Driver respected my no contact delivery request. The Tom Khar soup was phenomenal - creamy, delicious and all the right spices. Green curry was soothing and smooth. Food was clean and fresh. It was so good I ordered from here 3 times in 1 week while I was sick because that is all I wanted. My sister is now hooked on this place because when she got sick I ordered her what I had and it made her feel better as well. Nothing like fresh comfort food that does not weigh heavy on you to make you feel better. Would recommend giving this restaurant a try.“
“Very nice placeGreat atmosphere I very nice serviceChicken Satay superbCrab ragoon very goodPad thai beef very goodSushi great quality riceOnly Tom Yum soup to much onion and to sourYou need add some sweetenes and spiceI will be back over there for aure“
“Love this place. They're Thai. Fried rice is phenomenal. I order it at least twice a month. Their sushi is fantastic and you can customize. It's a little hard to find but it's right off the expressway but I would recommend this place. Their chicken satay also is phenomenal. It's so moist and tender“
“Good experience. It was busy, but we got our order fairly quickly. The food was hot and delicious. Pot stickers were perfectly crisp, the fried rice actually had flavor. Will be back for sure.Parking: Parking in the garage behind is free if you park less than an hour. There is an entrance to the restaurant from the alley.“
“This is a great place for maki rolls... The service was very good. I love the fact you ordered your food and it came to the table fresh, great concept for buffet. Abit of advice go hungry and with more the 2 people for the buffet. Going back soon to try other foods for sure.“
“There are several great asian restaurants in La Grange, and most are pretty high end.Yau's Place is on the opposite end of the spectrum, but in a quaint kind of way. This is a hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pop restaurant, run by a family that charmingly puts zero effort into creating an ambiance. I seriously say that with affection. This isn't a place you'd want to bring a date, but if you just want some good, cheap, fast chicken fried rice (or whatever your favorite Chinese dish is), I'd recommend it.Just be prepared to have a little "uhh.... are you open?" type of reaction when you walk in.“
“I was back in the neighborhood doing errands and decided to order pickup for lunch.I ordered the lunch special Chicken basil.I asked for the dish to be spicy. The chicken soup included in lunch special.was so.delicious.The dumpling great and the Spicy Basil chicken fantastic! I truly enjoyed my lunch Definitely will.return.and highly reccomend.“
“Solid Thai spot in oak park with quick service and deals if you pay cash (we got a free pad Thai for spending over $70). I absolutely loved the kao soy, I took the broth home and added my own noodles the next day for the best leftover-lunch ever.“
“I tried Chai Yo Thai Cuisine for the first time today for lunch. It was pretty good, we tried the Red & Green curry which were both tasty and spicy. The Tom Yum soup had a nice taste to it as well lots of lime flavor and decent portion size for a small. The beef could be better kind of hard pieces, I think the chicken was better. Also the parking is street parking only. I'd recommend overall.“
“I used to go here years ago, then they switched ownership. Now, the food is back great again!!Vegetarian options: It's a Thai joint. They specialize in many vegetarian/ vegan dishes!!! The egg rolls and shrimp and vegetables tempura was super delicious!!!“
“Since moving back to Chi from CA/TX, I was on the hunt for a reliably good Thai place. I tired quite a few spots upon my return and was let down every.single.time. I read the reviews for Blue Thai and took a chance; I'm happy I did! While my wallet is frowning, I've ordered delivery from here at least once a week since August. The food is consistently great, however, can be a bit on the pricey side depending on your protein choice. I can't comment on portions, because "the meal is not over when I'm full, it's over when I hate myself" I always get the shrimp pad thai (dare I say, Best in Chicago). I order it spicy and request Thai chili flakes on the side. The extra spicy was a little overwhelming, but I still ate it ha. I also always order the crab Rangoon, which is *chefs kiss* (though sometimes I can taste the grease more than I'd like). Overall, it's a 10/10 for to-go from me. I can't comment for in house service, because I've never been. I'm hoping to try the green curry sometime here soon, in which case I'll update the review for that.“
“Great find a few blocks from our hotel and near Millennium Park. Very reasonable prices especially for downtown Chicago. Delicious food, friendly service. Nice atmosphere, though we did takeout. Photos of food taken in low lighting at a different location — food pics would be much better it taken at restaurant table included in pics. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Bento in pic delicious!“
“Best Asian food I’ve had even including china town. Very fresh ingredients in crab Rangoon, bubble tea, wonton dumplings, and shrimp. Very reasonably priced and such friendly service. Don’t let the unassuming outside fool you, this is a hidden gem with amazing “
“I deliberately went out to Westmont because I do frequent the on for what is me the south side of Chicago. They did not disappoint. The food was on point. The drinks were on point, and so was our server excellent. My family and I went on a late Sunday evening it was not crowded.“
“I have been going here for years and I'm happy they survived COVID. They were mostly take out until recently, when they reopened their dine in area. It's a quiet, nice restaurant with good sushi. I have gone to other places for sushi both in surrounding suburbs and in the city and this place is still the best one.“
“I come here every week for chicken satay and spring rolls. Every other Thai place cannot compare to the quality and taste of this place. Trust me I’ve searched everywhere for a place that rivals this place and I have yet to find one. They simply have the best Thai food in Chicago.“
“My family and I come here often and love the food! Everything is so consistently delicious. We have many different dishes and have not ever been disappointed!Kid-friendliness: The woman who owns the restaurant always remembers exactly what our son orders.“
“Lived in the area for years but never heard of this place, I guess I’ve walked by it a few times but it never stuck out to me. Stopped in on a whim, very quiet inside, but the service and food were AMAZING! Staff is very friendly, food came out in under five minutes, and the curries are TO DIE FOR! Can’t wait to go back. Amirit needs better advertising…this place would be the hottest spot in printers row!“
“the food was pretty good, but not the best Thai I've had. pad see eiw was pleasant but not enough sauce for my liking. panang was tasty, but could've used a tad more spice. Tom kha was delicious, but I wanted it to be just a little more sour and creamy. satay and crab rangoons were amazing tho, no notes. overall, tasty, but just needs a liiiiitle more oompf to it. vibes are great tho, love the ambient light and soft fancy restaurant music.“
“I had to take some time to share such a lovely experience with this place…I planned to join friends for dinner and due to lack of communication with friends we ended up having dinner in the Evergreen restaurant while our friends met at the Westchester restaurant. Haha! What an amazing experience, the staff, waiter’s all so pleasant and attentive! Strongly recommend this little gem on the south side. The food and martini options are out of this world. I strongly recommend this place… we ended our night with a night cap at the Westchester restaurant and had the pleasure to meet the owner “Thi Thi”… such a lovely woman. Simply loved the authenticity of Vietnamese and French cuisine… you must try!“
“Benjarong Thai restaurant has the best Thai food around. I was really happy they could make vegan and vegetarian Thai food. The staff was very accommodating and had gluten free options.Vegetarian options: Vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free vegan vegetarian“
“Best Thai restaurant with kind people. There food is addicting I always order Gluten Free Ginger Beef add Brocoli extra beef no mushrooms. My wife always gets pad tai or beef and brocoli and enjoys it. I've never eaten at the resteraunt but it's cozy.I am sick for the hate reviews this place gets. I'm not saying they are cheap but affordable most definitely. Your getting a premium meal each time that has love to it. They have in the past given me wrong food few times but since corrected it and pay more attention on it.There really is no negative remarks I can give as the food is savory and I'm happy each time I eat from here. The meat is never fatty or grisly and they all work very hard. This is my favorite resteraunt as the consistency is there and food is the bestDietary restrictions: Great gluten free options and they pay attention to it.I trust them fully“
“Wow this place is awesome! We wanted to find a restaurant with good Chinese food on our way home from downtown and Harmony had positive reviews so we gave them a try. The outside is simple and straightforward, and a little deceiving in a really good way -- walking inside we were surprised at how much space there was, and the decor and fish tank were spot on! Friendly and fast service, tasty drinks, delicious food, a hidden gem!“
“I love this place! If you go you have got to try the soup dumplings!Update: this is my favorite restaurant. I went regularly when I lived in Chicago. Now every time I come back to visit, I make it a point to stop by Hing Kee. I highly recommend their soup dumplings and scallion pancakes!“
“Mu experience at Simply Thalia was exceptional! It felt so good to be back in my hometown of Chic, and experience Midwest hospitality at its finest at this restaurant. The staff here were so attentive & my sushi was delicious! I gave only four stars for atmosphere because they don’t have an on-site bathroom, but that’s outside of their control. Overall, exceptional value and eatery!“
“My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. Thanks to all the great people at Asian Cuisine Express!!!“
“Tried this place, because of a discount and a free item. Tried a few new items and some old favorites. Everything was fresh and tasty. Everything we got, we went larger or dinner level. It was way worth it. We have had enough for 2 dinners, each, and lunch too. The fried wonton was perfect, the vegetable egg foo young was the best we've had in a long time.Vegetarian options: Egg foo young, veggie fried rice and much more.Parking: Near Beggars and 7-11“
“Authentic (ie., spicy, unless you ask for mild) Thai food restaurant hidden away in a strip mall next to a martial Arts school. Everything is great and cooked to order. Mango smoothie really tastes like mango. Supposedly the chicken wings are outstanding but haven't tried them yet.“
